This is a brand new building, quite nice and spacious. There you can order a taxi in English or Russian. But getting from the airport to Nha Trang can be cheaper, for only 50,000 vnd. To do this, it is enough to leave the airport and look for a girl with such a sign. We buy tickets from her and wait for bus number 18 right there at the exit from the airport.

If you arrive at Cam Ranh airport by domestic airlines, then as soon as you pick up your luggage, you will see a yellow counter and Vietnamese girls cheerfully offering to buy bus tickets from the airport to Nha Trang. Good news: the ticket costs only 50,000 VND. 1.5 years ago it cost 70,000 dong. It's nice when prices fall :) Buy a ticket and go to the exit from the airport. At the exit, show the purchased ticket and you are put on the bus. Sometimes the counters are removed and tickets (as in the case of the international terminal) are sold at the exit from the airport.
Buses are new comfortable minibuses of bright yellow color, or buses No. 18 of white color. There is no difference for you :) The buses are standing right at the exit, it is impossible not to notice them. Now tell me, why go by taxi, if you can get from the airport to the center by a good bus for such little money? At the counter of the five-star Sun Rise hotel, where we lived, the price was announced at 720,000 dongs (34 USD). Now, having an understanding of the price level, some benchmarks have appeared.
On the same day, the eve of departure, we went to the entertainment island Vinpearl, having got into the first taxi that stood at the hotel in five minutes we agreed with the driver about the transfer.
We agreed immediately to the first amount announced by the driver of 350,000 dongs (16 USD). They did not bargain, taking into account that the price was 2 times different from the price offered at the hotel. They also accepted the amount without bargaining and for the reason that they had already agreed with taxi drivers in Vietnam for travel at a fixed price. And despite the fact that Vietnam is Asia in which it is accepted and necessary to bargain, but it was not possible to bargain more than 5-10% from taxi drivers even once. In this case, the game was not worth the candle. But for those who want to save more, it might be possible to bargain some more amount.
There was not much intrigue left in terms of “what if he didn’t come”, but in this case there was a backup firefighter option to try to catch a taxi on the street or call through a dispatcher (local SIM card and taxi number were available). The branded business card of the taxi company handed over to us with the driver's personal mobile phone removed the small doubts that had crept in and we shook hands.
The driver did not disappoint and was there at exactly the agreed time. A bonus to the trip was that our driver spoke a little Russian, since he worked in Russia in the 90s and he decided to please us by turning on the concert of Tender May on the multimedia system !!))) Probably due to the fact that the events were extremely early in the morning, Affectionate May turned out to be, as the people say, "not into the horse feed" and we refused to listen.))
