How many minutes a long-distance train takes. Long-distance trains. Free toilet at the train station

We try to arrive at the train station an hour before the train leaves. But this is because the city where we live is large and trains stand at the station for 30 or 40 minutes. The carriages are filled with water, food is loaded into the restaurant, parcels and letters are loaded into the mail cars.

Therefore, if you arrive half an hour before departure, then the train will already be at the platform, the first passengers have already entered the cars and will have to wait until they pack their suitcases and accommodate themselves.

Usually we take tickets in advance, we choose the lower seats. If you arrive at the station before the train arrives, you can be among the first to enter the carriage and it will no longer be so that someone has already put their suitcases in the locker under the lower shelf. You will have to ask your fellow travelers to remove them, but you don't want to start a trip with conflicts.

Once I read the rules at the railway station, I was just sitting in front of the stand, it was written there that arrival at the station for passengers in order to avoid being late, there should be in 30-40 minutes.

But I usually do it in an hour, so as not to rush, look around, find an exit to the platform and buy something that I did not have time to travel (this happened more than once).

If you are going on a foreign trip and you also need to go through passport control at the station, then it is better to arrive at the railway station an hour before departure.

If you have a trip within the country (the so-called domestic flight), then you can arrive at the station 25-30 minutes before the train leaves.

It will be best if you arrive at the railway station in 40 minutes. And no rush.

I consider it optimal to arrive in 40 minutes.

    1. Security screening at the entrance to the station (in Moscow)
    2. If the station is unfamiliar, it is not immediately possible to navigate where to go (especially, at large stations, and where suburban trains leave from)
    3. Trains are very long. You can walk to your carriage for 5-10 minutes
    4. It is better to be one of the first to come to your place in order to calmly decompose .
  • In my opinion, of course, it is better to arrive at the station in an hour, or even an hour and a half, since you still have to go through security checks, and choose a place that you personally like, it is better not to be late, you never know what delays in documents may arise, and you can solve everything in an hour and calmly set off on the road.

It is important to know the time of arrival of the train and the time the train stops at the station; you also need to take into account the travel time to the railway station (rush hour, traffic jams).

Before the train arrives, the optimal time of arrival at the railway station is 30 minutes since after arrival, you will have time to show tickets to the conductor, get bed linen (if the trip is long-distance) and calmly sit in your place.

In order to calmly get into the car and take your place without any problems, it is best to arrive in advance, considering the possibility of wasting time in traffic jams. We leave the house an hour before the train arrives at the station, although there are only four stops by public transport. Five minutes walk to the stop, if there are no traffic jams, then ten minutes drive. With traffic jams, it sometimes happens longer, up to 25 minutes. But in any case, we get to the station before the train arrives.

Of course, you can leave later, but suddenly then you have to be nervous and afraid to be late.

But we sat for a while at the station, heard the announcement on which platform the train was arriving and calmly walk out to it.

A quarter of an hour before departure.

This is how long it takes to find out which platform the train is leaving from and to get there.

Usually the train is already ready for boarding, and it will be time to sit down and decompose.

If the station is large, then it is advisable to arrive there half an hour before the expected departure.

We always count on arriving at the station 30-40 minutes before departure.

Much of course depends on how long the train takes to park.

In our city, trains run for 20-25 minutes.

Therefore, you need to arrive 5-10 minutes earlier than this time to see which track and platform the train will come to.

We went on an excursion to a small town, so there the train stood for only 3 minutes, we just managed to find the carriage and jump in, we didn't even check the tickets.

Therefore, there was no point in arriving half an hour in advance. It was possible to arrive 10 minutes before departure.

Single train tickets are of two types: one-way travel and one round-trip.

A one-way train ticket is valid for one trip during the date indicated on it, as well as for one hour of the next day.

On AO trains « Central PPK "and JSC « Moscow-Tverskaya PPK "(as of 2018) the validity of the return ticket exceeds the minimum - the ticket is valid until the end of the next day, excluding weekends and holidays.

Lazarevsky has three big pluses. First, reasonable prices. Secondly, it is a quiet green town. Thirdly, this is a place that makes me nostalgic - ever since my parents, seven years old, brought me here to the sea. However, I would rather tell about all this in a separate review.

But Lazorevsky has a global minus, which is able to cover all the advantages of rest. This is the Russian Railways station, where trains stop for a couple of minutes ON AN UNKNOWN ON WHAT PLATFORM and with the risk of blocking the approach to the apron by ANOTHER STAFF.

Yes, I know it is indecent to use Caps Lock. But I can’t do otherwise! Otherwise, I can only swear!

So, we arrived at Lazorevskoye, at four o'clock in the morning, thanks to the conductor, we quickly threw our suitcases onto the platform and drove to Omega, whose representatives met us in a minibus. The rest started off beautifully. If only it ended the same way!

Here I will take a deep breath, cross out the obscene paragraph and try to describe the extreme boarding of the Adler - St. Petersburg train within the framework of censorship.

We returned with a dozen bags and suitcases, because we were going straight from Lazarevskoye to St. Petersburg (in general, we had a vacation program for a month). Moreover, kebabs, oriental sweets (many, many), Caucasian cheeses, tkemali sauces, spices, fruits, souvenirs ... In short, there was a lot of luggage. And what, we have no right? In the opinion of Russian Railways, apparently, we do not.

We arrived in advance, carried our luggage to the center of the first platform. Well, now we need to find out from which way - from the first, second or third - our train, coming from Adler, will leave (here we are idiots, it would be better to take a taxi to Adler and quietly got into the carriage there!).

So, I go into the station building. And the trash begins. In the window of the attendant they bark at me:

- Which way? How do I know?! As it comes, you will find out!

This is the station attendant speaking. This is said to the passenger fifteen minutes before the train arrives. Which stands in Lazarevskoye for two minutes. Check out the service?

I go up to the gentlemen policemen. The policemen shrug their shoulders. Well, of course, they have other responsibilities.

OK. We take a position in the center of the first platform, opposite the wooden passage to the second. We get into the sprinter's stance. We squeeze the handles of the bags. Dozens of other passengers freeze in exactly the same tense stance. We are all looking at the narrow passage. If the train's approach to the second or third track is announced, we together, in a crowd, crushing each other, will rush to the second platform.

They announce the arrival of the train ... damn it, on the second track! Forward! STOP!!! What is RUNNING ON THE RAILS TO THE CROWD, what's a hundred meters away ?!

And this is another passenger, ARRIVING ON THE FIRST WAY!

So, I'll take a sip of some water and try to paint the picture calmly. Lazarevskoe. Two platforms. Three ways. One overland crossing. Not a single aboveground or underground. And trains arriving at the same time on the second and first tracks.

Some of the passengers (the most daring) flew along the ground crossing with suitcases and screaming children right in front of the arriving passenger. I'm a coward. I froze in a stupor with five bags on the first platform. I could not run across the rails ten meters from the muzzle of the electric locomotive. I was cut off from my train.

Again. I PROVED TO BE CUT OFF FROM MY TRAIN by another train, and my train is at a standstill for two minutes. And this line-up stood up for a long time.

While I was standing and stupid, other passengers, who also remained on this "shore", rushed around the unexpected obstacle. Men, women, children, retirees and even a disabled person on crutches, plus a bunch of luggage, moved past the stretched train to the rails. Damn, I will never forget what it is like to cross the rails with several bags a couple of meters from the locomotive. It's very scary. Damn, this is just a transde.

But here we are the whole crowd between the two trains. On a narrow strip between the first and second tracks. And we stupidly peel at the CLOSED DOORS OF THE CARS. And with what joy is it to them to be open? The doors open onto the platform!

The most active passengers start running and knocking. In some places, disgruntled physiognomies of the conductors begin to appear.

Two minutes have already passed. The train is about to move. But the conductors lazily inform us that "we will stand still." (And indeed, the train stood for ten to fifteen minutes). But when it starts is unclear. We begin to climb into any wagons just to get in.

Throwing my bags. I climb up, sigh. I don't have a ticket. I do not have tickets, money and passports (my relatives turned out to be bolder and managed to cross the crossing). The cell phone went out. Yes, it’s my own fault that I didn’t charge it. Therefore, I get out of the carriage on the second track and go in search of my relatives ... Who have already moved behind the carriages, in the gap between the tracks! And they are trying to get to the first platform in order to pick me up from there!

Yo-mine! And we are not alone. Other passengers rush between platforms and trains ... With bags ... With children ...

In short, our "Adler - St. Petersburg" has started. The mountains and the sea swam through the windows of the vestibule. Checked our tickets. With trembling hands, she opened the packet of Pal Mela. I smoked half a packet. Well, now there is nothing left. Nonsense - sneaking your luggage into your carriage!

I explain the location. I don’t remember the exact number of the cars, but something like this. Half of the luggage is in the fifteenth carriage. The second half, which I pinned, is in the fifth. And our places are either in eighth or tenth. Somewhere like that.

Among this luggage scattered throughout the entire composition - a camera, a netbook, barbecue and other valuable things.

Let's go to collect. And the legs are already breaking. The hands are shaky. Nervous tic. Shakes really. Waste after the experience. And with suitcases - along the vestibules, along the passages, along the reserved seat cars!

They sat down and got out brandy. Even though he was a local, he went well. We tried to talk, to joke, but the result was only a mate with pretexts.

Impressions are for life. We went abruptly. Free extreme from Russian Railways!
