On this beautiful street we will reach the Plaza de España, after which, having passed the ancient Egyptian Temple Debod, we find ourselves in the old town, where they are waiting for us Royal Palace, Almudena Cathedral and area Puerta del Sol... At the last stage of the route, the bus again leaves for Prado Boulevard and carries us past Royal Botanical Garden, as well as museums Queen Sofia and Thyssen-Bornemisza, after which he returns to the Prado Museum.

Twice a day (10:05 and 18:05) an additional stage is added to this route, allowing us to get to the newly built green area of ​​the city - the park. Also, the extended route runs along where the Air Force headquarters, the Moncloa Lighthouse TV tower and the Arc de Triomphe are located. This route runs along Princess Street past the Lyria Palace, which has been open to the public since September. In addition, in the summer, guests of the capital are offered night tour, on which two buses run, the first of which leaves at 22:00.

ROUTE 2: MODERN MADRID

Twice a day (12:15 pm and 04:05 pm), an additional stage is also added to this route, thanks to which we will have the opportunity to look at the tallest buildings in the city, and at the monumental bullfighting square of Las Ventas.

Let's be honest, this is a great way to experience some of the city's most famous sights, especially if you're short on time. All you need to do is buy a ticket, get on the bus, put on headphones (given with the ticket) and ... enjoy the beautiful views of the Spanish capital ... At the same time, you can use the bus at any time without limiting the number of trips.

Madrid sightseeing bus

Using the Madrid tourist bus is very easy and efficient. There are 2 different routes that are independent of each other, but both of them start on Via Felipe IV, opposite the Prado Museum:

Route 1(blue) covers the entire historical center: Royal Palace, Puerta del Sol, Prado Museum, Cibeles Square, Toledo Gate ...(route time approximately 80 minutes). There is also an extended version of the route (2 times a day: 16:40 and 20:40), which also shows us the newly built recreation park: Madrid Rio and the Moncloa area.

Route 2(green), slightly shorter than the first (approximate duration 65 min), covers the modern center of Marid: Paseo de Recoletos boulevard, Nuevos Ministerios zone, Atocha train station, Santiago Bernabeu stadium... The extended route (2 times a day: 16:50 and 20:50) will show us Plaza de Castile (from where you can walk to the famous 4 towers of the business center of Madrid) and the famous Madrid Las Ventas bullring.

How it works
When buying a ticket, we have 2 options: validity for 1 or 2 days.
These tickets allow you to use the bus an unlimited number of times, entering and exiting at any of its stops. At the same time, you can also change routes whenever you want and how many times you want. Thus, you will get to know both the historical and modern parts of the city comfortably and efficiently.

When buying a ticket, you are given headphones to listen to the audio guide (available languages: English, Spanish, French, Russian, Japanese, Danish, Chinese, Arabic, Catalan, Basque and Galician), a map of both routes and a discount book (where you can find discounts on various excursions and events).

Where to buy tickets:

There are 3 ways to buy tickets for this tourist bus:

First, the most recommended and economical: this is buy a ticket online in Russian and avoiding queues. Upon purchase, you will receive a confirmation email and a voucher, which you must present at the entrance to the bus.

Another option would be to buy a ticket right inside the bus at the entrance. Try to have a more or less accurate amount. Banknotes of 100 € and above are not accepted!

And the third option is the kiosks, Madrid City Tour Information Center (Address: Calle felipe iv, opposite the Prado Museum), your hotel reception (reception), or travel agencies.
