In mid-January 1907, the Tula City Duma approved a proposal to create a second place in Tula for a new green recreation area on the outskirts of the city. The park was laid out on 7 acres of land, on the one hand it was limited to military warehouses, on the other - the village of Kurulovka, and on the third - the highway. The city oasis was created at the expense of local philanthropists, a significant part of the funds was contributed by the merchant M.A. Salishchev, who lived in the same area. The planning of the park and the planting of trees were carried out by famous doctors: F.S. Arkhangelsky and land surveyor M.D. Krishnevsky. Today, not all Tula people know that the Tula Komsomolsky Park was originally called Aleksandrovsky. It received its modern name only in 1923. It was then that the city Komsomol members began to take care of the park. The recreation area was periodically improved, new trees were planted and flower beds were broken. In the 90s of the last century, like many other municipal objects, the Komsomolsky Park of Tula was left without due attention. Its territory has ceased to be regularly cleaned; entertainment attractions and cafes have suspended their work for some time. The history of the park began with the approval of the City Duma on January 15, 1907, the report of the head of the city on the organization of a second park in Tula. The Duma decided to start planting trees in the fall. The park was laid by the doctor A.A. Alexandrov, after whom he was named Alexandrovsky.
At the appointed time, when leaving Tula along Millionnaya Street: on the left between the highway, the lands of the peasants of the village of Kurulovka and the military warehouse, about 7 acres of land were dug in ditches. Birches were planted here, which were donated by the vowel of the Duma A.M. Salishchev. Land surveyor M.D. Krishnevsky.
Since 1923, the Tula Komsomol members have been looking after the park. The territory of the park was expanded to 65 hectares, young trees were planted (maples, birches, yellow acacias, larch trees). Since that time, the park began to be called Komsomolsky. In the 1990s, the park was returned to its historical name; in 2000, by the decision of the City Duma, the name of "Komsomolskoye" was again assigned to it.
The visiting card of the park, as well as city attractions, is the monument to Rear Admiral V.F. Rudnev, commander of the Varyag cruiser, installed on the square in front of the central entrance to Komsomolsky Park in 1956.
Komsomolsky Park is one of the most picturesque corners of the Zarechensky district of Tula. At the crossroads of becoming
After the collapse of the USSR, in Crimea, less intensively than in other corners, they got rid of the "remnants of the scoop." The Palace of Pioneers turned into a Center for Children's Creativity, but it still worked. But the grass on the lawns was mowed from time to time, according to the same principle, trees were cut and flowers were planted in flower beds. The alleys were heavily overgrown with grass, stubbornly and effectively making its way between the slabs, small architectural forms were damaged or disappeared.
Someone from the local religious community found out that earlier on the territory there was a temple of St. Andrew the First-Called. The building was destroyed during the war - no one in the USSR began to spend money on its restoration (the church had no historical or artistic significance). After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the temple was "reconstructed", that is, a new one was built with the same name. More noticeable changes on the territory of the park did not take place for a long time.
But the residents of Kerch continued to come here - to sit in the shade, to let the kids ride along the paths on bicycles. Reviews on local resources said that the situation in the park is not awful yet, it can be even worse. Under the canopy of park trees, vacationers from the Turtle Beach were hiding from the midday sun - one of the. Neighborhood with natural shading, the ability to combine swimming in the sea with a picnic on the grass is not the last reason for its popularity. So it was obvious that the park should be preserved.
Reconstruction and visit to the park
In 2018, construction equipment appeared in the park, and at the entrance there were posters with information about the improvement project and the contractors. Funding came from the state budget. Earlier, at the beginning of the century, there was already a minor reconstruction. 
The first position in the design included the most necessary work - replacing paving slabs and benches, arranging a normal toilet, installing lanterns, molding lawns, cutting out emergency trees. Irrigation systems will lead here. But the plans are more serious alterations.
In the Komsomolsk park, it was decided to preserve the maximum of green spaces. But between them there will be several sites for team sports games. Installation of attractions is planned. An amphitheater with a partially covered stage will be built on the former campfire site near the former House of Pioneers. It will still belong to young talents - pioneer bonfires are not in vogue now, and the amphitheater is suitable for concerts and various events. Monuments to Komsomol members and Taman fighters will remain and will be restored to their proper form.
But the main idea is to install an accurate model next to the main alley. This epic structure has already become the most important factor in Kerch life. The designers of the works in the park are sure that the photo with the model will become a must from Kerch.
