Where is the Komsomolsk park of Tula located? Reconstruction and visit to the park

The ancient city of Tula is located just 200 kilometers from the capital of our country. Today, historical monuments of architecture and ultra-modern buildings peacefully coexist on its streets. There are a lot of comfortable rest in this city. The Komsomolsky Park of Tula is one of them. What is the history of this urban oasis and why is it attractive today?

Historical reference

In mid-January 1907, the Tula City Duma approved a proposal to create a second place in Tula for a new green recreation area on the outskirts of the city. The park was laid out on 7 acres of land, on the one hand it was limited to military warehouses, on the other - the village of Kurulovka, and on the third - the highway. The city oasis was created at the expense of local philanthropists, a significant part of the funds was contributed by the merchant M.A. Salishchev, who lived in the same area. The planning of the park and the planting of trees were carried out by famous doctors: F.S. Arkhangelsky and land surveyor M.D. Krishnevsky. Today, not all Tula people know that the Tula Komsomolsky Park was originally called Aleksandrovsky. It received its modern name only in 1923. It was then that the city Komsomol members began to take care of the park. The recreation area was periodically improved, new trees were planted and flower beds were broken. In the 90s of the last century, like many other municipal objects, the Komsomolsky Park of Tula was left without due attention. Its territory has ceased to be regularly cleaned; entertainment attractions and cafes have suspended their work for some time. The government became concerned about the fate of one of the oldest recreation areas in the city only in the early 2000s. The complete reconstruction of the park areas took about ten years. Today Komsomolsky Park is one of the favorite recreation areas

Nature of the Komsomolsk park

On the territory of the park there is a man-made reservoir fed by groundwater. The real pride of the recreation area is a spring with the purest water, which many residents of the nearest quarters collect for drinking. The Komsomolsky Park of Tula also boasts a variety of vegetation. More than 40 species of trees and shrubs grow in the recreation area. There are pines, lindens, chestnuts, maples, aspens, poplars, viburnum, hawthorn and many other plants. The Komsomolsky Park of Tula is especially beautiful in the summer. Many Tula people like to take photos here. And this is not surprising, every year in the recreation area flower beds are broken, interesting art objects are installed, dead trees are removed and garbage is removed. Walking along the shady alleys, you can hear birds singing. In addition to birds, the fauna of the urban oasis is represented by a variety of insects, amphibians and small mammals.

Entertainment and attractions

The Komsomolsky Park in Tula has the following address: Oktyabrskaya Street, 188A. The central entrance to the territory is within walking distance from a public transport stop (named after the recreation area). There is a small square in front of the park gate. There is a monument to Rear Admiral VF Rudnev, commander of the cruiser Varyag. In the recreation area there is an alley of attractions for children, which is open during the summer. There are pedestrian and bicycle paths in the park, and sports equipment rental is available. Of the free options for organizing leisure activities, visitors have access to children's and sports grounds, as well as a fenced area for walking dogs. There are several cafes, kiosks with snacks and soft drinks in the Komsomolsk Park. There is also a summer stage where concerts are held, as well as various festive events. Photo and description

The Komsomolsk Park of Culture and Leisure is located in the Zarechensky district of Tula and belongs to the man-made natural monuments. The history of the park began with the approval of the City Duma on January 15, 1907, the report of the head of the city on the organization of a second park in Tula. The Duma decided to start planting trees in the fall. The park was laid by the doctor A.A. Alexandrov, after whom he was named Alexandrovsky.

At the appointed time, when leaving Tula along Millionnaya Street: on the left between the highway, the lands of the peasants of the village of Kurulovka and the military warehouse, about 7 acres of land were dug in ditches. Birches were planted here, which were donated by the vowel of the Duma A.M. Salishchev. Land surveyor M.D. Krishnevsky.

Since 1923, the Tula Komsomol members have been looking after the park. The territory of the park was expanded to 65 hectares, young trees were planted (maples, birches, yellow acacias, larch trees). Since that time, the park began to be called Komsomolsky. In the 1990s, the park was returned to its historical name; in 2000, by the decision of the City Duma, the name of "Komsomolskoye" was again assigned to it.

The visiting card of the park, as well as city attractions, is the monument to Rear Admiral V.F. Rudnev, commander of the Varyag cruiser, installed on the square in front of the central entrance to Komsomolsky Park in 1956.

Komsomolsky Park is one of the most picturesque corners of the Zarechensky district of Tula. There are attractions for visitors, festive entertainment programs are held, a ski base is open in winter, and an ice skating rink is flooded. On the territory of the Komsomolsk Park there are about forty species of shrubs and trees, about sixty species of grasses. There is also an artificial pond, which is fed by springs, and small bogs.

Nowadays, dot development is underway on the territory of the park. The territory of the park has been greatly reduced.

The Komsomolsky Park of Culture and Leisure is located in the Zarechensky district of Tula, at the northern entrance to the city from Moscow.

The park stretches along Oktyabrskaya Street (formerly Millionnaya) and adjoins the Klokovo airport, and the main alley leads to the airport (which has not been operating since 1993, but sometimes it hosts air shows or aerobatics championships).

About 40 species of trees and shrubs grow on the territory of the park of culture and recreation. Poplar, linden, maple, aspen, ash, pine, chestnut, viburnum, hawthorn and other plants provide shade in the summer heat and form cozy alleys. The park is quite well-groomed, trees are constantly cut, saplings are planted and flower beds are formed.

There is an artificial pond in the park area, which is replenished with water from the keys. There is a spring with clean drinking water next to the pond.

Since this small beautiful park is located far from the city center, it is visited mainly by residents of the surrounding neighborhoods.

The Komsomolsk Park has a modern playground with bright swings, slides and carousels. Children can draw with crayons on a special board in the form of houses, climb in a maze or go on a "trip" on a boat.

Several times a week, animators conduct a special program for children in Komsomolsk Park.

Sports activities in the park

In those Crimean cities that are not significant resorts, priority is now given to pragmatic construction - roads, power plants, airports, kindergartens and schools are being built. Recreation areas and aesthetic objects receive less attention. But this rule is not without exception. Komsomolsky park in Kerch is planned for reconstruction, which is already in full swing. And this is provided that the settlement already has a lot of worries with the bridge and "Tavrida".

Where is Komsomolsky Park on the map of Kerch

It is located in Vostochnaya Kerch, near the Kerch commercial sea port, kindergarten No. 6, shops "Lux", "Avoska" and "Products".

The history of the park: from the past to the present

Sights with names in honor of the "Komsomol" met literally in all settlements of the USSR. There are also many of them in Crimea, and there are Komsomolsk parks in a number of resorts, for example, in and. There is only one reason for this - the improvement of cultural leisure zones was considered a worthy manifestation of civic activity and the desire to be useful by young people.

And the Komsomol members worked, not out of fear, but out of conscience, often in their free time from other occupations and for free. They were rewarded by giving the created places Komsomol names. This is how the Kerch park appeared. It was founded in the 50s. XX century.

The square was unpretentious, with paths, flower beds and benches, without attractions and other entertainments. The paths were decorated with flowerpots and sculptures with a hint of antique style. But on its territory they built a Palace of Pioneers with various circles and sections and a large campfire site nearby. A monument to the Crimean Komsomol was erected on the central alley. Later, a memorial sign appeared here to the soldiers of the Taman division who took part in the battles for.

The main emphasis was on green spaces. In the park, one could simply hide from the exhausting heat of Taurida.

At the crossroads of becoming

After the collapse of the USSR, in Crimea, less intensively than in other corners, they got rid of the "remnants of the scoop." All the objects built under the Soviets remained with their names, and the state of the memorials of that era was also maintained at a tolerable level. But there was always not enough money for their full-fledged maintenance.

As you can see from the photo, the Komsomolsky Park in Kerch at the turn of the century preserved the paths and benches, and the monument to the Komsomol remained. The Palace of Pioneers turned into a Center for Children's Creativity, but it still worked. But the grass on the lawns was mowed from time to time, according to the same principle, trees were cut and flowers were planted in flower beds. The alleys were heavily overgrown with grass, stubbornly and effectively making its way between the slabs, small architectural forms were damaged or disappeared.

Someone from the local religious community found out that earlier on the territory there was a temple of St. Andrew the First-Called. The building was destroyed during the war - no one in the USSR began to spend money on its restoration (the church had no historical or artistic significance). After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the temple was "reconstructed", that is, a new one was built with the same name. More noticeable changes on the territory of the park did not take place for a long time.

But the residents of Kerch continued to come here - to sit in the shade, to let the kids ride along the paths on bicycles. Reviews on local resources said that the situation in the park is not awful yet, it can be even worse. Under the canopy of park trees, vacationers from the Turtle Beach were hiding from the midday sun - one of the. Neighborhood with natural shading, the ability to combine swimming in the sea with a picnic on the grass is not the last reason for its popularity. So it was obvious that the park should be preserved.

Reconstruction and visit to the park

In 2018, construction equipment appeared in the park, and at the entrance there were posters with information about the improvement project and the contractors. Funding came from the state budget. Earlier, at the beginning of the century, there was already a minor reconstruction.

The first position in the design included the most necessary work - replacing paving slabs and benches, arranging a normal toilet, installing lanterns, molding lawns, cutting out emergency trees. Irrigation systems will lead here. But the plans are more serious alterations.

In the Komsomolsk park, it was decided to preserve the maximum of green spaces. But between them there will be several sites for team sports games. Installation of attractions is planned. An amphitheater with a partially covered stage will be built on the former campfire site near the former House of Pioneers. It will still belong to young talents - pioneer bonfires are not in vogue now, and the amphitheater is suitable for concerts and various events. Monuments to Komsomol members and Taman fighters will remain and will be restored to their proper form.

But the main idea is to install an accurate model next to the main alley. This epic structure has already become the most important factor in Kerch life. The designers of the works in the park are sure that the photo with the model will become a must from Kerch.
