I would like to thank the maids for the excellent cleaning of the rooms, towels were changed daily, bed linen was changed twice a week, the cleaning was of high quality and at a convenient time for us. And in general, passing through the hotel, you constantly see how they rub and wash something. The interior of the hotel is no frills, the restaurant is on the ground floor, there are no panoramic windows and an open veranda. But we liked the assortment and quality of food, water and wine are included in lunch and dinner, which is rare in Europe.There are indeed queues for dinner, but we are in no hurry, and standing for a few minutes is not a question for me and not a reason to spoil the mood for myself and others. The restaurant staff is very friendly (although this can be said about all the hotel staff), they clean the tables very quickly, the administrator constantly walks around the room and strictly monitors the cleanliness and availability of dishes. The only caveat is instant coffee for breakfast, I think the hotel management needs to fix this point. The sea and the beach are also at a height, there are enough sun beds for everyone, yes, if you come later, they will be free away from the sea, but walking a few meters to the sea, in my opinion, is not a problem. Yes, the beach staff, indeed, occupy several sun loungers, either to acquaintances, or to rent for money, but since there were always free ones, this did not bother. I really liked the corner under the trees near the pool, where you could get over in the heat. There is practically no animation in the hotel, there was live music twice in the evening and that's it. Once I saw that a girl (probably an animator) was trying to dance with two small children near the pool, but somehow it didn't work out very well, and everyone quickly dispersed. The contingent of tourists at the hotel is mostly adults and with small children, probably not here, but everyone decides for himself. The location of the hotel in relation to transport accessibility is excellent, by bus you can travel along the entire coast of Montenegro. We took vouchers to Biblio-Globus, a representative of the company, Natalya, works at the hotel. He tells a lie about the excursions, campaigning to buy the most expensive ones, which include food and unnecessary stops, so read the brochure carefully and choose yourself. Many empty excursions are offered that do not give any information, such as going on a boat or a jeep and having lunch somewhere, some kind of kindergarten, you might think people haven’t seen boats and jeeps, although everyone has his own. one excursion, but this has nothing to do with the hotel. Hi everybody! My today's review will be about the Montenegrin TARA 4 * hotel. The hotel itself is located in the village of Becici (near Budva). We were there in August 2017.

We chose a hotel based on numerous reviews in Booking, Tripadvisor, etc. I wanted the hotel itself to be good, with a varied diet and close to the sea. At the same time, so that the price is not very high. It seems that TARA corresponded to everything.

We arrived with the operator Biblio Globus, placed us on the first floor (if we assume that the hall is the 0th floor, and there is also the 1st floor).

The hotel is not very large and inside is quite interesting. All floors are open: there is only one ceiling above the hall.

There are glass partitions in the corridors on the floors.

The room itself is small and not very comfortable, but everything you need was there. This is a bed, a table, two chairs, for some reason only one bedside table, a shoe cabinet, a large wardrobe, a full-length mirror, a TV, a telephone, and a small table. True, there was very little space between the bed and the table and it was uncomfortable to walk.

At first glance, the curtains on the window seemed to be dense, but alas, the very next morning we discovered that they were not. With the advent of the sun, we woke up every time. It also fired mercilessly and the air conditioner did not save (only in the morning, the rest of the time it worked well).

The room had a French balcony. I didn’t know what it meant before, it turned out that it was a balcony without a platform, in fact, only 15-20 centimeters and a railing. We knew in advance that there was no normal balcony in the room and did not get upset. If desired, it was still possible to stand on the balcony, and also hang out swimsuits to dry. The window opened a beautiful view of the mountains (however, this is not surprising - there are only mountains and the sea).

The bathroom is relatively spacious. The number of towels corresponded to the star rating of the hotel (had seen enough of "Revizorro").

Didn't like that the shower stall didn't close. With intensive washing, a lot of water got on the floor. Shampoo and shower gel were poured into the dispenser (probably so that guests would not carry bottles from the hotel).

Cleaned the room every day. In order not to do this early in the morning (they burst at us at 8 am), you need to hang up a sign asking "Do not disturb." Cleaning was mediocre, toilet paper was sometimes forgotten.

We had breakfasts and dinners (it's cheaper and you don't have to decide where to dine). The food selection was great. For breakfast it is: scrambled eggs, sausages, salads, cereals, fruits, vegetables, more cold drinks and coffee / tea. For dinner: meat, fish, poultry, soups, all kinds of side dishes, a corner with local cuisine (prosciutto, olives), a variety of salads, fruits, desserts and cold drinks (something like yupi with different flavors, water and wine - white and red ). At first we ate everything and a lot, but then we became picky and tried not to overeat at night.

It was possible to change dinners to lunches without any problems. If there was an early excursion, then with a warning at the reception the day before 8 pm, dry rations (a sandwich, a cake, a banana and a bottle of water) were given in the morning.

Near the hotel (right at the entrance from the beach) there is an olive tree, it is indicated that it is as much as 700 years old. There is a backlit flashlight inside the tree.

It takes about 5 minutes to walk to the beach, TARA has one of its own, with free umbrellas and sun loungers. The coast is with small pebbles, walking is not very comfortable, but bearable. The snorkelers said that there was a whole colony of hedgehogs two meters from the shore, so for the sake of safety it is better to swim in coral slippers. However, even without them we rested quite well and did not meet the hedgehogs.

The hotel has a small outdoor pool, we have never swam in it (either there were excursions, or the sea is nearby). There is practically no animation at the hotel: several times we saw children's dancing to cheerful music by the pool, that's all (but in the neighboring Iberostar, music thundered or sang karaoke in the evenings). On the 1st floor there is a table with table tennis (almost always occupied by children) and billiards.

The staff, with rare exceptions, is friendly. Wi-fi caught badly, but we did not come to sit on the Internet.

From the hotel it was possible to walk to the embankment of Budva in 25 minutes (of which 10 minutes through the tunnel) or to Rafailovichi (in the opposite direction).

Overall, the hotel made a positive impression. Suitable for a relaxing family holiday with children.
