Guest house on the m4 highway. M4 highway in the Voronezh region. Guest house "Like home"

.
Let's build a conversation like this: first, a small overview of the state of the road, information about gas stations. Then a story about hotels (hotels, motels) in Rostov-on-Don and Rostov region... Actually, this will become the main topic of the post, because for car travelers traveling to the south and back, the Rostov region is the most convenient region for overnight stays. Firstly, for many, this is the middle of the road, and secondly, the choice of inexpensive and good hotels here it is as good as anywhere else. We checked it on ourselves. Generally personal experience I will put this article as a basis - I will tell you briefly about several hotels, you will only have to choose.

Condition of the M4 highway in the Rostov region

The condition of the roadway in the Rostov region is generally satisfactory - there are very good sections, but there are also bad ones, a kind of "unexpected". You have to constantly be ready for the places where the asphalt is cut off, and, entering where, the car gets a decent blow. Here are some of the most typical photographs.
We enter the Rostov region (of course from the direction of Moscow).

there are some pretty good ones.

So they alternate.

There are even small areas equipped with such anti-glare screens, which are very convenient when driving at night.

But there are also many places where the asphalt is cut, and when driving at high speed, this is very disturbing.

Repair work creates traffic jams, which is also not encouraging.

The closer to Rostov, the worse the road gets,

and the movement is more and more intense. Trucks in this place generally behave unpredictably, they just throw themselves under the wheels of cars without any turn signals. In any case, we have experienced several absolutely inadequate antics of heavy truck drivers, and everything here is in front of Rostov.

As a result, in front of the city itself, we get into a tight traffic jam, where we see off the sunset. We already arrive at the hotel in complete darkness.

Beyond Rostov in the direction of Krasnodar Territory, the roads are good.

Refueling on M4 in the Rostov region

There are no problems with gas stations in the Rostov region in the sense that there are many of them. There is also good news - a Shell filling station (based on the former Bashneft) was opened behind Rostov (towards Moscow). And this is the first swallow. V All Bashneft gas stations in the region will soon change their name to Shell. The owner has entered into a licensing agreement with the most successful and well-known fuel company. In general, the knight's move is understandable. Selling gasoline under such a brand is unambiguously profitable. What kind of gasoline will these Shells have? Both the former, Bashneftevsky, and the new - V-Power and V-Power Racing (with a high octane number).

But the main gas stations in the region (in descending order of their number) are Lukoil (the market leader), TNK and Gazprom.

As I already wrote, basically all gas stations are paired - i.e. are located opposite each other on both sides of the track.

Hotels (hotels) on the M4 highway in the Rostov region

Where can you stay on the M4 highway for the night in the Rostov region? There are hotels in Ka, Millerovo, Shakhty, Novoshakhtinsk, pos. Krasny Kolos, Rostov-on-Don and other cities and towns, not to mention the numerous roadside motels along the way. The choice depends on taste and preference.

On our previous trips, we stayed at the Tourist House Hotel in Millerovo, at the Meridian-Yug Hotel in Krasniy Kolos, at the Visit Hotel in Rostov-on-Don. This year, two more Rostov hotels have been added to our "piggy bank" - "Don Major" and "Alpha". I will briefly go over the pros and cons of these and other hotels. So, 4 settlements and 11 hotels (hotels) on the M4 highway:

Millerovo

A few words about Millerovo in general. It is small (with a population of just over 36 thousand people), cozy town located close enough to the border with the Voronezh region and, accordingly, far from its regional center Rostov-on-Don - 219 km., 3 hours drive (at best). We always come here on our way back. We buy food at Pyaterochka, take a short break on the way. It is convenient - Millerovo is located not far from the Don highway and at the same time there is already a different, calm, life here, and not frantic "races" on the track. When there are many hundreds of kilometers ahead, this is sometimes necessary.

In Millerovo there are several inexpensive decent hotels - the Tourist House, 858 km. (the first right turn between 857 and 858 kilometers of the M4 highway, Millerovo) and Nadezhda (street of the 3rd International, 119). "858 km." - a budget option(from 900 rubles), "Nadezhda" - average prices (from 2200 rubles). Hotel reviews are good. These, of course, are not fashionable hotels, but they are not some kind of bedbugs, proven places.

Mines

Mine City Enough Big City in the Rostov region (population over 237 thousand people), slightly distant from the M4 highway. From Shakhty to Rostov 84 km., Which takes about 1.5 hours drive). There are several hotels of different levels, where you can stay on the way to the south and back, for example, "Triumph", Dio Lakrua, "Chalet", etc.

Flamingo Room (Comfort Junior Suite). Accommodation price - 2 700 rubles.

Alpha (address: Pravovaya Street, 78) - very simple rooms, but in terms of price and quality - class! Rooms 1300 rub. Breakfast (quite decent) is included in this price. For rest, sleep and breakfast, excellent hotel. Unless, of course, you are a pretentious person, an esthete. However, if you look at how many non-poor cars with Moscow and St. Petersburg numbers stop here, you will still experience a certain revaluation of values.
The hotel has its own small closed area, so that all cars are locked up. There is a very decent cafe "Park" in a 3-minute walk, so you won't be hungry. Inhabited at any time of the day or night. We drove in at 5 o'clock in the morning. Recommend!

"Eurasian Business Center" (address: Pluzhnaya str., 16). The hotel is located just 5 kilometers from the highway (it is convenient to call in both when driving to the south and back). Here you can relax in silence after a hard trip and gain strength for your onward journey. The hotel offers single, double, triple and quadruple rooms of different price categories. A baby cot in the room is available upon request (in the "Family" room there is + a fold-out sofa). Parking under video surveillance. Free internet throughout the territory. Meals are not included in the price. For an additional fee, you can have breakfast (from 100 rubles), have lunch or dinner in a cafe on the 2nd floor. Near the hotel there is a car service, an ATM, grocery stores.
When booking through My review, I will write about it later. I do not presume to recommend, decide for yourself. Prices from 2,000 rubles.

On Zelenaya (address: Mozhaiskaya street, 45/114) - the advantages include the hotel's convenient location relative to the M4 highway, clean rooms, new furniture and plumbing, and a modest but good breakfast. Cons - with all the common pluses, good equipment, and other things, the lack of any comfort, or something. But this is the specificity of many transit hotels. Prices from 2,000 rubles. There are family rooms for three people. The hotel can be highly recommended for an overnight stay.
Photos of the hotel "On Zelenaya" were taken by Anna Sadovskaya.

) and, moreover, having driven along it six times, it would be an omission not to make a selection of hotels where you can stay overnight. Below I will tell you about some of the hotels that will satisfy the requirement of those traveling on this highway. They all meet the requirements:

  • parking;
  • free cancellation option;
  • proximity to the track;
  • comfort corresponding to the declared price.

So, budget hotels on the M4 Don Highway - just the bare facts:

Hotels on the M4 highway - Moscow region

1.Hotel Yamskoy(Yam village, Pochtovaya st., 17, Domodedovo) - the very thing for a transit stop.

Pros - spacious rooms, free secure parking and a convenient location - right on the highway. The hotel is not far from Domodedovo airport on the M4 highway, so it is suitable not only for cars, but also for air travelers.

Cons - noisy when the windows are open (the hotel is next to the M4 highway), lack of an elevator and poorly working wi-fi. But is Wi-Fi really necessary if you need a hotel to "spend the night"? ... The question is controversial. The rating of the hotel, despite its "roadside" - 8.9

2. Another hotel on the M4 highway near the airport: Master Hotel Domodedovo(White Pillars, Shebantsevo St., 2a). Hotel on the fourth floor in a building with big amount shops.

Important - the hotel is on the 3rd floor without an elevator.

Plus - the rooms are quiet and spacious, the price is low for the Moscow region

Minus - public parking, lack of breakfasts (there is a pizzeria in the building).

Hotels on the M4 highway - Tula region

3. Motel Slavyansky(143 km of the M4 "Don" highway, Mordves village)

Pros - children under 7 years old (not occupying a separate bed) are checked in and out free of charge. Very accommodating staff, sometimes reducing the price due to the available sudden "force majeure" in the form of disconnected hot water. The comfort of the beds is noted by all guests.

Cons - public parking, no internet, poor soundproofing, toilet on the floor, not in the room (if you book a separate house, and not a room, then, of course, the toilet will be in personal use).

Conclusion - with a small child, I would not stay in this hotel because of the "corridor" toilet. Everything else is tolerant and unprincipled for me.

Hotels on the M4 highway - Voronezh region

4. Maximum Hotel(518 km of the M4 Don highway, Voronezh)

Pros - the hotel is located twenty meters from the M4 highway, the sound insulation is excellent.

Cons - the lack of a normal Wi-Fi.

Reviews about this hotel are controversial; so if you go on the M4 and need an overnight stay in Voronezh region- read it yourself and decide if this motel is right for you or not.

5. Grand Hotel (Pavlovsk, m-on Severny, 18 b)

Pros - the hotel is small, with 10 rooms. The rooms are very different, from simple to luxurious. Private parking and free Wi-Fi throughout the hotel. Furniture and plumbing are good.

Cons - the hotel is on the third floor of a multi-storey building, lack of breakfast. One of the guests complained about the lack of disposable slippers. In a roadside hotel? ...

Conclusion - we would love to stop. For a roadside hotel on the M4 - a great choice at a low price.

Hotels on the M4 highway - Rostov region

6. Hotel Eurasian Business Center(Rostov-on-Don, Puzhnaya str., 16)

Pros: The hotel is located next to the M4 highway and is convenient for stopping both towards the south and towards the north. One of the few hotels where you can more than comfortably spend the night with children. Parking under video surveillance (the need for parking is discussed at the time of booking).

Cons: not a very good Wi-Fi.

A comment: It is more profitable to book this hotel directly through the hotel website, as the hosts regularly place special offers.

7. Venetsia Resort(Kamensk-Shakhtinsky, Beregovaya st., 11)

Pros - good wifi, restaurant, pool

Cons - sleeping with an open window will be problematic - next to the railway bridge.

Conclusion - this hotel is equated to resort hotel... It is not clear how much this is needed for those who drive along the M4 Don highway and are just looking for a lodging for the night. But, if we were looking not only to "spend the night", but also to "rest", we would stop. The price for such a hotel is not high. The hotel is new, on Booking since January 2016.

8. Hotel Rodina(1076 km of the M-4 Don-2 highway, Dorozhny settlement, 10 km from Rostov-on-Don)

Pros - pets allowed, free private parking without prior reservation. Children under 12 years old stay at this hotel for free if they do not occupy a separate bed. 24-hour canteen

Cons - Not the best Wi-Fi.

Conclusion - the hotel is very conveniently located on the highway and is quite suitable for one overnight stay. We would definitely stop.

9. Hotel Terem(826 km of the M4 "Don" highway, Gray-Voronets,)

Pros - private parking without prior reservation. Children under 6 sleeping with you are free. On the territory there is a mini-zoo and a beach, breakfast is delicious, but very satisfying.

Cons - the declared wi-fi does not always work.

Conclusion - the quality is fully consistent with the stated price. One of the best places on the M4 highway, but not directly on it, so the noise of cars will not be heard when the windows are open. It is convenient to call in on both sides.

10.Hotel 858 kilometer(First Right turn between 857 and 858 km of the M4 “Don” highway, Millerovo)

Inexpensive and comfortable enough hotel.

Important - breakfasts for an additional fee (from 150 rubles)

Pros - the rooms have a refrigerator. Boiling water can be poured around the clock at the reception, and there is a playground in front of the hotel.

Cons - private parking, but it costs 100 rubles per day. Perhaps this is the only drawback of this hotel.

11.Hotel Triumph(993 km + 800m of the M4 Don highway)

Pros - free private parking without reservation, children are free if they are under 12 years old and they will sleep in your bed. The hotel is located next to the M4 motorway. But behind the fence, and there is no sense of the "track". Free sauna and swimming pool.

Cons - it's late tomorrow, from 8 am, which doesn't suit everyone. And almost all stopping people celebrate not the best job of the cleaning ladies. There is Wi-Fi, but it also leaves much to be desired. Payment only in cash. Not all rooms have windows and little space in the dining room (if everyone comes to breakfast at the same time, there will not be enough space).

Conclusion - the hotel is not for recreation, but in order to "spend the night and leave."

12.Hotel Dio Lakrua(Dachnaya st. 329, Shakhty, Russia)

More expensive than the previous hotel.

Pros - breakfast from 6 am (several options) is included in the price, you can stay with animals. There is a gas station near the hotel. It is not entirely clear if there is private or public parking, but it is guarded and free. There is a nice restaurant across the street.

Cons - follow from the pros. That is, music can play in the restaurant and it will be noisy with the window open.

13. Hotel Meridian-South(Akskaya District, Krasny Kolos, Mira Street 37, Krasny Kolos)

Pros - Children under six stay free in your bed. Children under four years old are free in any case. If the child needs a separate bed and is between 4 and 6 years old, you will have to pay 300 rubles. The hotel is right on the M4 motorway. Breakfast from 6:30.

Cons - underfloor heating. Given the fact that everyone is different and everyone needs a different temperature, it can feel hot in the room. There seems to be no other downside.

In general, the hotel has more than good feedback, for some reason, mostly winter. Like, "we went to the Elbrus region to ski, stopped and rested."

14. Guest House Dom(DNT "Trud" street 16, line uch. 1368, Krasny Sad, Russia)

18 kilometers from Rostov-on-Don. One of the cheapest and highly rated hotels. More precisely, this is not a hotel, but one of the few available for booking, a guest house on the M4 highway. Completely new, in the summer of 2015 it was just being completed. But, judging by the reviews, the construction does not interfere at all, everyone notes the convenience and hospitality of the owners.

Pros - EPO private parking ADVANCED. Children under 12 years old who do not occupy a separate bed are free.

Cons - no internet, but perhaps this is a temporary phenomenon.

Hotels on the M4 highway - Krasnodar Territory

15.Guest house(1196 km of the M4 Don highway, Pavlovskaya station)

Pros - children under 7 years old are free (using existing beds), you can try to negotiate accommodation with pets, parking with advance reservation.

Cons - poor breakfast and overpriced restaurant next to the hotel.

In general, the hotel justifies itself as a roadside hotel.

16. Mini-hotel Chizhik(Sovetskaya street 71, Krasny Partizan)

Pros: Judging by the reviews, the hotel is wonderful. Many people stop there several times.

Cons - payment only in cash. The price is slightly above average, but within reasonable limits.

And the last hotel as a bonus:

17. Guest House Kazachka(Rostov highway 21, Krasnodar)

Pros: quiet rooms, you can have a good rest, good wi-fi, delicious breakfast in the morning

Cons: there are problems with hot water, the rooms are not always well cleaned, the entrance is inconvenient. However, the hotel is quite suitable for "spending the night" and going further along the by no means simple M4 highway.

Have you picked up anything? Try to look for other options and the question of where to spend the night on the M4 highway will disappear:Where to look for unusual excursions?

Just in case, I'll tell you how we drove along the M4 highway, maybe someone will come in handy, a kind of report. So, the whole journey of 1500 km took us 3 days and on the way we still stopped by Divnogorie for a day, it is almost on the road. In principle, this path from Moscow to Gelendzhik / Sochi / Anapa can be covered in a day (18-25 hours), but I am not a fan of such long journeys in one sitting, especially at night and when there is no one to replace you, the risk is unjustified. Driving for 500 km is the most, the driver does not lose concentration. In addition, we perceived the trip as a journey, so there was nowhere to rush.

If you want to quickly and without stopping, then it is better by plane (via /), indeed, faster and at the same time much safer. Moreover, when it comes to a vacation of a couple of weeks, not so many things are needed with you; for a family of three, 3 suitcases of 20 kg should be enough. But here the owner is the master, whoever likes it. We went for a month, or even more, so we need a lot of junk with us and a car in place to move.

Brief impressions

Our route changed a bit towards the end. We decided to stop by Anapa to be on sandy beaches for several days, but in the end we got stuck here for rehabilitation, which we managed to fit into on the last day. Therefore, we will be in Anapa for another 3 weeks, and then we will move towards Gelendzhik in (if it does not get colder) and in Sochi. Well, that's if nothing changes again.

After our last such trip to Gelendzhik 2 years ago, I wrote a whole suffering post about. It's time to rewrite it. How difficult it was to go then, so much easier it was now. Everything is relative. Yes, Yegor still does not sleep in the car seat, but he can sit in it all day! If, of course, he is constantly throwing entertainment :) Still, he has become calmer and he can already be occupied with at least something, for example, the Lego constructor, which we bought right before the trip. And now it was necessary to stop for one day's sleep, and not for two. In general, I was very afraid of repeating the previous time, but it did not happen. It is more difficult to ride with a child than without him, but it is already quite possible and even for us. Especially if you go with overnight stays.

The most top impressions are still toilets with their parking lots and smoking trucks, in this regard, unfortunately, nothing has changed in 5 years. From a pleasant thing - the road has become better, and the open spaces around have not disappeared anywhere. But more on that below.

Route Moscow-Voronezh-Rostov-Anapa-Gelendzhik-Sochi

If you go with two nights, then the most optimal stops will be in the Voronezh region and in Rostov-on-Don. Thus, the path will be divided into 3 sections of 500 km each. On the one hand, these cities are full of housing on the same (the link is my detailed post about the service and $ 20 bonus), on the other hand, entering and leaving the city takes time, so to save it, it would be better to stay not in the city, but in roadside hotels.

Please note that in the city there is an opportunity to save money, since a normal apartment costs 1500-2000 rubles (I recommend an apartment), and a comparable hotel will cost twice as much.

Alternatively, plan a route with only one overnight stay, for example, leave Moscow in the afternoon, get to Voronezh in the evening, spend the night in front of him at the hotel, and from early morning move on straight to the sea. Or plan a single overnight stay in front of Rostov, where the highway passes through several settlements where there are motels and private accommodation.

Picky travelers can generally spend the night in a tent, anywhere along the way (in forest belts), and "truckers" can drive for 18-25 hours without rest or spending the night. I personally do not want to risk my family, so I try not to do long distances, as I get tired and lose concentration, especially at night. Yes, I could drive these 1,500 km in one sitting, but I don't see the point.

If the ultimate goal is Sochi, then driving through the Tuapse-Sochi section is not pleasant without a preliminary break, there are serpentines, traffic jams, and this segment can take a decent amount of time, 2-3 times more than usual (when compared with flat sections). Ideally, drive through it early or early in the morning, while there are still few cars, or at night. When I went to Sochi, then average speed 45 km / h came out, there were sections with one-way traffic (repairs), plus, although trucks are sometimes allowed to pass on uphills, in general, it was still impossible to go fast. Only closer to Sochi and after that normal speed. In settlements (and they are there) there is often a limit of 40 km / h, on the highway 70 km / h.

In Gelendzhik, I usually go through Dzhubga, I like it more, a calm road, but there is an option to go through Novorossiysk. It is better to go to Anapa, leaving the M4 highway after 100 kilometers after Rostov to the village of Kanevskaya, and then drive through Timashevsk, Slavyansk-on-Kuban, adhering to the Temryuk direction, but the road there is so-so. After Slavyansk it will be necessary to go to Anapa.

Travel time

As I wrote above, it all depends on how much you want to spend the night on the road and whether you want to at all. We went there together with our family, so we spent 2 nights, in the end the road took 3 days at a very relaxed pace.

Back I rode alone (the family flew away by plane) from Adler and to Moscow. I got there in 26 hours, of which I slept about 5 in the car. That is, the road itself took 21 hours. I think it's quite normal. Somewhere for 20-25 hours and it is worth counting, without taking into account long pauses for sleep.

Route M4

Stripes and coverage

On the way to the Black Sea, I already drove several times, hitchhiking there and back, and 3 times by car. The track is slowly but changing for the better. First of all, we almost made two lanes in each direction from Moscow to Goryachiy Klyuch. But, unfortunately, there are still sections with one lane. For example, in the Voronezh region near the villages of Losevo-Pavlovsk-Verkhniy Mamon, a section with a length of about 70 km. Moreover, there is no renovation, just a lane in each direction and there is no hint of expansion. And another piece is closer in Rostov obalsti. Also, repairs are underway in the Rostov region after Rostov-on-Don between the villages of Samarskoye and Kushchevskaya (a piece of about 40 km). Even in the Rostov region, the metal separator with an oncoming line periodically disappears, the markings disappear, irregularities, cracks and so on appear (it was already driving in the dark, completely uncomfortable), however, as in the Voronezh region. In fact, the best piece of the M4 is between Moscow and Voronezh, in theory it should be like this all along. Will wait:)

After Goryachiy Klyuch, one-lane traffic with a periodic lane for overtaking. She appears there quite often. From Dzhubga to Tuapse, there is about the same scheme, only a small serpentine and a third lane are quite rare. There is a concrete serpentine from Tuapse to Sochi and there is almost no possibility to overtake it. There is also one lane from Dzhubga to Gelejik, but there is almost no serpentine, so the section is passed quickly.

From Rostov to Anapa, there is a one-strip with a bunch of trucks and old KAMAZ trucks, and only after turning from the Temryuk highway to Anapa, they disappear. We tried to use the navigator to drive bypass roads (we were driving from Rostov to Azov and further to bypass cities), but there is a bad road in places, the distance is generally longer, but plus that there are few cars. Whether they won or not, I don’t know.

Fines and cameras

There are a lot of cameras along the road, so it's not a problem to run into a fine if you don't comply with the speed limit. But it is for the better, we will all be more alive. Everywhere I moved at a maximum speed of +15 to the permitted speed, that is, if 90 km / h is allowed, then I drove 115 km / h. Everywhere, except for paid sites, just such a restriction. On toll cars - 110 km / h and on one of them as much as 130 km / h (that is, you can go 145 km / h if you want to).

For the entire trip there and back, I received only one fine of 500 rubles. Somewhere in the Voronezh region I was driving instead of 83 km / h in locality... Strange, usually there I really slow down.

Paid plots

There are now eight paid sections on the M4. All of them are between Moska and Voronezh, but they plan to do more. Visually, they are almost indistinguishable from other sections of the track, I did not notice any serious differences. The permitted speed of 130 km / h was made only on one piece, 110 km / h on the rest, as well as on the rest of the M4 segment, which is positioned as a motorway.

At a price: 35-120 rubles per site, at night rates are cheaper. Moreover, at one of the sites you need to show the check again when you leave, so do not throw the checks away.

Rest en route and refueling

We mostly stayed at Lukoil, because there is a civil toilet, a minimarket, a playground and tables on the street for snacks. At least in the first half of M4, Lukoil gas stations are equipped just like that, then they go smaller and without such a set. On the map, just in case, I marked a very large Luikoil after Voronezh, where you can eat normally and stand in the shade. In previous Lukoils, cafes only had coffee / tea and buns, but here you can find dishes.

Lukoil is great - many gas stations have playgrounds and snack tables

Around the Russian open spaces ... In the background M4

The territory of this gas station was very large and many stood at its far end, where there is a shadow and benches with tables. So, in order not to go anywhere, the people immediately relieved themselves behind the partition, from which there was a wild stench, the heat. I was not even surprised by the laziness to walk 100 meters to the toilet, but the fact that the stench did not bother anyone, people there quietly sat and ate. Hmm.

If someone doesn't know, there are also parking lots along the way. But they are, to put it mildly, not very pleasant: a lot of garbage and toilets so filthy to death. Moreover, if the parking lot has some kind of infrastructure, for example, illegal cafes, then there is much more shit. Therefore, it is better to stop to rest, either at gas stations, or simply on the way in a forest belt, or in parking lots where there is no cafe. And also such a mini-life hack, if you still think about going to the red brick toilet, then you better do not go to it in the parking lot, go to bus stop, they are there too, but cleaner.

Other nuances

I noticed such a feature, the flow on the left lane goes somewhere 140-160 km / h, on the right - 80 km / h. Therefore, if you want to drive 100-120 km / h, then none of the lanes is suitable, you have to always rebuild from one to another. Inconvenient, however.

After Rostov-on-Don, I got sick of a single-lane road, but this is more relevant for those who go to Anapa, Temryuk, (Port Kavkaz), that is, leaves the M-4 to the right. We drove this last segment for a very long time, solid trucks (apparently they go just to Port Kavkaz). The trucks are killed, not only are you dragging 50-60 km / h after it, but also in clouds of smoke, no cabin filters will save you. What if I had asthma? And it's hard to overtake, the stream is continuous. First, they exceed the permitted load, loading goods 2-3 times more in weight, so that the car cannot crawl up the hill and is killed, and then they buy a state maintenance ticket, although this is no longer a car, but a steam locomotive, and they drive themselves further.

For some reason, Megafon catches pretty badly all over the road. You stop at a gas station so that Yegor can sleep and eat, you want to check your mail at the same time, post a photo, and the Internet is EDGE at best, that is, almost dead. In Rostov-on-Don, in the very center, exactly in the place where they rented an apartment, the same situation (the next day, a block drove off and it started working). On the road Timashevsk-Slavyansk-on-Kuban-Anapa H + almost did not appear. In Dzhemete (a village near Anapa), 3G and H + are also caught in places. I remember in 2011 I was with us, I was still taking notes on the way, drawing out the outline, since it was impossible to post anything, it's a pity that little has changed since then.

Radio is everywhere, to put it mildly, for an amateur, either Russian retro or chanson. You need to take CDs or a USB flash drive with you. And by the way, not every radio tape recorder will steadily pick up a signal at such distances from large cities.

Yandex Navigator takes the shortest route, even if it is a primer, there is no choice there "fast" or "short". And, if a navigator is not particularly needed for a trip on the M4 (there is nowhere to get lost there), then it is better to use normal navigators to inspect any surroundings off the highway. They all disappeared from me with a change of phone, I have to re-install it.

Video

A short sketch of what a toilet looks like on the most modern highway in Russia, on the M4.

P.S. When we get to Sochi, and then we go back, perhaps I will add something else.

P.P.S What application do you use for car navigation in Russia?
