Stayed at this hotel with my husband for 6 nights. To be honest, no trick was expected from such a network. We arrived late in the evening, at the reception we were told everything in detail about the hotel on an excellent English language, gave a diagram of the hotel, told about the mode of operation of everything in the hotel, they did not even forget about cards for towels. We were escorted to our room very politely. They took the improved room. It is small, but with a balcony. Very clean, although the bathroom is subdued. The bathtub is very old, all shabby, a worn-out shabby mixer. But there were two soaps, shower gel and body lotion. A few days later they brought us more shampoo and hair conditioner. It turns out that there was such a thing. The door from the cabinet under the sink was not secured and fell out all the time. There were two pairs of slippers, but we never saw the promised robes during our stay. Not really necessary, but since they are listed, so let them be. In the room there is a thick folder with a description of the services provided at the hotel. However, many of them are simply listed on paper. The lack of its own taxi service is very upsetting. Because bargaining on the streets is boring. And taxi drivers, having learned about the hotel, immediately throw in generously. At the reception they order a car for you, it seems that everyone calls some of their familiar taxi drivers, and the prices jump as everyone is spoiled))) We were told a different cost three times before the same place.
The price of our accommodation included free drinks: Minibar, water, tea / coffee. There was even a small box of cookies when we checked in. Despite the fact that there were two of us in the room, there was only one tea bag and one coffee bag. Having drunk them on the first evening (after having cast lots to see who what), we no longer observed the promised replenishment. Drinking water, however, was regularly. The minibar was also replenished not regularly, then one juice instead of two, then the cans of soda will not be delivered. One day it was not replenished at all. We were silent, it was repeated the next day. They called the reception about this, they told us literally: "This is a compliment from the hotel and you are not entitled to it today, we will replenish it tomorrow." For a 5 * hotel - complete nonsense.
We were spoiled in other countries with compliments on our birthday, in this hotel there is no such thing. Although, friends rested a little further from us, at the Hilton tree hotel, instead of standard room allocated almost presidential apartments.
But I was pleased with the cleaning. Early in the morning all the time. Moreover, regardless of the size and generally the presence of a tip. On the first morning we went to breakfast, we come - everything is perfectly cleaned. And they did not have time to leave a tip, they did not expect cleaning at 8:00. On the second morning we got up earlier, we come home from breakfast, he has already taken everything away from us and is already leaving. They quickly ran for the money and shoved it into him. So he was so happy. Then they left the money before breakfast.
About breakfast: a lot of vegetables, pastries, jams, eggs in all variations and even bacon (which, by the way, they don't know how to cook there), there are dried fruits, fruits, cereals, cheeses. On the first morning, it seemed that there was a lot of food, however, on the third day I caught myself thinking that I was taking the same thing, because I didn't really care for the rest. It turns out there is a choice, but there is not much to choose from. In the mornings, some people in a large company ate breakfast in the hall, whether managers, or someone even more important - I don't know. But they were allowed to smoke in the hall. It was complete nonsense, there weren't even ashtrays on the tables.
The beach is nice but small. If the hotel is densely populated, there will definitely not be enough space on it. And the flies are wildly annoying, they fly in thousands, they sit on you like on honey, thorny legs. And very annoying. In Israel, even at bus stops, special packages hang, they stick and settle in them, and in a 5 * hotel they thought of this only on the last day of our stay. Well, at least others were lucky.
There was a counter with daily news at the elevator, since there were not many Russians, news about Russia was not often posted, but sometimes we met.
On weekends, many locals come with their many wives and children - noise, din, fun, filled pools. By the way, there are two very decent heated swimming pools - it pleases.
But wi-fi is a quiet horror. Every 5 minutes you need to go to the hotel website again and enter your username and password. And the speed of the Internet is such that you can't even check your mail.
The hotel is far from 5 *, but it is quite suitable for a 7-day stay. If you are not confused by the disadvantages mentioned above, feel free to go there.

For a vacation in Aqaba, we chose a city hotel of the Moevenpick chain, which also has a hotel in the city. But despite the fact in which of them you will live, you can visit the beaches there and there. This is a big plus, because an excellent transfer is organized between them. We liked everything in the hotel: both the room and the territory. The territory has a lot of different decor and greenery, the rooms are clean, comfortable and very beautiful. Our room had a kitchen, two bedrooms and a living room. We had two balconies and another plus to all this - a panoramic window. The stocks in the refrigerator were replenished regularly, everything was always fresh and tasty. The beach is very close - across the road, and the path to it lies through incredible beautiful garden... There is a restaurant right on the shore, which also belongs to the hotel. It not only serves delicious food, but also offers stunning views.

I have long wanted to visit Jordan, it was very interesting to see Petra, plunge into the Red and Dead Sea, and now the dream has come true! We went with a friend in November 2017 and, in my opinion, the weather was just right for relaxation: at first it seems that it is cool (+25 degrees approximately), but for me it is ideal, since there is no such crazy heat. I must say right away that the country is safe, we went shopping and just walked in Aqaba in the evenings, everything is calm. The hotel was chosen one of the best - five stars. Our room had a balcony (this privilege is only available on the fourth, fifth and sixth floor, please consider this when booking). The room is well stocked, everything is conveniently arranged. There is a kettle, tea, coffee and sugar. In the bathroom - a full set of hygiene products, however, it was not replenished every day, but cleaning was daily. The hotel has a swimming pool, jacuzzi and sauna (the entrance to the sauna is only with a room key card). The hotel has a small private beach in a small bay, sheltered from the wind, the entrance to the sea is convenient, the water is very salty, holds well, you can swim for a long time without getting tired. There are sun loungers on the beach, there are enough of them, there are enough free for everyone! From the food we ordered only breakfast and dinner, and it's good that we didn't overpay, that was enough for us! Everything is very tasty, we were satisfied with the restaurant's cuisine! We also bought two excursions with lunch included, and we looked at everything we wanted! Wonderful country, excellent hotel, unforgettable vacation! I want to visit here again and I recommend Movenpick Resort & Residences.

I visited Aqaba for the first time. The hotel is very well located in the city center on the first line. The staff are friendly, I was quickly settled, given a bright, clean room with a balcony. The food is very good, there is a large selection of food, you can find food for children too. Within walking distance of the hotel there are several good restaurants serving local cuisine.
