What ferries go through the Kerch Strait. Kerch ferry crossing in the Crimea. Freight rates

I already told you in September 2014. 25 long, dreary hours ... it was dramatic, really. Therefore, the return journey - from the port "Crimea" to the port "Kavkaz" in 11.5 hours seemed to us quite fast. First, we were already ready for anything. Secondly, there was no overnight stay in the middle of a bare "field". Thirdly, the organization of the ferry at the port "Crimea" is many times better than the port "Kavkaz". Therefore, what was a whole story in the first case became just a long crossing, standing in a long line in the second.

For those who still do not know why there are queues at the crossing at allin the Kerch Strait I will immediately answer. In the absence of a bridge, the presence of a huge number of people who want to get to Crimea, and then from Crimea back, the presence of unfavorable weather conditions(storms) and poor organization of the process of transporting people and cars The Kerch ferry cannot cope. All this we had the honor to experience personally on ourselves.

How the events of this ferry crossing developed, I will tell you in today's article.

We got up long before checkout time at the hotel. At 6 o'clock in the morning we were already on our feet. At 7 - they already loaded things into the car and drove out. All the previous days, the sea was stormy, the ferries did not go. We drove into the unknown, hoping for the best. In fact, it's hard to travel like that, it's hard to be cut off from Big Earth living on an island. And nothing else. Going now, you need to be prepared for anything.

Along the highway Feodosia - Kerch at this hour, cars with numbers from various regions of our vast Motherland were already rushing at full speed. At this hour, of course, everyone was driving home to Russia.

.

For me, the whole Crimea is in this photo. Stunning natural beauty and strong abandoned infrastructure. But even this abandonment does not prevent me from admiring the beauty of the legendary peninsula.

I want to warn you right away. Themselves almost skipped the turn to the left, to the first drive - the old Kerch airport... We literally caught a glimpse of a small sign and managed to turn. There were cars that skipped and returned, and there were those who flew away into the distance. The road here is bad, in places just ugly. I read more than one story when people punched the wheels here, or even worse disfigured cars. Be careful.

The first drive - Kerch airport

We arrived at the first drive.

We got here from Koktebel in 1.5 hours.

Time 8.30. There are not many cars - on a huge field there are only two rows (I have already told you that cars are put in rows in drives, 10-12 cars in each row). Just before us, a batch of cars was sent to the second drive, the one next to the port, but not yet the port.

At the entrance to the drive, handwritten coupons are issued. Without such a ticket, you will then not be allowed into the second drive, and you will not buy ferry tickets.

We leave the car to warm up, go to the toilet, get some air. Literally before our very eyes, the number of cars grows many times over. How on time we arrived all the same!

This is how it looks old airport- airplanes,

fields, dried grass on them,

tents of the Ministry of Emergency Situations ...

Wreck...

Airport building.

We buy tea, samsa in the tent. Everything is hot and tasty. They ate without consequences.

The toilets are, of course, dirty. But there are no others. And you won't sit in the field. For men, okay, but for women, of course, in such toilets and such field conditions, "no ice" ... But this is the specificity of the Crimean ferry and not only the ferry. Don't expect comfort.

I understand that this is a shower. But at the end of September, no one was using the shower anymore. It was not hot.

We stood in the first sedimentation tank (accumulator) for a little more than an hour and a half. At 09.05 they unexpectedly released us further. It's good that we were near the car, we didn't go far. We jumped on the move and started.

It is not convenient to drive in a column along Kerch. Lots of traffic lights. Everyone is going fast. The road wobbles. There are no pointers around the city. You can’t come off. We were lucky, we managed to slip to the blinking green several times. Part of the column after us was constantly coming off, once it came off strongly. Judging by the fact that they were catching up with us for a long time, they had to stray.

We met such an electronic shield: "The queue for the ferry is formed at the storage area at the airport in Kerch"... Those. those who missed that unfortunate, imperceptible turn must come back. The loss of time is very significant.

The column rises in front of the second accumulator. In the drive, of course, you will not overclock. Yes, and coupons are checked.

The second drive is in front of the port

We enter the second drive.

There are a lot of cars here. All seats are taken.

How long did we travel from the first drive to the second? Not long, 35 minutes.

We stopped by. We got up. Another waiting period has begun. What to do in the ferry queue? Someone is asleep, someone is eating (and even overturns a glass, they saw it), someone communicates with comrades in the queue. To be honest, I haven’t seen those who are very worried, angry, tense in any drive on the crossing. Our man will endure everything.
Secondly m drive, we were in time the longest. What did we do? First, we bought ferry tickets. Secondly, we walked a little, went to the toilet. It was simply dangerous to leave the car for a long time. At any moment, the column could move, and you would not only stay there and hang for an indefinite time, but also leave people with you. Therefore, we "quietly went crazy" in the car - we read, played, took pictures, laughed. We were not particularly hungry. Well, if only the fruits - Crimean pears and grapes - are awesomely tasty!

Once again I will write what is the cost of a ferry through the Kerch Strait to Crimea and back for cars and people:

  • Car: 1190 or 1688 or 2486 rubles. ( depending on the length of the vehicle),
  • Adults (12 years and older): 162 rubles, children (6 to 12 years old): 81 rubles, kids (up to 6 years old): free.

Kostya climbs onto some low building to take a picture of what the drive looks like.

In general, this is a huge field on which cars are parked. As I have already noted, the organization of the crossing in the port "Crimea" is many times better than in the port "Kavkaz". Never once on the Crimean side did we stand "in the field" anywhere, without minimal conveniences. Everywhere there were no toilets, tents with food and water, souvenir stalls.

A piece of the sea - the Kerch Strait.

This is how we washed our hands with soap and water. Of course, there were also wet wipes. But they are not enough for the feeling of purity. Take water with you!

Having stood in the second drive for 5 hours (from 10.40 to 15.45), we set off to the third drive, i.e. to the port.

Information on the current weather on the electronic scoreboard. Northwest wind, 3-6 m / s. We've been tracking this very closely. But we were incredibly lucky that day - the weather was sunny, the wind was not strong. It was the first day without a storm in recent days.

Third storage - port "Crimea"

At the entrance to the port "Crimea" the cars are checked.

We occupy "our" row.

The clock is 17.03. At this point in time, we have been on the road for 10 hours, in the queue for the ferry - 8.5 hours. The expectations are palpable, but there is still movement. Ferries are running. Moreover, there are 3 large ferries running at once. This is very tangible.

To the question of whether or not it is worth going by car to Crimea with small children. No, it's better to fly. Even if you spend 10 hours with your children, it’s not easy. Be prepared to keep your child busy the entire time. But the worst part, you know what? The fact that you will never know in advance how long you will be idle. And the unknown is the worst. This time, it seemed to us that the movement was progressing, there were no long downtime. However, our way from Koktebel to Rostov-on-Don, where the hotel was booked for the night, was 22 hours... Ie, even in a good scenario, we got to the hotel by 5 o'clock in the morning. Answer yourself, are you ready for such sacrifices? Ready? Well let's go further.

When we stopped at the port, and it became clear the approximate time when we would be on the other side of the Kerch Strait, we began to book accommodation. Booked the Alpha Hotel in Rostov-on-Don straight from the car by phone using mobile application Booking.com. (My reviews about the hotel "Alpha" and).

As a result, we only stood in the drive in the port for a little over an hour.

We go to the ferry.

The Olympiada ferry was fully loaded by that moment, and we were sent on to the Crimea ferry.

And this is how trains are transported on ferries.

The ferry "Crimea" is much simpler and less comfortable than the Greek "Olympiada". He's some kind of cargo plan.

But what to sail, we did not care. Even the ferry "Crimea" is more interesting. At the Olympics we sailed here to Crimea.
We call in. We are sent to the upper platform. As it turns out later, it is better to be on the bottom. Those on the top leave the ferry later than the rest. Those. waiting for your turn to leave adds about 1 more hour of ferry pleasure.

We put the car down. We leave from it and go up the stairs to the passenger deck. Many are interested in - do they sit in the car while the ferry moves through the crossing... Only a few are sitting, the most wonderful. All normal people leave the cargo area. The air here is terrible, there is nothing to breathe at all. Some wonderful ones were even playing with small children in this hell.
Well, we got up and looked around. There is a buffet on the Crimea ferry where you can buy juices, coffee, rolls and more. There are also toilets.

But first we go to the deck. The last moments before sailing, I want to admire the Crimean coast, breathe in the Crimean air, watch the loading of the ferry, study the ferry. In general, a very interesting sight. We are also watching the process of departure of the Olympiada. On the way to Crimea, we are not for them to consider this ferry ate opportunities. But this time they did not miss anything.

Large ferries can hold some kind of carload. It's one thing to hear the number - 170 - 180. It's another thing to watch this "gang" come here for an hour.

There were few people on the decks. Tired, I guess. I didn't want any impressions. We sat inside the ship.

An electronic ferry ticket, as it turned out, is a very convenient thing, however, when you know exactly what date and what time you will be at the place in the port of Kavkaz, or if you go from the other side, then in the port of Crimea. At the end of July 2015, we went to Crimea through this strait, where a month of wonderful rest awaited us. We registered in advance on the official website of the state ferry so that you could buy e-ticket take the ferry from the comfort of your home. Read on how to buy a ticket and how to behave in port, with the latest changes from April 2017.

For a calm road and so as not to get stuck in traffic jams among other lovers of rest on the Black Sea, especially if you prefer to travel to Crimea on own car, I advise you to purchase an electronic ferry ticket through Kerch Strait... Likewise, the waiting time in the queue for the crossing to or from the Crimea can be significantly reduced, and nerves can be saved. For example, in August 2015 with EB, the waiting time in the port of Kavkaz did not exceed 5 hours (just enough to take a nap after the exhausting road). Those who did not bother buying an electronic ferry ticket in advance were forced to stand idle for 7-12 hours, depending on the time and date. And this I still do not take into account the force majeure with bad weather, which sometimes happen in Kerch. In 2016, the waiting time in the electronic queue was reduced to 1-2 hours. In the spring of 2017, people with e-tickets most often go directly to the ferry.

The funny thing is that to issue an electronic ticket through the Kerch Strait, you need to make a minimum of effort. After just two years, government developers were finally able to meet the challenge. Since then, the quality of the site has only grown. So, what needs to be done by going to the state ferry website:

This is done with the purchase of electronic tickets through the Kerch ferry, you can get behind the wheel and rush to meet the long-awaited vacation in Crimea.

What to do before arriving at the port of Kavkaz and in the port itself

  • First of all, follow the recommendations of the Gospar website and print e-ferry tickets... Business in the port will go much faster if you have paper copies on hand.
  • note that along with the car ticket, a diagram of the entrance to the port of Kavkaz will be printed. If you are on the crossing for the first time, then it may be useful
  • Following the scheme, drive up to the ferry worker and do not try to bypass the queue, the initial distribution is quick and in general order, with the only exception that you will receive a boarding pass and go to the electronic queue (which is much shorter) or immediately to the ferry.

How to behave in the port, very clearly dismantles the scheme that you get when you print a ticket for a car, for more details about the ferry, I advise you to read in the article: "" - where I described the most striking pros and cons summer vacation on the peninsula

Waiting time for boarding at the Kerch ferry.

With printouts of e-tickets for the ferry, we arrived at 4:30 in the morning at the Kerch ferry and passed without delay. It is better to arrive 1 hour before the start of the time slot or 2-3 hours before its end, because exactly by the time the bulk of the cars arrive, we, in principle, as we said, drove up to the port of Kavkaz at 4:30, and the slot was from 3:00 to 9:00 (again, the optimal one, in my opinion), we were already in the port of Crimea at 6 in the morning, that is, everything together with the ferry trip took an hour and a half. And that is because the ferry was loaded with the rest of the cars, when we called in, it was practically empty. If you are late for some time, you will be sent to stand in a common queue with free riders, so it is better not to be late.

Still very helpful advice with a choice of the day of the week for the ferry trip. Usually people take vacations starting from weekends and go to Crimea on Friday, Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Therefore, in the daytime on these days of the summer vacation week, there are a lot of people on the ferry. We arrived at the ferry on the night of Wednesday to Thursday and passed like the wind in a field.

Onsite actions related to the e-ticket at the port of Kavkaz.

Once again about the actions at the crossing. It is imperative to go to the first sedimentation tank, where a ferry ticket is issued. That is, stand behind the people who have driven up to you, regardless of whether they have an electronic ticket or not, and wait for a meeting with the ferryman in the booth, who will print out the necessary ferry coupons and send you to the desired stream for further waiting. If there is no queue with e-tickets, then you will be immediately directed to the second sedimentation tank, just before boarding the ferry, there are no expectations in the general queues. If you decide to immediately take the ferry without boarding tickets, then the police officers at the checkpoint located on the way to the ferry will not let you in, and they will not let you into the ferry itself, which will be very insulting

I will repeat, preferably printed e-tickets, tk. barcodes are read from them and boarding tickets are printed.

In the second and last sedimentation tank, you will need to stand if there is a line of cars or immediately, like us, they may be offered to take a ferry, because no one was already in the sump, everyone stopped by.

If you go directly to the second sedimentation tank, bypassing the first, and bypassing the ferry workers, then you will be turned around and sent back, so there is no need to rush, because the coupons for the ferry are printed in the first sedimentation tank.

Ferry behavior

After you have parked your car on the ferry and you see that the valet has lost interest in you, then feel free to close the car and go up to the top, where you can take a break, have a snack (if this ferry is from a cafe), or just chat on the ferry looking at and taking pictures of everything around. The ferry usually has a closed area where the cool morning breeze will not reach you, and you can take a nap there, especially if you got on the ferry first and have to wait for the full loading. By the way, being the first is also a plus - the ferry won't move anywhere without you, they won't go round you, so you can safely sleep until you get bored. Just kidding, of course, because a sleeping person will be quickly calculated and woken up, and rather rudely, because the ferry must run strictly according to the schedule.

It is forbidden to smoke on the ferry, according to the legislation of the Russian Federation, as well as according to the signs on the deck, but the clever people are still there. In principle, no fines are issued, because if you are too lazy to spend some time, it is quite possible to smoke quietly and imperceptibly. The same applies to alcohol, although in our country there is even a more loyal attitude towards it, and, although officially it is impossible, both the crew members and other passengers will turn a blind eye to another glass. The main thing is not to seduce the drivers.

For about 20 minutes the ferry goes through the strait, approaching the port of Crimea, the ferry will announce that it is necessary to prepare for the exit from it, so they will ask to return to the car. At this point, too, carefully, do not rush:

Take your time to start the car, because some levels are completely closed and you will poison yourself and others with carbon monoxide from the car. Therefore, we are waiting for the cars in front to start, and only then we start our own and leave the ferry. There were still a couple of dozen corpses missing.

All a happy journey and rest in Crimea, I hope you have already found a suitable hotel, if not, then you can easily do it right now:

Turned out to be a very interesting and helpful article. The whole family got together to relax and decided to take a ferry to see the surroundings and feel the waves hitting the ferry board. We ordered electronic tickets and saved a lot of time.

  1. The service, of course, is not bad, but there are some unpleasant nuances. Under Ukraine, it was quieter on the Kerch ferry and there were fewer queues, and there was no certain "bitterness". You need to look at everything objectively ...

    1. In Ukraine, or rather in 2013, my wife and I stood for 15 hours in a traffic jam on the ferry from Kerch to Krasnodar. At the same time, there are five people in different time offered to sell their seats for $ 100. One comrade tried to take us to help "to refuel". Well, how many wars were in this queue and how many attempts to climb in front of the sleeper ...

There was anger under Russia only in the first year, when the queue stood at 40 o'clock - this is a real nightmare! But since 2015, they have turned on the e-ticket program, built sedimentation tanks and rudeness on the ferry crossing has disappeared. The only time there was a decent queue after that (about 11 hours) was at the end of 2015 after two days of a storm, at the very end of August. Now the ferry service works incomparably better than in Ukraine. I check it several times a year with personal trips, and I keep track of information about the crossing during the season, since my friends and acquaintances constantly travel to and from Crimea.

  2. Thanks for the info, very helpful. We are just figuring out how to do and arrange everything correctly, so that later incidents with these tickets do not arise. Still, it is not so easy with these electronic tickets, there is some kind of fear to indicate something wrong.

    1. Good afternoon.
Unfortunately, on state resources, such problems are often encountered - somewhere, something has not been completed, etc. However, try the following:

      1. Re-enter all the data for registration on the site
      2. Carefully check the entered e-mail address (you need to enter everything, including the letters after the "@" sign, ie example [email protected])
      3. In your mail, check that messages from the state ferry do not end up in spam (perhaps you should specify another mail), make sure that mail comes to your mailbox at all
      4. You can try to create a new mail, in my case there were no problems with the domains: mail.ry, yandex.ru, gmail.com

Perhaps the registration failure is temporary.

        1. this also happens. It's like a public service website, kind of useful and good, but often problems arise. It's just that in-house state programmers don't try very hard, I know not by hearsay))))
          Have a good trip.

    1. In theory, you can. But:
      - as a rule, they ask for printed tickets
      - slots can get clogged and you will not have enough space, this is the point to purchase in advance
      - The time slot itself is not exact time, and the interval is 6 hours. Therefore, it is not difficult to plan it even on a long journey. I usually look at the travel time on the Yandex-map with traffic jams, add one hour stops for every 10-12 hours of the road and 15 minute stops every two to three hours (gas station, toilet, stretch). For example, Yandex says 19 hours from Moscow, which means I put +1 hour (long stops) + 2 hours (short) on the road, so I expect 22 hours to go. I leave 22 hours before my slot and am perfectly on time. Here and unforeseen events in the form of traffic jams and accidents (strangers) are taken into account.

Book in advance to distribute the load on the ferry crossing, which can significantly reduce waiting times

    1. Very strange. Maybe you are doing something wrong?

I just booked a trip for myself and my car, having previously unchecked the insurance box. The total amount to be paid is 1875 rubles, without insurance and the time for payment is several hours. Maybe it's not the insurance, but an empty field (for example, the make or model of the car)

Here's an excerpt from the rules:
"The conclusion of an insurance contract is not a prerequisite for the conclusion of a contract of carriage (purchase of a ticket)." If the problem persists try contacting the ferry office

  3. I read on the website that when purchasing electronic securities, they must send a ticket with a barcode. But I was sent in a regular SMS order numbers 6 pieces - as 2 people on a sedan and a round trip. Tell me if there is a mistake here and what to do with these order numbers

  4. I read on the website that they should send tickets with a barcode. They sent me an SMS with the number of orders (6 pieces), 2 people are going on a sedan. I paid immediately there and back by ferry. Tell me, is there any mistake in this or do I just need to provide these numbers on the ferry?

    1. Good afternoon.
Ticket numbers come to SMS - that's right.

And in your personal account on the state ferry website, you can see and print tickets. And if I'm not confused, then on email still the notification comes. In general, everything is correct - look for sh / k on the site of the "state ferry"

  5. Good evening, I carefully read all of the above, I really went to Crimea on June 15 and I am going on August 16, are there still queues? And the number of ferries has been increased, or is it still not enough?

    1. Good day, Elena.
Yes, there are queues, although not so catastrophic. There is a good application for the android "Crimea Ferry", there you can always see up-to-date information on queues. For today, the waiting time is 3-5 hours. As a rule, this is the time to travel without an electronic ticket. The number of ferries has increased over the past two years. The level of workers in the port service has also increased dramatically and the loading of ferries has become really fast. Frankly, 3-5 hours, this is much less time that used to be spent at the border. In general, the huge flow of tourists is to blame. The south of Russia is overcrowded and Crimea is no exception, now there are traffic jams on the peninsula due to narrow roads. The truth is, in the Krasnodar Territory, everything is much sadder. Now we are just traveling on it.

    good day
How many tickets did you need?
You can refuse extra tickets by submitting an application in advance before the start of the time slot, then the losses will be minimal. You will be refunded 100% of the ticket price minus the commission.

Please note that a separate ticket is created for each tourist, as well as for a car. Those. if you are traveling by car in four, then you must have 5 e-tickets

    1. Good afternoon, if you arrive at the port with a delay of no more than a day, then you will go by the ticket, but already in the general queue. Somewhere they read it in the rules. But it is better to try to arrive at least two hours before the end of the slot, this will greatly reduce the waiting time in the port.

  6. It seems that I read everything carefully, but did not find an answer to my question, tell me, please:
If I bought tickets for a car and for three people, but in the end the trip is canceled, can I refuse tickets and get my money back? I would be very grateful for your answer, as the question is rather urgent

    1. I myself did not deal with the return, so I did not write about it. Moreover, I see no reason to buy a ferry ticket much in advance. There is always a chance to buy two or three days before the trip. However, if you read the rules of transportation, you can easily see the following:
      1. If the refund is made 24 hours before the start of the slot, then the full amount is returned
If in less than 24 hours, then 75%
if after the beginning of the lower boundary then only 50%
      2. A refund fee is charged in the amount of:
30 rubles for a ticket price less than 300 rubles
10% of the ticket price for a price from 300 to 20,000 rubles
2,000 rubles for a ticket price above 20,000 rubles
      3. Refunds can be made in the electronic account on the official website

Well, as I thought, everything is even better - the electronic ticket is bearing fruit. Honestly, I was afraid that it would take a long time to go. How to cook at the border for hours while waiting for the lazy customs officers to inspect the car. And do not care about the children in the car and the old people, they just want to get their 500 rubles. It’s good that I don’t have to run into a nim on the ferry, I’m driving around my country, I don’t bother anyone. This is what my parents have dreamed of since my birth - to travel to Crimea without hryvnia. Thanks to Putin for this, and I say this in all seriousness.

    1. Nikolay, alas, not everyone is ready to understand that before at the border we stood idle for 9-12 hours, so taking a nap for 5 hours in the sump, waiting for our turn, is very much a good option... Also cheaper than a motel and safer than any curb.

    2. Nikolay, I just went on these ferries more than once and I know how it feels to be in a traffic jam for 10-20 hours. And the bridge, instead of being built, is only getting more expensive. And the prices in Crimea, have you seen them? The beer was 6 hryvnia, but now how much? And the tomatoes are 10 hryvnia per kilogram? In the dining room for 30 hryvnia a full lunch. And now, there is no food, but what they sell is so eyes on their foreheads climb

Good afternoon, tell me please, we wanted to go with the children to Crimea on Saturday, July 2, just next week the vacation starts, but the state ferry website for this date (for the afternoon) shows 100% loading and it is impossible to buy a ticket. Does it make sense to go without it?

  1. Daria, good afternoon.
Sorry to just notice the comment. I would not recommend traveling without an electronic ticket, especially with children (unless children qualify for a reduced fare), because the usual queue is very long. Better to choose another date where tickets are still available. Based on the practice of last year, I can say that when the slot is completely filled, the electronic queue does not last longer than 5-6 hours. By the way, I looked specifically. why don't you grab tickets for the morning of July 2nd?

    1. Now I checked the site's functionality - I was able to go to my personal account and see the old bookings. Try to go through another browser (for example FairFox, just make sure you have installed latest version). By the way, after confirming the payment, an SMS should come to the phone number under which you registered. The SMS must contain the e-ticket number. The number of SMS corresponds to the number of purchased e-tickets.

  • Recently we were in Golubitskaya and Kuchugury, and from there it is a stone's throw to the port of Kavkaz. And Maxim and I decided to call into the port to see with our own eyes what was going on there, how many people go to Crimea, how a single ticket to Crimea works, what are the queues for the crossing from the port of Caucasus and how much the whole ferry trip to Crimea costs.

Oddly enough, despite the promotion of recreation in Crimea, there is very little information on how to get there, how much and how much. I don’t know why. I correct the situation and write about what I saw.

How to get to the port of Caucasus

Everything is easy here - you go to Temryuk district, turn onto Golubitskaya, then go towards Peresyp, Kuchugur, then go to the village of Ilyich. And here is the port just behind Ilyich. You will see the sign “Port Kavkaz, Marine Station”. Turn off at the Marine Station.

The road to the Port of Caucasus

Drive past the stop control and a little bit is left to the port. On the way, we saw a lot of dry closets standing on the side of the road. I wondered what ... they are doing here. Maxim suggested that these are traces of the former queues to the ferry. People stood for 12 and 14 hours, and these toilets were installed for them.

    cars are in line

And here is the beginning of the line. Cars are standing quietly, and next to them are policemen. When asked how long it takes to queue for the ferry to Crimea, the police replied that it was 5-6 hours, no less. The drivers said that now you need to stand for 2-3 hours, no more. We did not check which of them was right - our plans did not include the standing of several hours in the port. One thing is clear - there is no longer such a wild line as in previous years. They say this is due to the fact that there are more ferries - at least four. We were told that loading on the ferry takes 30 minutes and unloading is the fastest in just 10 minutes.

We parked the car and walked to the marina. Passengers without cars calmly walked to the ticket offices and took tickets. The line was literally several people.

Ferry ticket prices to Crimea from Krasnodar Territory

The cost of a one-way ticket for one adult to Crimea by ferry

    • for an adult - 162 rubles,
    • children under 6 years old - free,
    • children from 6 to 12 years old - 81 rubles

If you go by car by ferry to Crimea, then in addition to tickets, you also need to pay for the car. The price depends on the length of the car.

    • For a car up to 4m 20 cm long, give 1190 rubles
    • if the car is from 4 m 21 cm to 5 m 10 cm long - the price is 1688 rubles

As for the ferry schedule, there is none. It all depends on the occupancy. A ferry arrives, cars and people are loaded into it, it departs, everyone is waiting for the next ferry. And so around the clock. There is no break, the port works both day and night. There is always a queue, and on weekdays and weekends, and at night and during the day.

About a single ticket to Crimea

I have already written about the purchase of a single ticket and its cost in the article "", so I will not repeat myself. I can only say that buses with stickers “ Carriage of passengers on a single ticket”There were many at the seaport, both large and small.

The guys in yellow vests organize people on a single ticket

Here is a video from the sea station about a single ticket

In general, everything is very organized there, which surprised me, to be honest. I expected to see irritated tired drivers, naughty children, noise, screams and hustle and bustle. In fact, there was peace and quiet all around. People who arrived from the Crimea with a single ticket were instantly distributed by the seaport employees to the buses, the rest evaporated quickly in all directions. There were many toilets, but the smell from them came the usual, stationary, so I did not go inside.

A bus with passengers on a single ticket went to Anapa

On the territory of the station there are several cafes, ATMs and a ticket office where you can buy bus tickets to Temryuk, Anapa or another city of the Kuban.

Bus timetable in the port of Kavkaz

My conclusion: go to Crimea from Krasnodar Territory on your own car or just as a passenger on a ferry you can. It is not that expensive. In any case, you will have to stand in line. A single ticket to Crimea is valid. There are many people who want to get to Crimea from the Krasnodar Territory.

Timetable - the timetable of ferries through the Kerch Strait

The ferry across the Kerch Strait works around the clock at any time. Port "Kavkaz" is served by cargo-passenger ferries, and a separate line has been allocated for the transportation of freight vehicles. The movement is carried out according to the schedule and is adjusted, depending on the intensity of the passenger traffic and the weather. Ferries arrive at the port "Crimea" 25–45 minutes after leaving the Chushka spit.

Deviations from the schedule occur when the meteorological conditions deteriorate. In a strong storm, the crossing is closed. After the resumption of its work, there may be changes in traffic due to the congestion of vehicles in the queue. Normal operation provides for an hourly interval between the departure of ferries from the mainland and from the Kerch port. The first one leaves at midnight. Between 1:00 and 5:30, when the flow of passengers is reduced, there is a break of 1.5 hours. During high season, the interval can be reduced to 30 minutes. Ferries are regularly sent for scheduled repairs and maintenance. During this period, changes in the schedule are also noted.

Schedule implementation depends on weather conditions.

    * Deviations from the schedule are possible during unfavorable weather conditions, as well as in the first days after the weather improves, if there is a large congestion of traffic.
