    Paying tribute to the fine English tradition, Four seasons Hotel Moscow invites everyone to spend time with their family for a pleasant conversation, evaluating delicious Italian cuisine in the cozy atmosphere of the hotel's restaurants. Now every Sunday from 12.00 to 17.00 in the Quadrum and Bystro restaurants, located on the second floor, guests will have a perfectly matched drinks list, live music and a special children's program.

    The Quadrum Italian restaurant overlooking the Kremlin and Manezhnaya Square offers a wide selection of a la minute pasta and a bar with hot snacks. A station with cold snacks will be located at the entrance to the restaurant.

    Guests can choose from three menu options: Deluxe non-alcoholic brunch - RUB 4900, Premier brunch with white, red and sparkling wines - RUB 6900. and a Four Seasons brunch with champagne, selected white and red wines and “cocktail of the day” - 9900 rubles.     Manager Toni Paese, who left the Armani empire to move to St. Petersburg, promises to create a relaxed atmosphere - as much as possible in such interiors. The music is recorded by the Perscriptive Music company, the waiters train to explain complex dishes, the team of chefs led by Valerio Andrisani is already talking with inspiration to the first guests. Separately, we can note the pricing policy, which is quite compatible with St. Petersburg life.
    Small - three pages - menu will tell you perfectly about events at the forefront of gastronomic achievements and the most textured products that chefs bring from Italy every day. All items in the crudi section are a finely-tuned mosaic of flavors that frame the main product: what is worth only Mediterranean red shrimp with crucian pepper emulsion and polenta chips. The pasta section sparkles with surprises like panceta-stuffed fagotini or pasta with Mediterranean algae, but not intimidating with complexity. In general, we must dress up and go - as soon as they open.

    Sintoho

    An Asian restaurant that will open in October is generally hard to live with at first sight.- so extraordinary restaurant wonders.     The Four Seasons, a luxury hotel in the mansion of Prince Lobanov-Rostovsky, built at the beginning of the 19th century according to the Montferrand project, has finally been completed behind the St. Isaac's Cathedral. The building is also known as the "House with Lions", and all this time, both the public and the descendants of the princely family itself closely watched its reconstruction. Behind the austere facade with monumental columns and famous sculptures of lions made of white Carrara marble, there are now rich interiors and four restaurants with cuisine from the Italian Andrea Accordi (the Onice restaurant of the Villa La Vedetta hotel in Florence and the Allegro restaurant in Hotel Four Seasons in Prague). The first two are already open to visitors here, with Asian Sintoho and Italian Percorso preparing to launch.

    Andrea Accordi provides overall management of all hotel projects, but each restaurant will have its own chef. At the Tea Room and the Xander bar, he is the only one - they are run by Ruslan Shipunov, who previously worked at miX in Saint-Petersburg.


    If you pass a couple of doormen at the entrance, and then walk straight through the hall, shining with gilding and mirrors, you find yourself in the "Tea Room". To the right is the fashionable Xander. The latter is named after Alexander I, who ruled the country during the construction of the mansion. The design was handled by the Sheryl Rowley company, which made the interiors of respectable hotels around the world. The walls are paneled with olive root panels, the floors are walnut, the shelves are filled with antique books. The furniture, however, is modern, made to order. In the Xander bar, in armchairs by the fireplace, people in good jackets smoke cigars, well-trained waiters stretched out next to them, and the menu includes Krug Vintage 1996 champagne for 42,000 rubles and beluga caviar (12,000 rubles for 28.4 grams, 42,000 for 113 gram). In addition to impressive numbers, almost 40 varieties of vodka and 12 types of champagne, cocktails (Xander Sidekar based on Hennessy VSOP - 1,020 rubles), and light snacks like scallop ceviche (720 rubles) and oysters (3 pieces of Fin de Claire - 750 rubles) ... The latter will be on the menu all year round; origin depends on the season, delivery on Mondays and Thursdays.

    Despite the difference in specialization, the approach to cuisine is the same everywhere. They rely on the quality of products, striving to use local products whenever possible. According to Andrea, it lacks variety, but some positions are very good: vegetables, chicken, rabbit, quail, crayfish and pike perch. Sturgeon and beluga caviar is brought from Astrakhan, salmon caviar from Sakhalin.

    The Tea Room looks more like a Mediterranean patio than a living room itself: there is a lot of greenery, white and cream finishes, instead of a ceiling - a heated glass roof so that the sky can be seen even in winter, regardless of the level of precipitation.

    For the Tea Room, Andrea Accordi compiled a laconic menu, where familiar names are supplemented with unexpected details. The focus on haute cuisine and sophistication is expressed not so much in the way of cooking as in the search for new flavor combinations. For example, carpaccio is made here from smoked venison with marinated foie gras in spices and with beetroot sauce (670 rubles), caramelized chicory and potato salad (720 rubles) are served with the Kiev cutlet (720 rubles), and "Caesar" is made with lobster, olive croutons and crispy chorizo ​​chips (1200 rubles).

    While Xander and the Tea Room can only be accessed through the hotel lobby, the other two projects will have a separate entrance from St. Isaac's Square and are positioned as “independent”. They are being designed by the Japanese company Design Studio SPIN, and the concepts, menus and launch dates are still pending approval.

    The chef's reputation and his two Michelin stars (given that he received one of them first in all of Eastern Europe) are very eloquent arguments in favor of the Four Seasons. At the same time, the prices here, though high, are not exorbitant - the restaurants in the "House with Lions" are available to a fairly wide audience. Probably, not everyone will feel comfortable in such a pompous interior, but the format itself does not patter itself - the hotel space is deliberately positioned as luxuriously aristocratic, and hardly anyone would even think to come here in sneakers. At least beauty is the first thing that guests describe in their impressions after a test visit. As for the surroundings, although it is located in the midst of the most elite hotels in St. Petersburg, Four Seasons does not repeat them in style - unlike the W-hotel, the interiors here are extremely classic, and, unlike Astoria, they are much more pompous.

    It is curious that the unusual was conceived in the design of the other two restaurants, and the interest in the kitchen is no less. In the meantime, I would like to think that Four Seasons will perform at its recognized world level and become for St. Petersburg another step in the development of the fine dining genre.
