Sasovskiy Aviation Technical College of Civil Aviation. Sasov Flight School of Civil Aviation named after G.A. ram. Kwwaul graduates receive

Sky. Its endless blue beckons and calls us. Poets write poems about him, artists paint pictures, romantics admire its mysterious beauty and endless depth for a long time, make wishes when they see a white stripe from an airplane. But there is a category of people who are in a special way in love with the sky, for whom it is a dream, life and work - these are pilots.

Which school to choose - military or civil?

Almost every boy in childhood dreams of becoming a pilot, but as they grow up, their views change, new preferences appear, and by the time they graduate from school, many children already know exactly what education and future profession they will choose. There remain a considerable part of those who have not betrayed their childhood dream, planning to devote their future to aviation, and enter the flight school after school. Natural questions arise before each of them:

  1. With which aviation to connect your life - military or civil?
  2. In which area are there more prospects for development and career growth?
  3. Which educational institution to choose for training?
  4. How to enroll in a flight school?
  5. What are the basic conditions for applicants?

The first is the choice between military and civil aviation. Each direction has its own advantages and certain disadvantages.

For those who have dreamed of blue shoulder straps all their lives, understands very well what "iron discipline" is and are ready to connect their lives with the army - it is worth choosing to enter a military flight school. It should be borne in mind that a military man is a person obeying an order, therefore, one must be prepared for constant changes of place of service and residence, as well as for the strict fulfillment of any task.

Another significant problem for future military pilots will be a large competition, because in Russia today there is only one educational institution of such specialization - the Krasnodar Higher Military Aviation School of Pilots named after Hero of the Soviet Union A.K. Serov. After graduation, graduates receive the rank of lieutenant and the qualification of a pilot according to the specification, as well as the civilian specialty of an aircraft operation engineer.

Where to apply for a pilot?

Enter the flight school to acquire the profession of a pilot civil aviation much easier, it can be done in one of the five operating in Russian Federation schools:

All of them provide free training, a high educational level and a pilot's specialty. Some schools provide an opportunity to get the coveted profession "Flight Operation of Aircraft" on a commercial basis. When choosing a school, the main determining factor is territorial affiliation- Applicants traditionally choose what is closer to home.

What is required for admission?

After determining the choice of an educational institution, questions arise: how to prepare for admission, what are the selection criteria, and what documents are required for this?

The main requirement for future pilots is health. They must be in excellent physical shape, have one hundred percent vision, a strong nervous system and resistance to stress. Moreover, if suddenly in the course of study the cadet's health condition deteriorates, he may be expelled.

Upon admission it is necessary:

  • provide medical certificates provided for by law;
  • pass a special medical examination at the educational institution itself;
  • pass an interview with psychologists to identify professional suitability;
  • pass the standards for physical fitness.

An applicant for a flight school must pass the following exam:

  • Russian language,
  • maths,
  • physics.

From the documents for admission, you must provide:

For military pilots, more stringent requirements are put forward than for civilians. They are provided for by special order No. 455 of the Russian Ministry of Defense, here is a short list of them:

  • one hundred percent vision and correct color perception;
  • blood pressure in the range of 105-130 to 60-80 mm Hg. Art .;
  • body weight with an index of at least 19;
  • growth within 160-186 cm;
  • leg length from 80 cm;
  • arm length from 76 cm;
  • in a sitting position, the growth should be within 80-97 cm.

As you can see, the requirements are quite strict not only to the state of health, but also to the physical parameters, which greatly complicates the admission to the military flight school.

What are the prospects for the graduate of the flight school?

After entering the flight school and its successful graduation, the cadets receive the coveted profession - "Flight Operation of Aircraft" or another, no less popular specialty - "Flight Operation Engineer". Both professions are prestigious and highly paid. Flight personnel enjoy a number of advantages:

  • provided with a full social package;
  • preferential (extended) vacation;
  • the possibility of early retirement;
  • big discounts for a family on air services.

Graduates of Russian flight schools enjoy the well-deserved respect of foreign airlines and they have every chance of getting a job abroad.

I started writing this post several times, but I could not finish it, and when I finished it, I took it and deleted it. It seemed to me so boring that, it seems to me, at that moment I realized that to write deeply informational posts, with numbers, facts and useful information- that's not mine. Therefore, for all the useful information, refer to the Internet, and I will write as best I can. Go.

I wanted to visit the Sasovo Flight School for a very long time. It’s impossible to count how many times I drove past the SASOVO sign on the way from Moscow to Ulyanovsk and back, and each time the steering wheel almost turned, but every time the thought cooled down: “Well, I’ll come, I’ll look from behind the fence, and then that they won't let you go anywhere anyway ". And with this thought I drove by.

But, as I already wrote on the pages of this magazine, now two guys are studying in Sasovo, who at the age of 30 decided to radically change their lives and still make the childhood dream come true, the dream of flying. And my LJ and I myself became some part of the catalyst for this venture. And when one of them suggested that I organize a visit to the school, I of course answered "Yes".

The approval process was long and difficult, because there were a lot of factors that should have been lined up in a sequential series. And then, and this, and the fifth, and the tenth ... But in the end the day was appointed, and after ordering myself two days off in a row, I went to bed waiting for tomorrow.

Tomorrow came very quickly - it was necessary to have time to get out of Moscow before morning traffic jams and had to get up at three in the morning. I "flew" to Ryazan imperceptibly, but at the bypass I had to knock about with trucks and the realization that Sasovo was not so close to the capital came exactly there, but once again breaking out onto the free road, this feeling left me, lemon steam of tea rose in the cup holder, toffee wrapper crunched in her hands, the speakers began to play in the voice of Bon Jovi:

Yeah, I will love you
Baby - Always
And I "ll be there forever and a day -
Always

And again everything was fine and the road ran merrily under the wheels again.

Soon the coveted pointer appeared and now I just go there! Danil met me at the checkpoint / travel card and having parked the car, we went to check in. The school provides good rooms for guests / parents of cadets, where I settled down. Unfortunately, I deleted the photo of the number, but he was quite sane, all the more so, I only needed to spend the night there, and he completed this mission 100%.

Our excursion started from the control tower (control tower). What is very good in Sasovo is that the airfield in literally is located behind the fence of the educational part. And, as it seems to me, airplanes flying outside the classroom window are the best motivation to study, even when something does not work out or does not give in and patience is at its limit. In the Ulyanovsk school, there is no such motivation, because the airfield is far away from the city. And it’s just convenient - the first change of flights starts early and in Ulyanovsk we had to add the time to get to the airfield.

This is the inscription that greets everyone who appears in front of the control tower door. ;)

There are no cadets flying today, but the arrival of L-410 from Krasny Kut is expected.

The tower offers good views of the airfield and aircraft

Let's go around the building from the other side

Well, now let's see how the cadets live.

This building bears the unofficial name "skull" and freshmen live here.

And this is how the first course lives. Barracks. In Ulyanovsk, conditions are less Spartan. In this regard, the girls - cadets are more fortunate, they initially live in a separate hostel.

Everything is army style.

There is one dryer for everyone, of course.

Senior courses move to more comfortable conditions. And the guys no longer live in a barracks with 100,500 people, but in rooms for 4-6 people. Let's walk to their place of deployment.

At the entrance we will be greeted by a bedside table. ;) Just kidding, of course, we will be greeted by the orderly, in our case he was just embarrassed to be photographed. ;)

And there is even a TV. Danil, smile! ;)

Well, here is the home of one of my two heroes.

Quite cozy.

Very correct words, and just in the theme of the whole atmosphere.

All your suspicions of PR are groundless. ;)

In my years as a cadet, I had no "Internet". Why is there the Internet, I didn't even have a computer.

Now let's look at where the cadets study.

The school bears the name of this great aviator.

Not all young people now know the smell of the library, but I know it well and remember it very well. ;)

Well, now the next step is the training complex.

Classes for theoretical training and passing tests in front of the simulator.

Place of a teacher-instructor.

Exercise machine Yak-18T. V this moment Since the time of the Yak-18, the school does not fly yet and the Cessna is used as an initial training aircraft.

This is already a serious type - L-410. Now the crew of the Orenburzhye airline is undergoing training here. Let's not bother them, they will finish soon and we will be back. And we will even fly.

Simulator training class on An-2.

Kaaaak? ;) Like? ;)

Instructor's place.

So, as I promised, let's return to the L-410 simulator.

Place of the instructor.

Ehhh, beauty!

I took off from the Ulyanovsk Tsentralny airfield and, having jumped the Volga, landed at Ulyanovsk Vostochny. Anticipating your questions, I will immediately answer: no steering wheel difficulties and trimming I have not tested the plane. This is an airplane, it flies itself (!). ;) All the help of the instructor, who was with us, consisted only in sounding the speeds at which the mechanization can be released and what speeds to withstand for the approach and for the flight along the route. These speeds are spelled out in the L-410 manual and I could not know them.

We landed, taxied, rolled around the airfield, looked at the drawing of details of the airfield, by the way, even the aviation museum, which is located at the airfield in Ulyanovsk, is partially drawn.

Now, according to all the rules of big aviation, we are changing roles and now the pilot is Danil and he is taking us back. ;)

Despite the fact that Danil has not yet flown at all, even on a Cessna, with our little tips, he landed and performed it quite well. There is a grip - it will fly!

Trainer Cessna.

The first half of the next day we spent in the dorm with the guys and chatted about this and that under pu-erh with jam.

Here they are the future captains of the aircraft! Well, except for the dog, of course! ;) Let's fly, guys!

Well, after lunch, with a feeling of complete satisfaction, I headed for Moscow. Fate gave me a whole day in which I was able to "become" a cadet again, breathe in the smell of books on aerodynamics and remember the taste of cadet borscht, and this, friends, is a very special atmosphere. Danya, thank you for that!

I honestly do not even know how to end this post. Let me put it this way: it was a little bit of happiness understood by a few, and these words will be the most correct. Thank you for the attention.

The library staff consists of qualified experienced workers who constantly improve their own professional skills and use the most advanced forms of work.

Sasov Civil Aviation Flight School is located in Ryazan region and is a secondary educational institution of the aviation profile. The school is a branch of the Ulyanovsk Institute of Civil Aviation.

In 1943, in the city of Isilkul, Omsk region, was founded summer school, where the initial training of pilots of the civil air fleet was carried out. The school was formed on the basis of Isilkul and Yanaul air squadrons with the involvement of flight personnel. In 1945 she was relocated to Sasovo. In 1949, for services to the Fatherland in the training of young pilots, Grigory Alekseevich Taran, his name was given to the Sasovo Civil Air Fleet Flight School.

The Soviet years became the heyday of the school. During this period, he was unofficially called "courtier" due to the fact that the SLU GA was located not far from Moscow. The high level of teaching made it possible to train qualified specialists who were appreciated throughout the country. In addition, the school actively trained foreign cadets.

The learning process was conducted on an extensive lineup aircraft and helicopters, allowing the release of diversified piloting specialists.

After the collapse of the Soviet Union, the school began a real decline. The aviation crisis during this period also affected educational institutions. Due to a lack of funding, there was an outflow of students, the number of which numbered only twenty people. There was a catastrophic shortage of fuel for refueling aircraft, as well as experienced instructors.

An important step towards the restoration of the school's former name was its merger with the Ulyanovsk Institute of Civil Aviation in 2009. Since then and up to the present time, SLU GA is its branch. In 2012, a new concrete runway was built at the school, and in 2014 the canteen building for cadets was reconstructed. Today SLU GA confidently increases the number of applicants every year and trains personnel on modern simulators.

Famous graduates of the Sasov Civil Aviation Flight School

For a long period of work of the school, highly qualified specialists have worked and studied here. Some of them became famous throughout the country for their courage and exploits related to their professional activities.

The pride of the school are the heroes of the Soviet Union: G.F. Bazhenov, participant of the Second World War, and I.A. Kashin. There are many heroes of Socialist Labor among the graduates: five former cadets of the SLU GA at one time were awarded this title. He graduated from the SLU GA and the hero of Russia, test pilot R.T. Yesayan. In addition, the hero of Azerbaijan Z.T. Yusifov, hero of Vietnam Tuan and holder of the Order of Labor Glory M.P. Kleschevnikov.

Arrears of the school for the flight aircraft is already more than four thousand hours. Over the past few months, inside the school, as well as in higher-standing organizations, such as the Federal Air Transport Agency, the Ministry of Transport, a huge number of meetings, meetings and discussions on this issue have been held, but so far there has been no full answer or decision on this issue. was received.

It is high time for this problem to be made public, since the authorities and people responsible for solving these issues do not want to take responsibility, although this is their direct responsibility. Representatives of the governing bodies only "shrug their shoulders" and shift the responsibility for resolving our issue onto other persons. In fact, the school is completely ready to resume flights, the aircraft are in excellent condition, but without the permission of higher authorities this is not possible, why no one really knows anything about why the permission has not been received.

If you are interested in this issue as material for reportage, tell me how to contact you further for a more complete disclosure of information and clarification of details, we have written only superficial information. "

Times go by, but nothing changes. In the 90s, the flight arrears reached 6 and even more (!) Years. This is not nothing good- practice should take place immediately (or in parallel) with theory, otherwise there is very little sense, especially given our stupid reality, in which, even in the absence of debts for departure, graduates still have to finish teaching what they should know as license holders.

If, after the end of the theoretical program, the cadets are dismissed to their homes for several years, and then assembled in order to “skate” the program “around the airfield” within three months ... Well they want at least to Aeroflot to begin with), then, gentlemen! What quality of pilots and flight safety can we talk about?
