I bought my tickets a little earlier, and took advantage of the sale for friends. I can only add to the disadvantages of WizzAir itself. I do not receive notifications that free check-in for the flight has begun. No matter how many conversations there are around UIA, they regularly send an invitation to go free online registration... But WizzAir does not do this on purpose in the hope that we will forget and have to fork out at the airport. For these purposes, I set myself a reminder. But it seems to me that this is not the case everywhere. For example, I received a notification on my Katowice-Kharkiv flight, but they do not come on flights departing from Kharkiv / Kiev.
By the way, there is a list of airports where you can check in for the flight for free on the spot. While at these airports it is not possible to register online:
- Dubai (flights to Budapest only);
- Corfu;
- Palma de Mallorca;
- Tirana (flights to Budapest only);
- Zaragoza;
- Moscow;
- Marrakech Menara Airport.
It is better to double-check anyway on the website or through mobile app this information before departure.
New products from Wizzair
In 2017, the airline announced 2 new flights from Ukraine- to Lisbon (Portugal) and Tallinn (Estonia). Flights on them began in April 2018.

Another novelty - tariff blocking for 48 hours! The tariff blocking service makes it possible to fix the selected tariff for 48 hours upon payment of a fee of 3 euros. You can redeem a ticket at any time within 48 hours without worrying that the price may change upward.
Now you can buy a ticket without specifying the passenger's name... When booking tickets, you need to indicate the name of only one passenger, and others can be indicated at least 3 hours before departure. This service costs 10 euros.
