Route network highway. New route network highway. Trade Union: "The goal of the reform is to subordinate the city hall's traffic flows"

On October 8, 2016, dozens of bus and trolleybus routes were changed. Some of them went on new routes, and some of the stops in the city center were renamed.
To make transport in the center more convenient, we have launched 3 types of routes: trunk, regional and social.

Trunk routes main and longest. They connect several districts of Moscow with the center and with each other at once, for example, Leninsky with Leningradsky Prospekt, Luzhniki and Semyonovskaya, Nagatinskaya and Polezhaevskaya. Movement interval: 5-10 minutes. These are the fastest and most frequent routes on the network.

District routes shorter ones: they connect districts with the center. They are easy to get to the main route or take short trip... Movement interval: 10-15 minutes.

Social routes help Moscow residents get to the My Documents centers, clinics, MFC and other socially significant places. Movement interval: up to 30 minutes.

The approach to the timetable has also changed: transport is switching to a clock timetable. Passengers will know, for example, that at peak times, the main bus from Tverskaya Street to Leninsky Prospekt runs every eight minutes. And if a person comes to the bus stop, and the bus door is closed in front of him, then in eight minutes the next one will arrive.

A new network is launched in Moscow in October land transport"Highway". New routes of buses, trolleybuses and trams pass through the center of Moscow and the main transport routes. In this article, we will explain why such a network is needed, who will it help and how to use it.

  • Public transport in the center will run 2 times more often. Average driving interval decreased from 16 to 8 minutes

  • + 39% increase in the number of rolling stock. More transport

  • 17 trunk routes connect the center of Moscow

  • + 43% increase in passenger traffic. More people will be able to use transport

  • 370 buses, trolleybuses and trams in the route network

  • + 75% increase in the number of residents within a 30-minute drive from Lubyanka. It is more convenient for residents of the center to go home

  • 103 new buses were purchased specifically for the project

  • + 117% increase in the number of employees within a 30-minute drive from Lubyanka. It is more convenient to travel to work by ground transport.

Why change something?

In general, we want public transport in Moscow to better meet the needs of passengers. Specifically, this network of routes is to make it easier for passengers to move in the center.

We want our passengers to be comfortable with their daily travel around Moscow, relying entirely on ground public transport. For example, so that you can come from your area to the center on business, move to another part of the center to meet with friends in a cafe, then return home - all using ground transportation.

To do this, transport must go quickly and often, be roomy and comfortable, and most importantly, travel where passengers need it. The launch of the Magistral route network is one of the steps towards this goal.

What's changing?

To make transport in the center more convenient, we are launching three types of routes: mainline, regional and social.

Trunk the routes are the main and the longest. They connect several districts of Moscow with the center and with each other at once, for example, Leninsky with Leningradsky Prospekt, Luzhniki and Semyonovskaya, Nagatinskaya and Polezhaevskaya. These routes are marked with a thick line on new scheme... The interval of movement is 5 - 10 minutes. These are the fastest and most frequent routes on the network.

District the routes are shorter: they connect the districts with the center. They are easy to get to the main route or take a short trip. The interval of movement is 10 - 15 minutes.

Social the routes help Moscow residents get to the My Documents centers, clinics, passport offices and other socially significant places. The interval of movement is up to 30 minutes.

The approach to the timetable has also changed: the transport is switching to a clock timetable. Passengers will know, for example, that at peak times, the main bus from Tverskaya Street to Leninsky Prospekt runs every eight minutes. And if a person comes to the bus stop, and the bus door is closed in front of him, then in eight minutes the next one will arrive.

What happened to the routes?

We have made the popular routes in the center mainline and straightened them to increase the speed and shorten the intervals. For example, trolleybus 62 from Udarnik along Leninsky Prospekt is now called M4, this is a mainline route with an interval of movement every four minutes.

At the same time, we are improving the traffic patterns of cars and land transport so that they do not interfere with each other.

In the area of Dolgorukovskaya and Barrikadnaya streets, there is now through traffic through the Garden Ring. Previously, buses lost 15 - 20 minutes to go to Sadovoe, turn around, drive back and continue along the route. Now this detour is not needed, the buses go straight.

What about night routes?

Night routes will also change slightly. n1, n2, n3, n4, n5 and n6 will be united by a single interchange hub on Slavyanskaya Square, near the Kitay-Gorod metro station. At night, these routes will converge on Slavyanskaya Square so that late passengers can change between them and go to the other end of the city. The driving intervals will remain the same - 30 minutes. The rest of the 24-hour routes will remain unchanged.

It's clear with the old ones. Are there any new routes?

One of the new routes is bus A from the square of three stations to Luzhniki. Now from the stations it is easy to get to the center, drive along the boulevards and go to Komsomolsky Prospekt. And you can go to Sapsan by bus.

But A is not quite new route... Since the beginning of the 20th century, Moscow has been tram route A, which cruised along the Boulevard Ring. The route changed many times, postponed and shortened until 1991, when it was closed. In 1997, the route was restored along the eastern part of the Boulevard Ring - from Kaluzhskaya to Clean ponds... Muscovites call this tram route "Annushka". The new main bus route A runs along the western part of the Boulevard Ring, continuing the traditions of the historical route of the last century.

Another example is the M1 route, which connects Leninsky and Leningradsky avenues through the center. You can sit on Tverskaya and in 15 minutes be near Gorky Park or drive further along Leninsky Prospekt and get off at Neskuchny Sad.

Previously, from the north along Tsvetnoy Boulevard it was possible to reach only Trubnaya Square, then the route was interrupted. If you had to get to Teatralnaya or Lubyanka, you had to take the metro. Now there is route 38: - from Rizhskaya to Neglinnaya, the Bolshoi Theater, Lubyanka and Kitay-gorod without transfers.

Finally, we restored traffic on Bolshaya Nikitskaya - see route m6 from Nagatinskaya to Polezhaevskaya. Some of the routes that are being launched now have not been in Moscow since the 1990s.

How to understand the new route numbering?

In the next few months, transport on the routes will run with two numbers - a new one and an old one.

Especially for the project, we have created new stop flags, maps and stencils on the bus. At first, the stencils will contain both old and new route numbers. At each stop in the center, there is a traffic diagram with all stops.

Why are new routes faster?

There are two reasons: there are more buses on the routes, and the routes themselves have straightened and almost completely switched to dedicated lanes.

More buses mean shorter intervals and less waiting at stops. The average interval of movement across the entire network is 8 minutes.

Buses and trolleybuses run faster thanks to dedicated lanes. And since routes no longer have inconvenient detour loops, passengers can get to the desired stop faster. For example, buses will now run along a dedicated lane along the central corridor around the Kremlin. Previously, due to one-way traffic, a trip around the Kremlin could take up to half an hour.

Are the stops new too?

Some yes. We are establishing 24 new stops in the center of Moscow, 12 of which are located in areas where public transport has not been running since the 90s.

We will also gradually replace old stops with new, more convenient ones.

Why ground transportation and not the metro?

The metro works great over long distances. If you need from Southwest to River Station, then the metro is the most quick way get there. The time of transfer, descent and ascent can be neglected.

But on short distances the metro is not so convenient: the descent, changes and ascent can take more than half of the journey time. The bus or trolleybus is slower than the metro, but over short distances you will get there faster and with less effort.

Another problem with metro in the center of Moscow is that the stations are too far apart. The average distance between our metro stations is 1600 meters. There are a lot of places in the center, the journey from the metro to which takes 15-20 minutes on foot. By the standards of modern transport systems, this is a long time.

For comparison, in Paris, the average distance between stations in the center is 400 meters. Still, there is a well-developed public transport network in the center of Paris.

On the diagram, the distance that a person can walk in five minutes from the metro is marked in blue. Anything gray requires a 10-20 minute walk:

The Magistral network will solve this problem due to the fact that stops are encountered on the way more often than metro stations, moreover, on both sides of the traffic. You don't have to walk far - just get off at the desired stop.
Finally, sights can be viewed from the window of the bus or trolleybus. You will appreciate it in spring, when the days will be longer, and trees will blossom on Tverskaya.

What buses will run?

We have purchased 103 new buses for the new routes of the Magistral network. These are comfortable modern buses with soft seats and air conditioning.

How to ride now?

The same as before: come to the bus stop, check the routes according to the scheme, wait 5-10 minutes and get on the bus or trolleybus of the desired route. It is all the same travel documents, as in other types of land transport, including the "Troika" card.

The main interchange hub of the main routes is Lubyanka. This means that you can get to almost any district of Moscow or any part of the center with one change at Lubyanka.

Why did you design such routes?

The working group of "Moscow Transport" was guided by three criteria:

1. High passenger traffic and density... Routes should go where people need them most: in densely populated areas and the business center.

2. Pedestrian accessibility... Stops should be within walking distance of a large number shopping, cultural and business centers. People who work in the area should be able to walk to the stop.

3. Linearity and symmetry... Routes should be as straight as possible, without loops or deviations. And the stops should be on both sides of the road, with the ability to cross the road somewhere nearby.

Who was in the working group?

To design these routes, we gathered everyone who is involved in transport in Moscow: representatives of departments, prefectures, urban planning institutes, activists, bloggers and urban experts, and also invited international experts with experience in the design of ground transport route networks.

Why didn't they ask me?

In fact, you were asked and you answered - not in words, but in deeds.

The routes were designed by specialists, but the passengers themselves provided the basis for each decision: how much and how people travel around Moscow was the main criterion by which we were guided.

We have collected a terabyte of data on the use of ground transport in Moscow:
statistics of landings and disembarkations, frequency and speed of movement, load on roads and interchange hubs. With the help of cellular data, we got an accurate picture of the movement of every bus and person in the center of Moscow. In total, we collected data from 30 sources.

In October 2016, we are launching the first line of routes. New routes, new stops and new buses will gradually appear. The last stage of the Magistral network will be launched in 2017. Gradually, along with the routes, we will improve road markings and launch dedicated lanes where they will help traffic.

What's the bottom line?

We expect that by 2017 more people will begin to use ground transport, and the ground transport itself will become reliable and simple: buses and trolleybuses will run at a predictable interval of 5-10 minutes, routes will be convenient, and the buses and trolleybuses themselves will be comfortable.

We measure the effectiveness of changes using isochrones - graphs that show how far you can go from a given point in 30 minutes:

I still have questions!

We will be happy to answer them. Send questions, suggestions and wishes for the development of the transport network at the reception of Moscow transport or by mail: [email protected]

New route network of transport in the city center. After decades of degradation and autocentric development of the city to the detriment of everyone else, it became possible to move quickly and predictably in the center by ground public transport.

As a result of the changes, there were many complaints: somewhere there were inconvenient transfers, buses with trams often got stuck in traffic jams, crowded together or did short flights etc. As a result, the buses went, but not as well as we would like. Here it is worth remembering the well-known principle "if you want everything at once, you get nothing and a little bit at a time." After decades of decline, it is impossible to do everything well at once, so the plan for the development of public transport was divided into stages.

This year, after the reconstruction of several dozen streets, new dedicated lanes, hubs, convenient stops, links and routes will be introduced. Starting from the end of this week, driving around Moscow without a car will become much easier - Magistral 2.0 will start working.

It was:

Became:

Highlighted stripes

Without real priority on the streets, buses and trams get stuck in traffic and lose their edge. As a result, the carrying capacity of the street decreases, and passengers make a choice in favor of cars - it is more comfortable to stay in a traffic jam in them. Muscovites have already appreciated what the city and transport look like without dedicated lanes - 10-point traffic jams and an overloaded metro five years ago are remembered by many.

Traffic jams do not allow creating an adequate timetable due to the huge spread of travel time - how to predict the intervals and rest of drivers when driving down the street can take from 5 to 45 minutes? Therefore, the effect of clumping appears - the buses one by one get stuck in a traffic jam, and then they go by train to the sludge area. In general, the carrying capacity of the route drops significantly and additional cars have to be produced to maintain the interval - as a result, public transport becomes more expensive.

It is important to create more than just chunks of dedicated lanes in the center or on the outskirts - solid corridors are needed to avoid disruptions. Public transport should and can have the advantages of the metro: high speed and predictability, but this cannot be done without priority.

There are many local mini-dedicated lanes at intersections on Sadovy, Barrikadnaya, Zhitnaya and other streets:

The most significant long sections will be: where the oncoming dedicated line was also returned, Mira Avenue, Solyanka, and the streets adjacent to Lubyanka and Slavyanskaya squares.

On the Boulevard Ring with curbs and local markings. Tram speed tripled at once. I think this is the breakthrough of the year!

Ligaments

Previous attempts to "save" Moscow from traffic jams have resulted in monster streets and wild re-runs for cars and public transport. No one likes to waste time on unnecessary circles, so people walk straight - a similar scheme works with public transport. Therefore, last year they made punctures on the Garden Ring and in other places - this year they continued to reduce re-runs.

Route m3 was taken away from the embankment near the Kremlin - now the bus immediately leaves for Borovitskaya Square from Volkhonka. Reducing the circle by several hundred meters will shorten the path of each passenger by… 30 minutes. Not bad, agree!

In the area of Belorusskaya through Tverskaya-Yamskaya, this is also a significant event.

At Paveletskaya, the buses made a circle of several kilometers to turn around on Serpukhovskaya Square. Now they will be able to turn towards the train station at the tram intersection!

In general, the Garden Ring will become more convenient - route B will be brought out of the tunnels and overpasses to the surface there. This will allow to make stops closer to the metro and other routes - get off the bus and immediately the metro lobby! But this is not the case everywhere - it was not possible to get the route only to Triumfalnaya Square and Novy Arbat.

Hubs

Route network architecture The highway is built on a transfer scheme. It turns out like in the metro: there are frequent main routes, and with the help of one change you can get to almost any point in the system. The most popular routes, however, remain direct. As a result, waiting times are reduced and the total travel time is reduced. This is without taking into account the simplification of the navigation system - it is easier to memorize 10-20 main routes than 80. Just imagine if a carriage went from each metro station to stations on other lines - there would be hell with orientation and waiting time for "your" train. The same story works with land transport.

With such a system, two important points: Time-based tickets without the need to pay for connecting and convenient hubs. There are no special problems with the first one in Moscow - season tickets are available, and the wallet can turn on the 90-minute mode automatically. But with transfers it was tight: sometimes it was necessary to walk several hundred meters with obstacles to the next stop. For example, on the routes T56 and T78, which now run to the Belorussky railway station with stops a kilometer from the station, the stops will be right on the square!

An important point that is often forgotten: all transport must work in a single system, so you cannot put bus stops far from the metro or electric trains. For many years in Moscow, under the yoke of the guests of the brain, stops drove away from metro stations and each other - as a result, today everything has to be returned to its place.

Key hubs this year:

With a new tram terminal, express and bus stops right outside the station in one place.

Serpukhovskaya square with the output of route B to the metro and main buses.

Lubyanka with stops in both directions right at the exit from the metro.

Slavyanskaya square. This will be the central hub of the city - almost all main routes will go here, and at night all night routes are transplanted here with the function of waiting for each other.

A tremendous work was done here: they created 5 platforms at the exit from the metro, including at the expense of the guest parking lot of the Presidential Administration. To the next bus in literally you will need to walk only 5 meters. In the future, there will also be a bike rental station here.

Beauty! modular, which allows you to adjust the pavilion for different conditions without increasing the cost of work. The only difference is that built-in monitors have appeared here:

But the pavilions above the entrances to the metro are new - there were no such pavilions before:

Here, for the first time, we used navigation for hubs with stop numbering:

New routes

New dedicated lanes and connections made it possible to organize new routes and change old ones:

m2 will connect Fili and Novy Arbat with Mira and Rizhskaya ave. - on the metro, this requires two changes, and due to the new allocated lanes, this will become faster by bus.

m27 - a new route along m2 and m7. Now passengers will be able to travel from Ryazansky Prospekt to Victory Park, along Nizhegorodskaya, Solyanka, Novy Arbat and Kutuzovsky Prospekt.

144k - a shortened express train on Leninsky Prospekt.

216 - the route will travel along the Savvinskaya, Rostovskaya and Smolenskaya embankments, where previously there was basically no public transport.

m3 will travel along Volkhonka in both directions due to the new exit to Borovitskaya Square.

Express m7 - the route will go along Ryazansky Prospekt to the 138th quarter of Vykhina through the Ryazansky Prospekt metro station.

m8 will be extended to the new final stop "Dangauerkovka" in the Aviamotornaya area.

m9 is now walking along the new dedicated lane on Sretenka in both directions. Previously, he had to drive along Myasnitskaya because of the one-way Sretenka.

Express 903 from Yaroslavskoe highway will go to Koltsevaya.

It became much better, even 5 years ago it was scary to dream of such a thing. It is clear that they have not yet managed to finish everything in terms of markings, pavilions and other things (although they promise to be in time for launch), but now we need to look further, because there is no limit to improvements.

There are still areas in the city center where public transport does not travel well. Dedicated lanes are needed on the Tverskaya, Garden and Boulevard rings. On the Kremlin ring it would be good to make a two-way dedicated passage to improve transfers and speed up traffic. At a minimum, this will allow you to drive during the FSO overlaps.

It is necessary to continue developing the tram - without an extension to Sakharovka

The most ambitious change in the route scheme of ground transport in the center of Moscow in several decades is scheduled for October 8, 2016. According to the information of the Moscow Mayor's Office, it is from this day that new dedicated lanes for public transport will be introduced, new route numbers will appear, and their intervals and waiting times at stops - will be reduced.

Operation "Highway"

Like any notable phenomenon of recent years, the new route network received its code designation - "Magistral". The essence of the concept is the formation of a network of frequent routes along the main directions outgoing from the center. Basic intervals for such routes are laid down in the timetables at the level of five to ten minutes. On less stressful directions, there will be "regional" routes that can actually go through at least half of the city's territory. Their frequency will be maintained at the level of 10-15 minutes. Routes that have been assigned the “social” status will have an interval of up to half an hour. And the night routes, as before, will operate with a stroke of 30 minutes. To explain to passengers the meaning and advantages of the new route network, a special section has been created on the official website of Moscow. Schemes of the new route network have already appeared at some city stops.

Is the crisis over?

As transport gradually left the center, site already told in. The time has come for public transport to at least partially regain its former positions.

"M" instead of "C"

The new number sequence for routes will start with the index " m"(" Um-small "), indicating the main routes. According to the developers new network, such indexing will allow passengers to quickly recognize that such a route operates with the maximum frequency of movement, and the intervals of movement do not exceed five to ten minutes.

The buses with the index “ c»At the end - the new numbering will do without these letters, although the routes themselves will be preserved with some changes.

Night route numbers, as before, will start with the index " N". And their common meeting place in the center will move from Lubyanskaya Square to Slavyanskaya, to the southern lobby of Kitay-Gorod metro station.

New stops

New stops will also work for the rethought public transport routes. However, in the last century, most of them worked. In fact, now they are only restoring a part of 52 stops lost in a quarter of a century. Again, 25 "public transport access points" will work for passengers:

Losses in the new network

The introduction of a new route network in the center did not go without canceling some stops (there will not be a single public transport route on them), as well as breaking direct connections.

In particular, residents of the "island" (the area between the Moskva River and the Vodootvodny Canal) are already concerned. The only route that passed the island almost the entire length - № 6 - from now on it will only be crossed across. And the connection between Sadovnicheskaya and Kosmodamianskaya embankments with Bolotnaya Square and many central streets will be cut off.

If we take as a basis as a noteworthy thesis of the designers of the new network that one-way communications are not stable and do not form their own passenger traffic (for example, on a trolleybus № 1 before it was possible to get from Tverskaya or 1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya streets to the Boulevard Ring, but it was impossible to get back, since the route back ran through the Kremlin Ring), then with this criterion there is a loss of direct connections.

The connection of the entire “island” with the Arbat Gate square has been lost. In direct and reverse directions bus route № 6 here they walked along perpendicular streets, but the distance between opposite stops was only 380 m. Outside the center, the connection between the “island” and the districts of Krasnaya Presnya and Horoshevskoye Highway was lost.

Rebuilding the route No. T2- successor to the trolleybus route № 2 , this time under No. m2- to Kitay-gorod, at the same time they removed it from the highway Boulevard ring and Prechistenskaya embankment. Meanwhile, from the metro area "Kropotkinskaya" for almost two decades (from December 1, 1998, when the trolleybus route № 44 ) there was a two-way direct connection with Novy Arbat and Kutuzovsky Prospekt.

Along the already mentioned route No. T1(former trolleybus № 1 ), also for decades, communication was established between the distant part of Tverskaya Street, 1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street and the beginning of Leningradsky Prospekt with Bolshaya Polyanka and the Danilovsky district.

Stops without routes will remain:

  • "Cinema" Udarnik "" on the Sofiyskaya embankment;
  • Metro Kitay-Gorod on Kitaygorodsky passage;
  • "Metro" Kropotkinskaya "" on Volkhonka street towards Borovitskaya square;
  • Bolshoi Kamenny Bridge on Prechistenskaya Embankment;
  • "Prechistenskaya embankment" on Prechistenskaya embankment.

If these stops that have become unused at this stage are now demarcated for the sake of parking lots or other needs, additional efforts will have to be made to restore them in the future. For example, now Kitaygorodsky proezd borders on the construction site of the Zaryadye park, and the passenger traffic here is small. But already in 2017-2018 this place will become crowded again.

Once again, the information campaign about the new route network came out crumpled. In fact, it began with the publication of the section on the official website of Moscow 4 days before the announced changes.

And again, Moscow decided not to comply with the "Rules for the carriage of passengers and baggage ..." (Decree of the Government of the Russian Federation of February 14, 2009 No. 112), prescribing that information on changing the schedule should be communicated to passengers on time no later than 10 days before the date of change of schedules.

In addition, the launch itself on the scheduled date is given with great difficulty. For example, two days before the launch of the Magistral, traffic lights at the intersection of the Garden Ring with Dolgorukovskaya and Malaya Dmitrovka streets were completely absent.

In this situation, it would be optimal either to start informing passengers about the launch of routes earlier than October 4, or to postpone the launch for the next weekend - for example, October 15.

Why so many renames?

The introduction of a new route scheme is accompanied by the renaming of a number of routes and stops.

It is not clear why it was necessary to rename the stops Alexandrovsky Sad Metro into Lenin Biblioteka Metro Station, Lubyanskaya Ploshchad into Lubyanka Metro Station, and Trubnaya Square (on Tsvetnoy Boulevard) into Metro Trubnaya. The new names reflect the names of the main objects of the area no better than the old ones.

There is more logic in renaming the stop “Central Telegraph” to “Metro Okhotny Ryad”. The reconstruction stop has been moved closer to the metro. "Street Balchug" on Sofiyskaya embankment began to be called "Sofiyskaya embankment" - inherited from the route № 158 inherited from the route № 6 the stop has a "namesake" in the form of the previous stop on the route № 158 on the Bolotnaya embankment.

The renaming of the stops Trubnaya Ploschad on Petrovsky Boulevard towards Pushkinskaya Square and Petrovskie Vorota in the same direction towards Trubnaya Ploschad into Petrovsky Boulevard is successful, since they are located opposite each other in the middle of the boulevard.

The name of the stop "Nikitskie Vorota - TASS" on Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street has been simplified. It began to be called simply "Nikitsky Gate". The stop on Volkhonka "Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts", on the contrary, was complicated to "Metro" Kropotkinskaya "- Pushkin Museum of Fine Arts".

It is also unclear whether the name of the stops “Metro Mayakovskaya” instead of the former “Triumfalnaya Square” on the Garden Ring, Tverskaya Street, 1st Tverskaya-Yamskaya Street and in Oruzheyny Lane will be more informative for passengers.

Many routes have also been renamed. At the same time, the mention of foreign experts in the presentation article of the project rather indicates that some aspects of the project were not very successfully copied from somewhere.

In particular, the English “translation” of the concept “High-frequency routes” displayed on the new colorful plates is much closer to the essence. Indeed, these are rather high frequency routes than trunk routes. For real main routes, traffic sections with one traffic lane in each direction, as well as the final ones, such as "Silicate Plant" or "4th Cable Street", look strange.

The translation of "Specialized routes" is also not literal, which suggests that the term was chosen unsuccessfully.

In the “Local routes” category, the translation is close in meaning to the original, however, this category defines routes that pass through the territory of several metropolitan districts, for example, connecting Luzhniki and VDNKh No. T15, or the Nagatinsky backwater and the mouth of the Yauza № 156 .

And the declared intervals of movement, as the first acquaintances with the timetables show, do not fully correspond to reality. Route No. м6 on weekends, more than once every 12 minutes is not planned, although the category of trunk lines provides for a "plug" of 5-10 minutes. There would be no contradictions if the route № 6 with its terminus in the industrial zone and a narrow section along Bolshaya Nikitskaya Street, they would not forcibly declare the main one. The same applies to the trolleybus route that does not meet the requirements of the mainline. No. м8... Its intervals on weekends reach even 30 minutes. The old one would be more suitable for him № 45 .

Further more

It is planned to continue saturating the central streets with public transport in 2017-2018. Several radial routes can be combined to form diametrical ones. And the main "highlight" of the new network should be the extension of the dead-end "boulevard" tram line along Akademika Sakharov Avenue to join the existing line in the area of Komsomolskaya Square. But first, in order to complete what has already been promised, it is necessary to restore the movement of trolleybuses along the routes №№ B-black, B-red, 3, 10, 39, 47 and 79 .
