To Cologne by car
Very good option is travel by car. In my opinion, this is the fastest option, because you can get to the capital of the Netherlands in a few hours, and on European highways it is a pleasure.

The Autobahn is in good condition, one might even say in perfect condition. If you pay, then German roads are mostly free, at least the autobahn on which you will be driving is definitely free. However, in Germany there are paid so-called ecological zones, which in most cases are located near the entrance to big cities... Do not worry, you will notice such zones immediately, there are signs everywhere. The fare for such zones is up to 15 euros. On the Autobahn, the recommended speed is up to 130 km / h, but there is no certainty, you can even accelerate to 180 km / h, but be careful.
