More ▾ A secluded place for couples rather than children. Firstly, there is no entertainment for them, and in the hotel everything is in the stairs, although an elevator is provided for going down to the beach. But the hotel is quiet and calm. There are no strangers on the beach. But the price tag for everything is overpriced, whether it's for a restaurant or for a massage. It took about fifteen minutes to get to Patong from the hotel by car and about an hour from the airport. The hotel has a shop with small items, beach puffs and the like. But souvenirs and shopping is more profitable to do in the center. Russian-speaking staff works at the reception. And in general, you can easily explain yourself to the hotel staff even without knowing English. Nice kind people. They will always help no one to ignore you at any request. Immediately upon arrival at the hotel, I advise you to familiarize yourself with the ebb and flow schedule. In order to properly plan your vacation. The beach is very clean, not like in Patong, but it has a very pronounced low tide. To the depth will be far and on slippery stones. You still can't sit on the beach all day, and if you plan your time on the beach and at low tide, you can do something else. Be sure to bring your sunscreen and towels will be provided free of charge at the reception. As for food, we didn’t plan to stay in the hotel all the time and took only breakfasts. Sometimes we dined at the hotel, the cost is a little more expensive than in the center, but the restaurant is open until late in the evening, which is very convenient and the food is delicious. Well, of course, after dinner, you can immediately go to your room. Breakfasts at the hotel are good hearty with good choice... Well, it's like for breakfast and like for Thailand) Every day, five or six types of fruits. Sliced sausages soup in general I will not list everything. In the hotel restaurant you can also dine or walk in an inexpensive cafe nearby. But the hotel restaurant is better in terms of setting. They also take them to Patong for free on a schedule, of course, the schedule is not ideal, but they take them just to the shopping center, which is convenient. They can organize an additional flight for a surcharge, but it's easier to take a taxi. In principle, we were looking for just a quiet hotel with a normal beach and pool. And at least minimal entertainment program... She is here) On weekends, live music, movies are shown in the open air. Disco once a week. And they arranged karaoke. We watched a good fire show. In general, there was a minimum. I liked the room too. Large light. Everything you need is in the room. Cleaned up very well. I recommend the hotel for a relaxing holiday without children, although it will also be nice with them if you do not need children's entertainment.

Tri Trang Hotel Beach Resort located in the Kathu area, close to Patong and Kathu Beach. By booking a room at Tri Hotel Trang Beach Resort, you can enjoy the best beaches of the island. The price for using sun loungers and umbrellas on the beach does not exceed 200 baht per day. It is also a five-minute drive from here to Jang Ceylon Shopping Center, from where you can get to the famous Bangla Road at night. V mall there is a bowling alley, a cinema with 3D films. There are also many beauty salons in Jang Ceylon where you can have your feet exfoliated with exotic fish. As a rule, prices for such a procedure do not exceed 300 baht per person. In the evening in shopping mall there is a night club Famous. There are several cafes on the ground floor, including those that offer Russian and European cuisine in their menu. Also on the territory of the center is the popular Big Sea hypermarket. In total, the territory of Jang Ceylon is over 20,000 meters. Not far from the Tri Trang Beach Resort is one of the largest viewing platforms on the island of Kata-Karon. You can come here by car or motorbike, which can be rented for only 200-300 baht per day, taking into account a full tank of gasoline. Also worth a visit is Kathu Falls, the surroundings of which are well equipped for family vacation... Booking hotels in the Kathu area will be a good solution for almost every tourist. This part of the island has the most the best beaches and a calm atmosphere of exotic carelessness. But all nightlife can be enjoyed in nearby Patong, where there are many nightclubs, bars, show restaurants and cafes.

Rested at the hotel from 18.07. until 07/30/19 The hotel is on the seashore, about 3.5 km from Patong. Walking because of the very hilly terrain is quite problematic. There is a bus from the hotel - 2 times a day for free (at 9.30 and 15.00), additional flights for 50 TNV per person (at 12.00 and 17.30) to the Jangceilon shopping center. Return - from the shopping center at 12.30, 15.00 and 18.00). Taxi and tuk-tuk require 300 TNV in one direction (you can bargain for 200). The beach is sandy, quite clean, but the ebb and flow are very pronounced. Init is impossible to swim at low tide - shallow. Ideal for families with small children. We lived in a Superior room with a sea view. Large room - 35 m, spacious bathroom with shower, no bath, large balcony with good view... Cleaned daily with a change of linen (left 20 TNV for tea). The room has a safe, hairdryer, umbrella, TV, minibar. Complimentary water, tea, coffee - replenished daily. The staff is friendly, friendly, there is a Russian girl not a receptionist. You can ask for an iron, an ironing board - they did not pick it up from us until we left. The hotel has a massage parlor, prices are about the same as Patong. Cons: monotonous breakfasts. There are a couple of cafes near the hotel, but prices are quite high there. The air conditioner was constantly running in the room. Due to the remoteness from the hangout places, it is advisable to have your own vehicle(there is a motorbike rental at the hotel). In my opinion, 4 * does not pull, but solid 3 *.

I give a solid four to this hotel. Because went in the off-season, then we were recommended Tri Trang beach due to the lack of big waves... This moment met our expectations. The beach is really nice and you could swim in peace. Also the hotel has a very good location. And to the bustling Patong is relatively close, and there is no noise in the hotel from the same Patong. By the way, there is free transport from the hotel to Patong several times a day, which is also a big plus. There are also complaints about the staffdid not arise. If there were requests, they were fulfilled quite quickly, although of course without much enthusiasm on the face)) There are no complaints about cleaning either, it's pretty good for Thailand. The breakfasts are also quite good, there was always something to choose from. Albeit without any special frills. Nice and large rooms with TV. Fairly neat furniture. The room has everything you need for comfortable rest... And most importantly, a large and comfortable bed. There is a massage on site, very high quality, we liked it. Of course, there is not enough entertainment in the hotel. When it got bored we took one-day excursions. By the way, for several years in a row we have been taking tours from the same guys from the Avitip company, the organization and attitude towards the client is always at the height, and the price tag is the most adequate compared to others. We especially like the guide Elena. Here is her contact +66958566736, maybe someone will come in handy. There is nothing special to single out from the unpleasant moments. In general, everything is very worthy, I recommend it.

We were in this hotel in December 2017 (I don’t know why the application doesn’t allow us to choose 2017) and realized that we would come back here from time to time! Now I don’t remember how long it took to get from the airport to the hotel, because at that moment it didn’t matter to me at all) but about 40 minutes, probably for sure. Well, the hotel is not large, not a large area, but this is only a plus, since there is no huge number of tourists. The hotel is located away from Patong, from the everlasting traffic, therefore, for those who want to relax in silence, it is 100% suitable. Moreover, if there is a desire to hang out, then there is a taxi, tuk-tuk or bike rental, if you know how to drive. At the hotel we only had breakfasts. The choice is not huge, but quite decent: fruits, cereals, pastries, jams, eggs in different versions, water, coffee, tea, juices. In general, there is something to choose from and you will not be hungry. The room overlooked the bay itself and this, of course, is a gorgeous view, it is worth its surcharge (originally from Moscow I paid extra for a room with a view). The room is spacious and clean. Everything worked and there were no complaints. Upon request, they brought an ironing board and took an iron away, only when they put it near the door, until that moment no one touched it. Cleaning every day and high quality. All the scattered things were neatly folded. Yes, we left a small tip, but it was not at all a pity. The bathroom has a standard set - shampoo, shower gel, soap and a bottle of water. There are also small bottles of water in the room, which were replenished or refilled daily. The staff does not speak Russian very much, but understands Russian quite well, so it was not difficult to explain your request. There are 2 ATMs on the territory of the hotel, so if necessary, you can withdraw money if necessary. Within walking distance from the hotel there is a grocery store with everything you need: water, food, cosmetics, cigarettes, alcohol. In the hotel restaurant à la carte you can order dishes of both Asian and European cuisine, there is also a section for a children's menu, but I cannot tell you how wide the range of choice is. There is also a bike rental on the territory of the hotel, the price is too high relative to those who are just on the street, but not critical. I caught the Internet in the room, so there were no problems, but personally we bought a SIM card from the beginning, so that we could be with the Internet everywhere and not be tied to wi-fi. The sea is here with ebb and flow, so you won't be able to swim especially in the morning, but by about 11 o'clock the water arrives and you can swim at least all night! I'll end with where I started - this is the hotel to which I will return on every visit to Phuket!

Were in this hotel in transit on the way to Koh Samui. We arrived early in the morning in a group. Someone on vacation in this hotel, someone only for a day, like us. Those who came specifically to Tri Trang were settled immediately, given a card for breakfast, and we were told to come up at 14-00. Naturally without breakfast. After the night flight, we were very tired, but there was nothing to do. They began to look for the luggage room. We were not provided with any information as there is no Russian-speaking staff at the hotel. Wobbler in the end worn out andsweaty somehow changed clothes and went to the beach to freshen up. Imagine our surprise when we did not see a single sun lounger near the sea! For a 4 *, this is strange to say the least. The only plus is that there is no strong wave. The hotel itself is located on a hill, from here there are many steep steps. The number was eventually given in building 4, the first on the hill. The number is not bad. Opened but the electricity didn't turn on. I had to stomp at the reception again, explaining something. Something was pasted on the card and everything worked out. In the evening we went to dinner outside the hotel territory up the hill and to the right. Some kind of cafe. Almost the only one in the neighboring district. They cook well, but the prices are not small. There is no civilization in the district. In the afternoon we still managed to go to the city. The hotel provides free transfer... What we were driven on looks more like a cattle truck. Something without doors, with benches along the windows and fans instead of an air conditioner! We drove back in an open truck with metal crossbars on the sides. Breakfasts. I would say scarce. Have a snack and nothing more. On another site there are more detailed ebb tides from Sergey and Igor. I completely agree with them. The hotel is not recommended.

Tri Trang Beach is a small, secluded spot located to the south, about 700 meters long. The second name of the beach is Emerald Beach, in honor of the bay of the same name on Phuket Island.

A few years ago, only people knew about this beach. locals they spent time here under the shade a large number trees, having picnics. "Tri Trang" means "crystal clear", and sometimes Thais call this beach "Tri Tra", which translates as "emerald". Apparently, the locals could not decide which name is better.

Currently, this once almost wild place has been captured by civilization. The beach has become more popular and visited, but random people are still not often found there, mostly hotel vacationers.

Entering the water, depth and waves

The beach is clean, the water is azure and clear, the entrance to the water is sandy and gentle, great for families with small children. Although if you move further away, then there are already stones in the water.

An unpleasant feature of Tri Tranga is strong ebb tides, at this time the water leaves very far from the shore, exposing the rocky bottom, then all that remains is to walk along the shore, collecting shells and enjoy the silence.

The northern (right) part of the beach is more suitable for swimming. At high tide, the sandy bottom is enough to swim with pleasure, and since the beach area is protected by the cape from the winds, if there are waves, then only "children".

Sun beds and shade

The entrance to the beach is free for everyone, rest there is suitable for those who want to escape from the hustle and bustle, noise and obsessive service promoted tourist places... The sandy strip is quite wide, sun loungers with umbrellas cost a maximum of two rows, rent costs 100 baht, but if you wish, you can sit right on the sand.

Beach photo

Infrastructure

There are massage parlors, bars and restaurants on the beach, you can also ride a scooter, kayak, "banana", go snorkeling, and if you want noisy nightlife, then just 5 minutes by car is Patong, where there is no shortage of entertainment establishments ...

Homes and hotels on the beach

There are hotels on the beach, mainly in the part of the beach that is closer to Patong. These are mostly low-priced multi-storey resorts with a pool and a good view from the rooftop terrace. Such, for example, or a little simpler Aersa Paradise.

A small stylish and modern one stands out against their background, with creative designer interiors that play up the marine theme.

Be sure to check for discounts or specials on the excellent service. He will quickly and easily show you discounts in all existing booking systems. In Asia, for example, there are a lot of offers on Agoda.com, which are much more profitable than in the same hotels in the Booking.com system.

If you want to book a hotel here in advance or look for accommodation on other beaches, I have with good rating and reviews.

How to find the beach

There are two ways to find this beach. The first option is the road leading to the Tri Trang Beach Hotel, where there is parking for cars, as well as paid showers and toilets. The second is a passage through a hole in the fence, in this case a huge old tree, which was carefully surrounded by a fence, can serve as a reference point. It is more convenient, of course, to use the first civilized way.

Walking road to take no more than 20 minutes. Well, this is if we are talking about the beginning of Patong, because then you can walk along Patong itself for another 40 minutes.
