Bus route network. How the routes will change. Launching dedicated lanes

Route network "Magistral".

In order to optimize the work and comfort of passenger movement in the central part of Moscow, a new route network was launched, which was named "Magistral".

Introduced several new, dedicated lanes land transport, which allows to reduce travel time and waiting time, some districts of the city are connected to the center, transport accessibility of various social facilities - clinics, passport offices, pension funds, etc. is facilitated.

The routes are divided into three categories: main, regional and social.

Trunk routes are the main, the longest. Their task is to connect different districts of Moscow and the city center with each other. These routes are the fastest and most frequent. The interval of movement is the smallest - 5-10 minutes.

Regional routes are shorter, and the interval of movement is a little less frequent - 10-15 minutes. Their task is to connect the districts with the center. Designed for short trips, and in order to get to the transfer to the main route.

Social routes are varied in length, the interval of movement is up to 30 minutes. The task of the social route is the comfort and convenience of passengers on the way to socially significant objects.

The route schedule is carried out according to the clock schedule. The convenience of the takt schedule is that vehicles come to the bus stop at regular intervals (depending on the time of day).

The numbering of routes has also been changed, letter and digital numbers have appeared, but in the next few months, for the convenience of passengers on transport, both the old and the new number will be indicated.

Some routes were straightened, supplemented by crossings.

There are also changes in the operation of night routes. Routes Н1, Н2, Н3, Н4, Н5, Н6 converge at a single interchange hub, which is located not far from the Kitay-Gorod metro station, on Slavyanskaya Square. Connecting different routes on Slavyanskaya Square helps passengers to get to the desired area of the city at late hours of the day. Route intervals are 30 minutes.

Several decades later, ground transport returns to Bolshaya Nikitskaya and Sadovnicheskaya streets.

The historical route A, along the Boulevard Ring, has been revived.

Route following route A on the map:

The new route numbering goes in a row, from top to bottom and counterclockwise.

New numbering with the letter M and the route along the route on the map.

You can also plan a route manually, armed with a map, pencil and ruler. But if you find yourself on the route planner page, then another, often more convenient option- online route planning, one of which is offered to you on our site.

There are two types of routing: manual and automatic.

  • With manual routing, you plot a series of points on the map that form an arbitrary route.
  • With automatic compilation, you need to specify the start and end points, and our service will lay out optimal route, calculating the shortest path taking into account the rules road traffic and the traffic situation at the moment.

On the compiled route, you will see all highways and nearby intersections, which will be very useful for motorists and travelers. A map with a route in the city of Moscow will allow you to plan a route and will not let you get lost in an unfamiliar place.

To create a route on a map of the city of Moscow, enter the starting point in the first field of the form presented below and the end point in the second ole. Then indicate how you will travel to the final destination by clicking on the appropriate button - "By car", "On foot" or by Public transport. After that, click on the button "Show route".

New route network of transport in the city center. After decades of degradation and autocentric development of the city to the detriment of everyone else, it became possible to move quickly and predictably in the center by ground public transport.

As a result of the changes, there were many complaints: somewhere there were inconvenient transfers, buses with trams often got stuck in traffic jams, crowded together or did short flights etc. As a result, the buses went, but not as well as we would like. Here it is worth remembering the well-known principle "if you want everything at once, you get nothing and a little bit at a time." After decades of decline, you cannot do everything well at once, so the development plan public transport was broken down into stages.

This year, after the reconstruction of several dozen streets, new dedicated lanes, hubs, convenient stops, links and routes will be introduced. Starting from the end of this week, driving around Moscow without a car will become much easier - Magistral 2.0 will start working.

It was:

Became:

Highlighted stripes

Without real priority on the streets, buses and trams get stuck in traffic and lose their edge. As a result, the carrying capacity of the street decreases, and passengers make a choice in favor of cars - it is more comfortable to stay in a traffic jam in them. Muscovites have already appreciated what the city and transport look like without dedicated lanes - 10-point traffic jams and an overloaded metro five years ago are remembered by many.

Traffic jams do not allow creating an adequate timetable due to the huge spread of travel time - how to predict the intervals and rest of drivers when driving down the street can take from 5 to 45 minutes? Therefore, the effect of clumping appears - the buses one by one get stuck in a traffic jam, and then they go by train to the sludge area. In general, the carrying capacity of the route drops significantly and additional cars have to be produced to maintain the interval - as a result, public transport becomes more expensive.

It is important to create more than just chunks of dedicated lanes in the center or on the outskirts - solid corridors are needed to avoid disruptions. Public transport should and can have the advantages of the metro: high speed and predictability, but this cannot be done without priority.

There are many local mini-dedicated lanes at intersections on Sadovy, Barrikadnaya, Zhitnaya and other streets:

The most significant long sections will be: where the oncoming dedicated line was also returned, Mira Avenue, Solyanka, and the streets adjacent to Lubyanka and Slavyanskaya squares.

On the Boulevard Ring with curbs and local markings. Tram speed tripled at once. I think this is the breakthrough of the year!

Ligaments

Previous attempts to "save" Moscow from traffic jams have resulted in monster streets and wild re-runs for cars and public transport. No one likes to waste time on unnecessary circles, so people walk straight - a similar scheme works with public transport. Therefore, last year they made punctures on the Garden Ring and in other places - this year they continued to reduce re-runs.

Route m3 was taken away from the embankment near the Kremlin - now the bus immediately leaves for Borovitskaya Square from Volkhonka. Reducing the circle by several hundred meters will shorten the path of each passenger by… 30 minutes. Not bad, agree!

In the area of Belorusskaya through Tverskaya-Yamskaya, this is also a significant event.

At Paveletskaya, the buses made a circle of several kilometers to turn around on Serpukhovskaya Square. Now they will be able to turn towards the train station at the tram intersection!

In general, the Garden Ring will become more convenient - route B will be brought out of the tunnels and overpasses to the surface there. This will allow to make stops closer to the metro and other routes - get off the bus and immediately the metro lobby! But this is not the case everywhere - it was not possible to pull out the route only for Triumphal Square and New Arbat.

Hubs

Route network architecture The highway is built on a transfer scheme. It turns out like in the metro: there are frequent main routes, and with the help of one change you can get to almost any point in the system. The most popular routes, however, remain direct. As a result, waiting times are reduced and the total travel time is reduced. This is without taking into account the simplification of the navigation system - it is easier to memorize 10-20 main routes than 80. Just imagine if a carriage went from each metro station to stations on other lines - there would be hell with orientation and waiting time for "your" train. The same story works with land transport.

With such a system, two important points: Time-based tickets without the need to pay for connecting and convenient hubs. There are no special problems with the first one in Moscow - season tickets are available, and the wallet can turn on the 90-minute mode automatically. But with transfers it was tight: sometimes it was necessary to walk several hundred meters with obstacles to the next stop. For example, on the routes T56 and T78, which now run to Belorussky railway station with stops a kilometer from the station, the stops will be right on the square!

An important point that is often forgotten: all transport must work in a single system, so you cannot put bus stops far from the metro or electric trains. For many years in Moscow, under the yoke of the guests of the brain, stops drove away from metro stations and each other - as a result, today everything has to be returned to its place.

Key hubs this year:

With a new tram terminal, express and bus stops right outside the station in one place.

Serpukhovskaya square with the output of route B to the metro and main buses.

Lubyanka with stops in both directions right at the exit from the metro.

Slavyanskaya square. This will be the central hub of the city - almost all main routes will go here, and at night all night routes are transplanted here with the function of waiting for each other.

A tremendous work was done here: they created 5 platforms at the exit from the metro, including at the expense of the guest parking lot of the Presidential Administration. To the next bus in literally you will need to walk only 5 meters. In the future, there will also be a bike rental station here.

Beauty! modular, which allows you to adjust the pavilion for different conditions without increasing the cost of work. The only difference is that built-in monitors have appeared here:

But the pavilions above the entrances to the metro are new - there were no such pavilions before:

Here, for the first time, we used navigation for hubs with stop numbering:

New routes

New dedicated lanes and connections made it possible to organize new routes and change old ones:

m2 will connect Fili and Novy Arbat with Mira and Rizhskaya ave. - on the metro, this requires two changes, and due to the new allocated lanes, this will become faster by bus.

m27 - new route along m2 and m7. Now passengers will be able to travel from Ryazansky Prospekt to Victory Park, along Nizhegorodskaya, Solyanka, Novy Arbat and Kutuzovsky Prospekt.

144k - a shortened express train on Leninsky Prospekt.

216 - the route will travel along the Savvinskaya, Rostovskaya and Smolenskaya embankments, where previously there was basically no public transport.

m3 will travel along Volkhonka in both directions due to the new exit to Borovitskaya Square.

Express m7 - the route will go along Ryazansky Prospekt to the 138th quarter of Vykhina through the Ryazansky Prospekt metro station.

m8 will be extended to the new final stop "Dangauerkovka" in the Aviamotornaya area.

m9 is now walking along the new dedicated lane on Sretenka in both directions. Previously, he had to drive along Myasnitskaya because of the one-way Sretenka.

Express 903 from Yaroslavskoe highway will go to Koltsevaya.

It became much better, even 5 years ago it was scary to dream of such a thing. It is clear that they have not yet managed to finish everything in terms of markings, pavilions and other things (although they promise to be in time for launch), but now we need to look further, because there is no limit to improvements.

There are still areas in the city center where public transport does not travel well. Dedicated lanes are needed on the Tverskaya, Garden and Boulevard rings. On the Kremlin ring it would be good to make a two-way dedicated passage to improve transfers and speed up traffic. At a minimum, this will allow you to drive during the FSO overlaps.

It is necessary to continue developing the tram - without an extension to Sakharovka

MOSCOW, October 7. / TASS /. The new route network "Magistral" and six dedicated lanes for public transport will start working on October 8 in Moscow. As TASS was told in the Moscow Department of Transport, the total number of routes within the Garden Ring will not change (39 routes), while 17 of them will receive the status of trunk routes, 15 will become regional, 7 - social.

What the authorities promise

According to the calculations of the city authorities, as a result of the change in the public transport route network, 450 thousand residents of the Central District will have the opportunity to get to the city center without spending time on the road to the metro, descent underground and transfers between lines.

"The routes of the updated routes are planned in such a way as to enable passengers to save up to 30% of their time. The average interval of traffic on central routes will be reduced by more than 2 times. "and the new allocated lanes, the waiting time will be 5-8 minutes," the department said.

It is expected that in the next 2 years the passenger traffic of ground transport in the city center will increase 2-3 times and reach 1 million people a day. 103 new buses were purchased for the project, the total number of rolling stock in the center will grow by 39%. Daily on the routes of the Central administrative district more than 370 buses, trolleybuses and trams will leave.

The first line of routes will be launched in October. New routes, new stops and new buses will gradually appear. The last stage of the Magistral network will be launched in 2017. Along with the routes, the authorities promise to improve road markings and launch dedicated lanes where they will help traffic.

Main, regional and social routes

All routes of the Magistral network will be divided into three categories. Trunk routes will connect several districts of Moscow with the center and with each other at once. The interval of these routes will be 5-10 minutes. These are the fastest and most frequent routes on the network.

The number of trunk routes from October 8 will include 17 routes, of which three are tram (3, 39 and "A"), four are trolleybus ("B", M7, M4, M8), ten bus routes ("A", M1, M2, M3 , M5, M6, M9, M10, 904, 144).

The district routes are shorter: they connect the districts with the center (15 routes). On them you can get to the main route or make short trip... The interval of movement is 10-15 minutes. Of these, eight are trolleybus (3, 4, 8, 10, 13, 39, 47, 79), seven are bus (T15, T25, 24, 38, 101, 156, 158).

Social routes will help Moscow residents get to the My Documents centers, clinics, passport offices and other socially significant places. The interval of movement is up to 30 minutes. Seven became social bus routes 39, 40, 64, 122, 132, 155 and "K".

As part of the launch of a new network in the center of Moscow, 24 new stopping points are being commissioned, 12 of which are located in areas where public transport has not been running since the 1990s - on Bolshaya Nikitskaya and Sadovnicheskaya streets.

How routes will change

The only completely new route that does not duplicate the previously existing ones is the M3 bus. It will connect the eastern and southwestern parts of the city. His route will pass from the Semenovskaya metro station to the Luzhniki stadium.

Eleven routes will change the numbering and traffic route, of which 10 mainline routes (bus T1 will become bus M1, T2 - M2, 6 - M6, T9 - M9, 25 - M5, T31 - "A", 20 - M10, trolleybuses 16 and 63 will unite to route M7, trolleybuses 33, 62 and 84 - to M4, trolleybus 45 will become route M8) and 1 district (bus 12C will become route 101).

For example, the T1 bus will run under the M1 number. Its route will be extended to the Botkin Hospital, instead of Varshavskoye Shosse, it will walk along Leninsky Prospekt.

They will change the route, but 11 routes will remain under their previous number, of which two main routes (buses 144 and 904), 7 regional (buses 38 and 158, trolleybuses 3, 8, 39, 47, 79), two social (buses 39 and 64). For example, the route of the semi-express bus 904, which previously ran from the 4th microdistrict of Mitin to the Belorussky railway station, will be extended to Slavyanskaya square (metro station "Kitay Gorod"). Bus 38, which previously ran from the Rizhsky railway station to Trubnaya Square, will now run to Slavyanskaya Square (Kitay-Gorod metro station).

On the remaining 16 routes, the routes and the number remain unchanged. The innovations will affect only the intervals of the following. So, trolleybus "B" and trams 3, 39, "A" will start running at intervals of up to 10 minutes (main routes), trolleybuses 4, 10 and 13, as well as buses T15, 24, T25, 156 will run at intervals of up to 15 minutes (regional routes), buses 40, 122, 132, 255, K will run at intervals of up to 30 minutes (social routes).

It will keep its route, but change the route number C10 ( former bus"A"), which runs from the metro station "University" to Akademika Zelinsky Street.

"Annushka" and routes with the letter "M"

As part of the changes to the route network, the historic route "A" is returning to the Boulevard Ring. When working on the numbering of the new network, a bus route that will run along the entire western part Boulevard ring received the designation "A".

Number "A" was given to the former bus T31, which earlier it followed from the Luzhniki stadium to Trubnaya Square. Now he has extended the route and will reach the Komsomolskaya metro station. Since the beginning of the twentieth century, a tram of the same name has been running along this route, which Muscovites affectionately nicknamed "Annushka". The tram will continue to run in the eastern part of the Boulevard Ring.

All renamed routes now contain the letter "M": M1, M2, M3 and so on. Route M1 will run along Leningradsky Prospekt, M2 - along Kutuzovsky, M3 - along Komsomolskoye, M4 - along Leninsky, M5 and M6 - along Varshavskoye shosse, M7 - along Ryazanskoye, M8 - along Entuziastov highway, M9 - along Prospekt Mira.

Night routes

The changes will also affect the night routes H1, H2, H3, H4, H5, H6. Six of them will be united by a single interchange hub at Slavyanskaya Square, near Kitay-Gorod station. At night, they will cross at Slavyanskaya Square to pick up passengers and deliver them to the other end of the city. The driving intervals will remain the same - 30 minutes. Changing the routes of night routes is associated with the launch of a dedicated strip on the Kremlin ring.

Launching dedicated lanes

From October 8, public transport will be launched in Moscow along six new dedicated lanes: a section of the Kremlin ring, two through passages on the Garden Ring, Taganskaya Street, Vozdvizhenka and a section of Malaya Dmitrovka to Strastnoy Boulevard. Thanks to the new "dedicated lines", public transport running along these streets will be able to carry 30-50% more passengers.

"Vydelenka" on the Kremlin ring will pass along the left side of the road, public transport will move towards cars. Buses and trolleybuses will run from Lubyanskaya Square along Teatralniy Proezd, Okhotny Ryad Streets, Mokhovaya and Borovitskaya Squares. In the opposite direction, the transport will move in the general flow. From Borovitskaya Square, the "dedicated line" will pass through Bolshoi and Maly Kamenny bridges, Serafimovich Street.

Then buses and trolleybuses can continue along the dedicated lane on Bolshaya Yakimanka, turn onto Leninsky Prospekt and enter the Moscow Ring Road.

What the experts think

The head of the "Public transport" direction of the Probok.Net expert center, Alexander Chekmarev, believes that the implementation of the new route network will make urban transport more in demand.

“The routes went from nowhere to nowhere, they were indirect, inconvenient, confusing, it was not possible to start public transport in the way passengers needed it, this was due to the fact that a lot of one-way streets had recently appeared in the city center. New schema is based on the commissioning of new dedicated lanes, in particular, this is a dedicated lane on the Kremlin ring, which will meet the main flow. This will allow public transport routes to be launched in both directions, "Chekmarev said.

Andrey Karmatsky, the head of the company that took part in the development of the new route network, believes that due to route optimization, the traffic situation in Moscow will significantly improve. “The routes were developed with the involvement of transport experts and many different organizations, including renowned foreign transport experts. New network will work more efficiently in the center of Moscow due to the optimization of route lines, "he said.

Norayr Bludyan, Chairman of the Transport Association of the Moscow Agglomeration, agrees with him. "There will be no (transport) collapse; moreover, in my opinion, with the optimization of the new route network, there will be a reduction in the density of car traffic. traffic flow, traffic on the road network will decrease. According to various estimates, in 95-97% of the time the car just stands still, so it is absolutely fair if the owners of a personal car switch to a bus, trolleybus, metro, Moscow Central Circle, "the expert said.

The new routes will run along the most popular destinations.

In 2018, 29 new public transport routes will appear in Moscow. The website of the mayor of the capital informs about it. All incentives will apply on the routes.

The first five new routes will run in the southeast, northwest and west of the city - No. 333 (Fedosyino street - Yugo-Zapadnaya metro station), No. 580 (Samarkandsky boulevard - Chukhlinka railway platform), No. 456k (8 microdistrict Mitino - Seregina street), No. 551k (Veterinary Academy - hospital named after Semashko), No. 324 (metro station "Victory Park"- 2nd Mosfilmovsky lane).
