In cities, there is a big minus, hotels are far from the sea and are not so spacious. So from the minuses ... The hotel is far from the sea. Let people work for joy! The price for such a state of the hotel is greatly overpriced!

The only positives of this hotel are the staff and the beach. The food is plentiful, the desserts are good. But that's it! Don't be fooled by rave reviews. This is not true for a long time. This is a murdered hotel where Russian tourists are taken in droves.

The cleaning of the room pumped up a little, they did not wash the floors well, in my opinion they did not wipe the dust even once. Didn't like the queues at the restaurant, you just have to come a little later.

Booked the hotel through booking. We settled in quickly. The room is excellent on the sixth floor. The food was excellent, we didn't go hungry, everything was quite varied, I wanted more fruit. There were no problems during the stay. The beach is close and clean enough, the entry into the sea is not very good, but we knew where we were going. If you are too lazy to go to your own beach, you can stay on the neighboring ones. There were not enough sun beds by the pool, but there is not much space there, there is an area for sunbathing, where it is always not crowded. The animation is weak, but it was enough for me and the children. Children liked it in the miniclub and on the playground. What is the mood for the vacation so you will spend it. The hotel is called a real paradise for those with a sweet tooth. This is due to the huge amount of pastries served in the restaurant. The only disappointing thing is the poor quality drinks. If we talk about animation, then it is represented by only two employees. Nevertheless, their energy and enthusiasm is enough to amuse all holidaymakers. Speaking of the beach, it is worth noting that it is clean, well maintained and well equipped. The only thing that spoils the impression is its remoteness from the hotel.

Firstly, we were settled in a neighboring hotel, simply confronting the fact and saying that this is their 6th building !!! Although this is a separate hotel with a different name, with its own reception, restaurant, swimming pool, etc. To our outrage, we were told that we were given a room even better than ours, with laminated flooring and a flat-screen TV. That is, we should be immensely happy from their impudence !!! But since we continued to insist, we offered to come up in the morning the next day and after the release of the rooms we will be resettled.
The next morning we had a meeting with hotel guide(Shahin), where we heard that the problems with settling are not only with us, people complained that the rooms are terribly dirty and asked Shahin to deal with the problem. He in a CATEGORICAL form refused to solve problems with the settlement. And in general, he answers any questions with reluctance and a favor. He is only interested in 2 questions: will we buy an excursion and change the currency at the "anniversary" rate !!!
After hearing stories about other rooms, we decided not to risk it and stay in our room (albeit small and old, but clean). And even this room was cleaned and towels changed once a week.

Shahin also offers to go to a Turkish goods store with compulsory visits jewelry or leather store. Sure, see for yourself, but it's a waste of time. They bring them to a store with consumer goods with expensive prices, and leather and jewelry at exorbitant prices. It is better to go for 3 lira to the center of Alanya and there it is easy to walk, choose, bargain. The market also comes to the hotel on Mondays.

Secondly, just so that people know and can consciously decide whether to go to this hotel or not, I want to tell you about its location, because it is not clear from the description and photos on the site. This is a city hotel, not even the second coastline... Whichever room you are settled in, the windows will overlook either the road, or the restaurant, or the vacant lot, or the animation. The territory near the hotel where you can walk, etc., does not have a single square meter. 4 Anex buildings have some greenery, and there are 3-4 trees near the main building. It's just a hotel building in the city, surrounded by a fence !!! But on the other hand, there are shops and a market nearby.

The restaurant is not a restaurant, but just a dining room, which is ALWAYS very noisy and crowded. And also a lot of cats that climb on the tables and drag food from the plates !!!
But the food is good and varied. Of course, without frills, carving and other decoration of dishes, but you will not be hungry. The assortment of fruits is very scarce.
Dirty dishes are removed from the table very quickly, the dishes are washed in dishwashers, and the dishes are taken out as hot.
This is the first time I see a hotel in which there are no teaspoons (only plastic sticks!), Instead of teacups, Turkish amruds. Maybe someone will think that this is nit-picking, but to be honest, it is inconvenient and most of the hotel guests pour tea into several coffee cups.

Thirdly, the most important thing for which people go to rest on the coast are the sea and the beach.
To go quite far to the sea (more than 450 meters stated in the description) along the road passing through the outskirts of hotels and with quite busy traffic. On the way, you also need to cross a road with very busy traffic (there is an underground passage, but the descent into it for wheelchairs is only on one side of the road). The beach itself is sandy, clean, there are sun loungers and umbrellas, the sea is clean. We were for a week and not a single day of calm was, constantly waves, because of which entering and leaving the sea is problematic. But it's fun to sway on the waves. With young children it is problematic.

The animation in the hotel is good. Every evening new program(either they do it themselves, or they invite acrobats, jugglers, etc.). I can't say anything about the children's club during the day (we went without children), but judging by the evening children's animation, the children of the animators know and love. Every evening, children are given gifts for daytime contests, as well as chupa-chups for each child. It feels like the management of the hotel is paying attention to animation.
I didn't even write about Wifi, which is a little lively and even then not always, a TV that is tuned only to Turkish channels, the absence of bulbs in sconces, handles on furniture and other similar trifles. Although everything is made of such little things ...

My husband and I rested at the Blue Wave Suite Hotel in May 2017. This was our first trip to Turkey. Tour from Moscow to the May holidays it cost us 42 thousand rubles. I find this to be very budgetary.

We've read tons of reviews before deciding on Blue Wave Suite Hotel. And, behold, we are already on the bus from the airport in Antalya to the hotel. The road to the hotel takes about 3 - 3.5 hours, depending on the number of hotels to which the bus brings tourists along the way.

The hotel is located in the suburbs of Alanya, in a very picturesque area. Near the hotel there is a gorgeous promenade, walking along which you can see the sea on one side, and mountains on the other. Also, right from this embankment, you can see the fortress, which is located in the center of Alanya. The city center can be reached on foot, but the path is quite long, so my husband and I used the bus.

We arrived at the hotel at 10 am. The receptionist said to wait 12 noon for check-in, and offered us a snack at the bar, which was very handy on the way.

The hotel has two buildings: old and new. Initially, we were accommodated in an old building, in a room where the renovation did not match the photographs at all. It could be lived through. But we were in for a surprise. There are a lot of ants. They were everywhere. Perhaps someone would not attach importance to this, but I have something like a phobia in relation to various crawling insects. I did not see it possible for myself to stay in this room. I might not have mentioned this nuance in the review if, after my request, I was immediately transferred to another room. But the administrator at first flatly refused to relocate us. To my reasonable question: "What are we to do with the ants?" she said she would call the maid to "spray there." I said that I did not intend to either live with ants, nor, moreover, breathe chemicals. The story ended with the fact that they agreed to relocate us only after I asked to call the chief. The sediment remained for the entire rest.

They moved us to a luxurious room in the main building. At some point, I was even grateful to the ants, because if it were not for them, I would not have insisted that we be resettled, and we would have stayed in an old room.

Fed at the hotel - excellent. There was always a lot of food, enough for everyone. Everything is very tasty and satisfying: meat, fish, fresh vegetables and fruits, pastries, desserts - everything is at the highest level. When friends asked me what I liked the most in Turkey, the first thing that came to mind was food. The waiters worked quickly and very efficiently.

The beach is sandy, clean. Walk five minutes to it. For us it was not tiring, but on the contrary - it is pleasant to shake up the fat after a good breakfast. On the beach: sun loungers, umbrellas, a cooler with free water, at the end of our holiday we put a machine with juice. The animators organized beach volleyball. We didn't play ourselves, but it looked great from the outside.

Sea bottom, as well as on the entire coast of Alanya, consists entirely of huge boulders. As we were explained, this is due to the fracture of tectonic plates. When the sea is rough, these boulders are very dangerous. There is no way to get around them, they are everywhere. So you can't really stand in the water: you have to go in - and immediately swim. Even when entering the sea, there are many small pebbles, I had to buy slippers for entering the water.

The animation is unobtrusive. There were cool dances by the pool. There was also a magician show, which we were going to go to, but after a busy day we fell asleep before the evening :) Once a week, a bazaar comes right under the walls of the hotel territory, where you can buy souvenirs cheaper than in local shops.

On the second day after arrival, my husband went to the hamam. He like it very much. Recommends. After the hamam, his skin became incredibly velvety, and a tan began to stick to it much faster than to mine.

We really liked Turkey with my husband. We would like to return there again, but most likely not in the Blue Wave Suite Hotel anymore. Overall, my review of the Blue Wave hotel is positive. I recommend it as budget vacation, it is 100% worth the money. But we would like to visit other places, see what happens in other hotels, so that there is something to compare with.
