From November 1 in Thailand. Should you go to Thailand in November? Reviews and photos of tourists. Marine Parks Laws also include

BANGKOK, 25 October - RIA Novosti. The ban on smoking on twenty beaches in Thailand, located in tourist areas, comes into force on November 1, according to the order of the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources of Thailand, published in the Royal Government Gazette - the government publication that publishes all new laws and regulations.

The decision to ban smoking on the beaches was made after the inspection found out that the sand on beaches popular with tourists was heavily clogged with cigarette butts.

The order prohibits smoking in twenty beach areas, including the most popular beaches among tourists seaside resorts Phuket, Hua hin, Cha-Am, Pattaya, Koh Samui, Samet and others - in addition to designated smoking areas, which will be located outside the beaches, but at a short distance from them.

The order is based on the Marine and Coastal Resources Management Act 2015, which criminalizes environmental damage within Thailand's territorial waters and on the seashore. Violators face a fine of up to THB 100,000 (over $ 3,000) and / or imprisonment for up to one year.

This is not the first order based on this law and directly affecting tourism: previously, such an order prohibited the feeding of fish and anchorages boats in the locations of coral reefs. There are several known cases of foreign tourists being detained for feeding fish in such places, including one with a Russian woman.

In recent years, several by-laws have been issued in Thailand at once, based on special laws that are not included in the criminal code, but which presuppose criminal liability for violations. Some of them also apply to foreign tourists. In particular, in 2014, a ban was introduced on the import of hookahs and electronic cigarettes into Thailand, and in 2015, their sale in the country and services using hookahs and electronic cigarettes were banned. For the import of hookahs or electronic cigarettes, up to 10 years in prison and / or a fine of 500% of the value of the imported one is imposed, for trade in them - up to 5 years in prison and a fine of up to 500 thousand Thai baht (about 15 thousand dollars), and for organizing services with using them - up to 5 years in prison and a fine of up to one million Thai baht (about 30 thousand dollars).

In October 2017, Thailand introduced a ban on the use of unregistered radio-controlled drones (drones) of any size, based on section 23 of the Radio Communications Act 1955. This article assumes up to 5 years in prison and / or a fine of up to 100 thousand baht (about 3 thousand dollars) for the import, production and use of transmitting and receiving radio equipment without the permission of the authorities, installing unregistered transmitting and receiving equipment on movable and immovable objects, and using radio for the purpose of transmitting prohibited information or for purposes incompatible with the interests of society, or the use of radio, entailing harm to the country and the people.

Drone owners are required to register them within 90 days (until mid-January 2018). The registration process itself, established by the same decree as the ban on the use of unregistered drones, is quite simple and quite accessible to a foreign tourist arriving in Thailand with his drone: registration is made not only at the National Commission on Broadcasting and Telecommunications, which issued the decree, but also at Department civil aviation and in all Thai police stations. A single registration form is attached to the decree. However, the Thai authorities have not yet announced how the situation with the drones imported by tourists after the 90-day period will be.

Don't know where to go in November yet? To Thailand, of course !!! The traveler Svetlana TRAVELED to Thailand and KNOWS that the most best month for the trip - November. Read her report on Thailand in November. Where and how best to go.

Good day everyone!
My name is Svetlana, I have been reading it for a long time and with pleasure. This is the best travel forum for me - useful, “without water”, everything is always “short and to the point”. Now I also decided. I will write about vacation at sea: how to go to Thailand in November, where is it better to go, how to do it as cheaply and comfortably as possible. Additionally, I decided to make a step-by-step instruction for beginners, how to travel to Thailand on your own at any time of the year - I hope it will be useful to someone. After all, we all once went to Tai for the first time and felt what a thrill it was! Sit on white sand on a tropical island, watch the sunset, and then choose a table at a restaurant on the beach, and enjoy fresh seafood by candlelight and the sound of the lapping waves ...

For me, the best month to travel to Thailand is November. During this time, the lowest prices for holidays, great weather, and not as many tourists as in other months. I had a chance to rest in Thailand many times, visited there in all seasons, in the most different parts Thailand. Therefore, I advise all friends: if possible, go to Thailand in November!

Thailand weather in November

On the Andaman coast of Thailand in November is set good weather... Rains do happen, but they are getting less and less frequent. And even joyful when they walk. I love to swim in the pool in the rain.

Prices in November for holidays in Thailand

If you go to the sea, then the best prices are until November 15th. I usually go to Thailand for the whole November - I generally find it strange to go for 2 weeks - you just get a taste and already leave: (Until November 15, we take some luxury hotel(which we can't afford in high season), and after 15 - something simpler, usually a house or a guesthouse.

Thailand in November: where to go

In November, it is best to go to the Andaman Sea:, (Ao Nang). I liked first going to Phuket, then to Krabi - it is close by and both places are interesting.

I must say right away that you need to forget about tours to Thailand, you need to go to this paradise only on your own. Along the package you will never find comfortable rest and secluded beaches.

After you go on your own for the first time, you will never go on the tour again, because more interesting and comfortable. When I went with my family for the first time on my own, I immediately appreciated that it was finally possible to: 1. Choose the beach I want; 2. Take a comfortable hotel, an apartment with a kitchen or even a whole one at a reasonable price, and not those creepy hotels with poor service, which are offered in travel agencies; 3. Freedom of movement - not to be tied to one hotel, but to change them - 5 days in Phuket, 10 days in Krabi, a couple of days for, 5 days in and finally go to amazing

If you have never traveled without a permit, then you should know - it's easier than going to Sochi. Use my instructions, thanks to which many of my friends have already discovered a completely different Thailand. I inserted all the necessary links that helped me on the trip immediately into the text, so it turned out not just an instruction, but a full-fledged guide to Thailand for a beginner :)

Step-by-step instructions on how to travel to Thailand on your own

Step 1. Buy cheap tickets to Thailand

Start looking for air tickets 2-5 months in advance. Sometimes it happens that cheap tickets to Thailand for November can be found in September, but there are still more chances to buy the cheapest tickets in July-August. Good price for a flight is about $ 400 for a round-trip flight from Moscow. It is best to immediately take air tickets to Phuket.
If there are no cheap flights, then look through Bangkok. For example, Moscow - Bangkok, then Bangkok - Phuket or Bangkok - Krabi. In this case, you can stay in Bangkok for a couple of days.

Step 2. Book a hotel in Thailand

As soon as you buy your flights to Thailand, immediately start looking for a hotel - the earlier you book, the cheaper it will be. Recommend to try different hotels. Good hotels in Thailand it is cheaper than in Europe or Russia, so it is worth pampering yourself and living in paradise conditions. It's a vacation!

Which beach to choose in Phuket?
If you are with a family, then choose the respectable beaches of Surin or Kamala, or calm Nai Harn, and for a budget family vacation- Kata or Karon. For those who love entertainment and nightlife - Patong. If only the beach interests and nothing around, then Nai Harn.

I liked the Baan Phu Prana Boutique Villa on Surin Beach. Better to take with sea view - amazing view! In addition, it is located on a hill and a little in the distance, and therefore quiet. A hotel of this level anywhere in Europe by the sea will cost from 800 euros. And here ... yourself - incredible, right?

See also the current prices in Phuket here:

And for those who do not need luxurious accommodation, but only a clean room, then look at hostels, guesthouses and mini-hotels. There are very good ones from only $ 10 (price for a double room per night) - see the list of the best cheap hotels in Phuket.

You can take and explore the surroundings. There are many interesting excursions to the nearest islands.

The hotel must be booked on Ao Nang Beach (not in Krabi Town!). For example, Aonang Villa Resort is on the first line. Or a little in the distance, but completely new and inexpensive Hula Hula Resort and Spa (but you can not be afraid of a tsunami :))

Step 3. Buy travel insurance

To enter Thailand from 2019 you need travel insurance... I recommend taking not just any horrible one, but a reliable one. The year before last, my friend found himself in a stupid situation: he fell from scratch, an open finger fracture, and there was no insurance, I had to pay about $ 1200! He no longer flies to Thailand without insurance.
By the way, be sure to take insurance with the option “ leisure”- suitable if something happens on a motorbike. I use - they always paid for everything, no problem.

Step 4. Book an interesting excursion

In addition to the standard excursions that you can easily find in Thailand, pay attention to unusual excursions - you can book them online. Tours are conducted in Russian.

Step 5. Preparing for the trip

Take all printouts with you: flights, insurance, hotel reservations. Russians do not need a visa if the vacation lasts no more than 30 days. We just arrive at the airport, get on the plane.
If you are flying through Bangkok, check from which airport the plane is flying to Phuket or Krabi. In case you took a ticket on AirAsia, you will need to move to another Don Muang airport (plan at least an hour drive) for free bus(shuttle, see timetable).

In the photo: look for your flight number on the “Departure” board

If something in Suvarnabhumi airport you do not understand - you do not need to know English, it is enough sometimes to show the employees your airline tickets for the next plane, they will show you where to go. But in general, everything is very clear and convenient at the Bangkok airport, it cannot be compared with Domodedovo. To find the departure area, go to the top floor and look at the “Departure” board for your flight number and check-in counters.

The fruit season is gradually ending, but there is no need to worry about the menu: you can find many interesting dishes in local restaurants.

As a pilot project by the Department of Marine and Coastal Resources, 20 popular beaches across all tourist destinations in the country will be banned from next month.

The pilot project, which will involve 20 popular beaches across all tourist destinations, starts in November. The Department plans to ban smoking on all beaches of the country.

Among the 20 popular beaches on which smoking is prohibited, starting November 1: Mae Pim, Laem Sing, Bang Saen, Cha-Am, Khao Takiab, Bo Phut, Haad Sai Ri, Patong, Pattaya, Jomtien, Koh Hai -Nok and Koh-Hai-Nai.

Since the ban is based on the Thailand Marine Parks Act, there is a severe penalty for failure to comply.

For violation, a fine of 100 thousand baht or imprisonment for a period of one year is threatened.

It is envisaged that there will be designated smoking areas and trash cans prior to entering the beach, so that cigarette butts will fall into them, and not into the sand of the beaches or the sea.

Head of Marine Resources Department Mr Jatupon Buraphat

On this issue, on the ban on smoking on the beaches of Thailand, we consulted with the Minister natural resources and the environment by General Surasak Kanchanarat and he supported our proposal.

We discussed the smoking ban with the provincial governors and local administrations.

We decided to take such drastic measures after the Andaman Coastal Resources Research and Development Center, in a recent study, found between 63,000 and 138,000 cigarette butts on a 2.5 km stretch of Patong Beach.

This figure is the average of sample studies. The staff of the center examined a sample area of 9 m² to a depth of 10 cm. The result of the study was that for every square meter of Patong Beach there are 0.76 cigarette butts.

We do not strictly prohibit smoking, but we suggest that you stop smoking before the person with a cigarette enters the beach. Smokers can put out their cigarettes and throw them away, but walking on the beach while smoking is prohibited.

This measure, to a high degree, ensures that the cigarette ends up in the trash can and not in the sand of the beach or the sea.

The department plans to consider a ban on smoking in passenger and tourist boats to address the issue of cigarette butts thrown into the sea.

For violation of these rules, fines of 100 thousand baht or imprisonment for a year are provided.

Travelers are obliged to inform the guides accompanying the trip or tour about the rules of conduct in the national marine parks of Thailand.

Should you go to Thailand in November? This question is often asked by travelers who want to visit this exotic eastern country... Of course it is, and there are many reasons for this.

Rest in Thai

What is Thailand in November? We know this country as a place of eternal summer, where exotic nature intertwined with ancient traditions. Here the traveler is expected by a hospitable meeting, highly developed infrastructure, reasonable prices and first class service. And also the absence, since in this part of Asia almost every dog barks in Russian. But the latter may be in power wet season... But no! Thailand opens the high season in November, so you can forget about precipitation.

There are different holiday resorts to choose from this month. For example, the noisy and always festive Pattaya, the exotic islands of Samet and, Krabi, Pi Pi, unique in its beauty. Koh Samui beckons with its splendor, modern Bangkok promisingly invites.

Two words about the weather

So, you can safely choose Thailand for a vacation in November. The weather here is ideal: the air warms up to + 30-35 degrees, water, like fresh milk - +25. Dry and comfortable, but not very hot. Experienced travelers advise at this time to go to the islands of the Adaman Sea. In these parts, the weather is the most favorable, and the heat is easily tolerated. You should be prepared for the fact that the number of tourists increases significantly during this period, and prices begin to skyrocket.

Travel cost

How much will it cost to travel to Thailand in November? The prices are quite elevated. The lion's share of the cost will be spent on air travel. A tour for two lasting ten days will cost about $ 1400-1500, or more if you choose a five-star hotel. This amount includes tickets for the iron bird, transfer to the hotel, breakfast and medical insurance. Separately, you must pay for a visa at the airport.

In addition to this amount, it is worth having with you some more funds for lunches and dinners, entertainment, excursions and shopping. Prices in the country are very low, although they rise slightly in the midst of holiday season and differ from city to city. Phuket is considered the most expensive place in Thailand, Pattaya is the most affordable. Want to save some money but still visit Thailand in November? Book tours in advance or catch last minute deals.

Hotel business

In November it will be great. However, for this it is necessary to decide not only with the resort, but also with the hotel. The establishments are distinguished by the harmonious beauty of interiors and exteriors. Many tourists choose bungalow houses - they have the most low price but very exotic. In any hotel, regardless of the number of stars, the staff is very helpful. Almost every establishment is located nearby beach area or has a private access to the sea. In addition to bungalows, tourists can stay in rooms of different levels of comfort or in the private sector.

If you are planning to spend a vacation in Thailand in November, then you should decide on the place of residence in advance. Do not hope that you will find the hotel after arrival: in the middle of autumn there are a lot of tourists here, so if there are vacant rooms, they will cost a lot. It is also very difficult to catch a last minute ticket - they simply do not exist!

Capital Bangkok

When heading to Thailand in November, don't miss the opportunity to explore Bangkok. The capital Thai city is very colorful, as it intertwined modern and historical sights against the backdrop of enchanting nature. Inspection must be included in the route Royal Palace and the adjacent Temple of the Emerald Buddha, and also the Temple of Wat Po. A little further away, tourists will find the original temple on the water - Wat Arum and the Temple of the morning dawn. It's hard to miss the Temple of the Golden Buddha, the Marble Temple.

Climb up on tallest skyscraper in the country of Bayoke Skye observation deck, from where a fantastic panorama of the city opens. And also take a walk through the colorful old quarters, where it seems that time has stood still. The Oceanarium, Lumpini Park, Safari World and Dusit Zoo are worthy of the attention of every traveler.

How to entertain yourself?

Which one entertainment program cooked Thailand in November? The weather is favorable for sightseeing, underwater walks, fishing, water entertainment, sea cruise... You should definitely go to a session (or better not one) of Thai massage. A trip to a crocodile or snake farm, to a butterfly garden in Phuket will be interesting. Important Buddhist temples with gigantic deity statues are located at Wat Chalong, Wat Srisunhorn, Wat Phra Nang Sang, on Buddha Hill in Pattaya. It will be interesting for both children and adults to visit the Pattaya Aquarium, "Elephant Village".

And, of course, you should go shopping, however, before that you need to familiarize yourself with the list of items prohibited for export. It is profitable to buy here:

  • Jewelry;
  • clothes and shoes:
  • electronics;
  • latex products;
  • cosmetics;
  • leather accessories (bags, wallets, belts);
  • silk.

And in the kingdom (Thailand is just that) it is worth trying local fruits, for example, durian, rambutan, mangosteen and other exotics. Dishes are another story. Here you can eat plenty of sushi and rice in different varieties for a penny. Experienced tourists are advised to try Tom Yang Khun shrimp soup, steamed fish. Expect gastronomic delights to be very spicy and tangy. You should not buy food on the street - there is a risk of being poisoned by a poor-quality product. Although after visiting a restaurant, you can also get an upset stomach.

What are people saying?

Are you ready to travel to Thailand? Tours in November should be booked in advance so as not to stay at home later. But what reviews are left by tourists who managed to visit this fabulous country? Most travelers are satisfied, as Thailand is a diverse country where you can relax on the beach, actively explore nature and local attractions. An economical option is Pattaya, where it boils night life... However, it is not suitable for pampered people: it is always crowded and not entirely clean. A completely different picture in Phuket - an expensive resort where newlyweds, older people and families with children like to relax. It is quiet and comfortable here, nature is beautiful, as on the day of the creation of the world.

Going to the fairy kingdom, you do not need to collect large suitcases. Firstly, it's always summer here, so it's enough to grab a couple of T-shirts, sunglasses and flip flops. And secondly, everything here can be bought at ridiculous prices. So enjoy your vacation and throw a coin into the fountain: you will want to come back here more than once!
