Airbus A320: numbering of seats in the cabin, seating scheme, best seats

This aircraft belongs to the type of narrow fuselage mods. It was released in 1988, and has proven itself positively at short and medium distances.

Aircraft characteristics

The Airbus A320 was equipped with the latest technology in the 1980s, especially the cockpit and fly by wire control systems. Gone are the dial gauges, in their place came electronic ones that occupy almost the entire dashboard. The steering wheels were replaced by side handles, the movements of which are processed by on-board computers and only then the steering surfaces are activated. The automation of the aircraft made it possible to operate with the help of a crew of only two pilots.

The A320 differs from other airliners of this type due to the fact that the cabin is more spacious and the cargo capacity is increased.

After 2000, the following innovations were used on all models:

  • information panel with touchscreen LED-display;
  • lighting over each chair, adjusting its brightness from 0 to 100%;
  • LCD instrument panels in the cockpit.

The plane's computer shell has also been completely redesigned. All this makes the Airbus A320 very popular all over the world and one of the most ordered models.

Composite materials make up about 20% of the A320's structure, which reduces its maximum takeoff weight and contributes to significant fuel savings through improved aerodynamics.

The aircraft is equipped with digital avionics, consisting of 6 displays. It displays all the necessary information about the operation of aircraft systems and warning of failures, as well as navigation.

Where is it produced?

Until 2008, the assembly of the aircraft was carried out only in France, but due to the high demand for the model, production was opened in Germany. In addition, a production line was opened in the PRC, and it produces 4 aircraft per month. All aircraft components are transported on the A300-600ST aircraft.

In the plans Airbus S.A.S - Increase the number of aircraft produced to 42 per month. Most orders are made by leasing and Asian companies, where it is most popular and in demand.

Development of the aircraft began in 1984, and in 1988 Air France received a new aircraft. The A320 can accommodate up to 180 passengers and cover a distance of up to 6,000 km. The main competitors of the aircraft are Boeing 737 and Bombardier CS 300. Domestic Tu-154 is not a competitor due to high fuel consumption. Tu-204 - comparable in performance, but produced in a limited volume. A new generation of Airbus is already in production and is called the neo prefix.

Among domestic carriers, this type of aircraft is operated by the low-cost airline Rossiya. There are several A320s in its park. The Airbus A 321 is already widely used.

The best seats on board

The seats in the A320 can be arranged in several options. But each modification is as convenient as possible for passengers. All aircraft are designed in two classes. There can be the following variations for the rows: 4, 5, 6 seats. The business class is arranged according to the 2 + 2 scheme. It is for him that the first 5 rows are allocated.

The seat backs do not recline here, but there are steps for the legs. The last row is adjacent to the general economy class cabin. As for him, these are seats from the 6th to the 25th row. Everything is pretty monotonous here, although there are also improved seats that are purchased for an additional fee. However, for them, the passenger must necessarily meet certain requirements of the company.

At Aeroflot Airlines

А320 of Aeroflot company - the best seats are located in the 6th, 9th and 10th rows of the economy. Row 6 does not have folded backs in the front, but you will receive food first and receive a cradle for a small child. The downside is little legroom.

Row 9 has plenty of legroom, but the backrests recline in front.

The tenth row is the best in economy, but not everyone can be put here because of the proximity of the emergency exit.

In the company "S7"

The company has a fleet of 18 A320 airliners of two class modifications. There are 8 seats for business class and 150 for economy class.

There is a lot of free space in the 1st row of the business class, but the partition from the cockpit will cause some discomfort. The third row is already of economy class, it is also located at the partition, but there is no one in front, and for the legs, there is a certain freedom.

Some of the best seats are in the 11th row. The seats are comfortable, the legs can be extended and the backrest can be easily reclined. The only limitation is that you cannot put carry-on luggage on the aisle, so as not to block the emergency exit.

At Ural Airlines

The park " Ural airlines”Has 23 aircrafts of А320 type. There are also two class layouts - 12 business class seats and 144 economy class seats.

Rows 1 to 3 - business class. Regardless of the partition or proximity to the economy, these are convenient places.

The fourth row is already an economy class. Here the partition is far enough away and there is legroom. The tenth row has more space for the seats in front, but the backrests cannot recline.

The best seats in Economy Class are in the 11th row. There is also legroom and the backrest reclines back.

At the airline "Red Wings"

The company's aircraft fleet includes several А321 - new aircraft from the А320 family. There are 220 passenger seats, which are also divided into classes.

From the first to the seventh row - business class. As a standard, these are the most comfortable seats in the entire aircraft.

The eighth row is the best of the economy class. Large selection of food and drinks. There is space in the front.

The seats of the twentieth row have increased comfort. There is also a lot of free space here.

Airline "Yamal"

Yamal Airlines has eight A320-type airliners. All of them are made in two class versions and have 8 business class and 156 economy class seats.

The first two rows are occupied by the usual business class. Preference can still be given to the first one, where you can freely stretch your legs. The second row is closer to Economy Class and is not suitable for a quiet and relaxing flight.

The economy class third row also features legroom.

As a standard for such an arrangement, the best seats are in row 11, they are best in economy class for both comfort and free space.

Cockpit

The pilot compartment is very comfortable and ergonomic. All the space is used to the maximum. By replacing the steering wheel with a control handle, there is a place for tables with documentation. Unlike its competitor, the Boeing 737, everything is ordered here and is in its place.

Summarizing all of the above about the Airbus A320, we get a good medium and short-range aircraft. The salon is comfortable and has a number of significant advantages over competitors. The design itself and the electronic filling are still being successfully modernized and meets the latest requirements of technical progress. The economy and low noise level of the engines make it more profitable to use.

We hope that we have helped to understand the intricacies of choosing a seat, which directly affects the comfort of the flight. After all, this is a rather important component of work or, on the contrary, a beginning vacation. Pleasant flight!

Since commissioning A320 absolutely surpassed all others civil aircraft in terms of the use of high technologies - both in aerodynamics and in the field of onboard equipment.

History of creation

After ten years of discussions, in which almost all aircraft manufacturers in Europe took part, the consortium Airbus Industrie in 1981 he started a project of a 150-seater airliner for short and medium routes.

At that time, aircraft with a large
passenger capacity, therefore, two cars for 154 and 172 seats were taken into development. These were two models A320-100 and A320-200, but in 1984 such a project was abandoned in favor of one 162-seat vehicle. The new project provided for two versions of the aircraft, differing only in the capacity of the fuel tanks and the designation A320-100 and A320-200 remained relevant.

The first flight A320

For the first time, a new aircraft was taken into the air on February 22, 1987, under the name A320-100, only 21 aircraft were produced in the series of such airliners. Second option A320-200 became the main representative of the liners A320, the airworthiness certificate for this model was issued in November 1988. This plane is different from A320-100 increased maximum takeoff weight, wingtips with deltoid winglets and an additional 8016 liters fuel tank in the center section.

Consortium Airbus is constantly working on the modernization of its liners, the program has been launched New Engine Option on equipping A320 new economical power plants. Pratt & Whitney Engines PW1000G according to the company's management, they will reduce operating costs by 20%, and the airliner itself will receive improved aerodynamics and a new design of the passenger compartment.
Russian company Transaero signed a firm contract for the purchase of 8 units A320neo, which began to enter service in 2015.

Design features of the airliner A320

According to its aerodynamic design A320 Is a monoplane with a low swept wing, under which engines and a single-fin tail unit are placed on both sides.

The wing of the airliner is thin with high aerodynamic efficiency, all mechanization is made of composite materials, the keel and leading edge of the stabilizer are also made of composite. Side winglets at the wingtips save fuel and reduce inductive drag.

Airbus A320 - flying all over Europe

Since 1989, the power plants have been equipped with the quietest and most powerful engines in their class, the V2500. Engines A320 in takeoff mode, they give a noise level of no more than 82 decibels. The aircraft has a tricycle landing gear, each bogie has two wheels. The main struts are retracted in flight into the center section, the nose - into the front of the fuselage.

A distinctive feature of the aircraft is the fly-by-wire control. In the cockpit, the commander on the left side, the co-pilot on the right has two side sticks, replacing the usual steering wheel. Side sticks have no direct connection with control surfaces, any deviation is calculated by the computer and a signal from it gives a command to the hydraulic drive to deflect the rudders.

Video: Airbus A320 - flight from the cockpit

These side sticks have cleared space for the pilots' folding tables and improved visibility to six color LCD displays, two in front of the pilots and two in the center of the dash. The displays provide pilots with all information about the navigation situation, the operation of power plants and other equipment of the airliner.

Passenger compartment A320 made very spacious, the hand luggage shelves have a large volume, there is a lot of space for cargo on the lower deck and wide hatches for loading luggage. The cabin has modern paneling, a touchscreen display on the Flight Attendant Panel, LED lighting for each passenger seat and the ability to change the brightness of the entire cabin from 0 to 100%.

Flight performance

  • The length of the aircraft is 37.57 m.
  • The height of the aircraft is 11 m.
  • Wingspan - 34.1 m.
  • The width of the cabin is 3.7 m.
  • The maximum take-off weight is 77 tons.
  • The minimum take-off distance is 2090 m.
  • Engines - 2 x IAE V2500-A5.
  • Traction - 2 x 104.5 kN.
  • Cruising speed - 840 km / h.
  • The number of passengers is from 140 to 180.
  • Fuel consumption - 2700 l / h.
  • Range - 6150 km.
  • Practical ceiling - 12 thousand m
  • Crew - 2 people.

Features of choosing the best places

Flight by plane is still very tiring and depends on the right place and A320 gives you the opportunity to spend time in the air calmly and comfortably. The rules for choosing seats are usual, on the booklet, which you can buy at the ticket office, there is an arrangement of seats in the passenger compartment.

The choice of seat depends on your taste, there is only one peculiarity - the chairs next to the toilet and in the tail are the most uncomfortable and restless. If you want to relax and sleep in flight - choose a chair by the bulkhead, if you like the view from the porthole - please look at the ground or admire the view of the clouds.
Aeroflot names the best seats in the cabin A320 the following: in the fourth row - A, B, E, F and in the eleventh - B, C, D, E.

In the cabin A320 the first five rows are considered business class; the seats in these rows can be reclined far without creating inconvenience for passengers in the adjacent rows. Business class has seats for bassinets, but there is no dedicated legroom.

Economy class is separated by a partition, the distance between the seats is less than in business class, but the backrest can be reclined to its full extent without interference. The chairs in front of the partition have their own inconveniences, if you do not grab literature for reading, you will have to look at the wall all the time, but service begins from this row.

a320 - salon

Due to the closeness of the toilet, the seats in the twenty-fourth row are the most hectic, children and people of the age are not recommended to purchase seats in the tenth and ninth rows. Finding the seats of the fourth and eleventh rows near the escape hatch makes them the safest. The passenger compartment is not comfortable enough for a tall person due to the technical features of the aircraft, but despite all these errors, “ Airbus-320"Is considered comfortable enough for this class. Have a good flight!

The Airbus A320 is a passenger jet with a narrow fuselage and the first side on which an electro-remote control system was used. It belongs to the short- and medium-haul type. Mass production a320 was launched in 1988. The liner is very popular with airlines. Until 2017, about 8 thousand cars were produced, of which 6.5 thousand are still in operation.

A320 versions

The first version of the airliner airbus a320-100, developed in the 80s of the last century and produced in a limited number: only 21 aircraft. The fact is that almost immediately the A320-200 model was developed, which became the leading modification of the Airbus. This aircraft is equipped with additional fuel tanks to increase the range. Its variations A 320-212, A320-214, A 320-232, A 320-231 did not undergo significant changes in flight characteristics. The updates were mainly related to the internal configuration.

In the early 2010s. As a result of deep modernization of the A320, the newest ultra-modern aircraft Airbus A320neo appeared, which made its first commercial flight on January 21, 2016 with Lufthansa.

The layout of the passenger compartment of the Airbus A320

The one who is going to fly on this airbus is undoubtedly worried about the question of what the A320 passenger cabin looks like? In its segment, it is distinguished by spaciousness and roomy niches for storing carry-on luggage. The cargo deck has a large capacity. The aircraft has various options for the configuration of the passenger compartment, inside which up to 180 people can be accommodated. However, more often the airbus has two classes of service: business and economic. The business sector can be designed for:

  • 8 seats(carrier "EasyJet"),
  • 12 seats (Rossiya Airlines),
  • 20 seats (Aeroflot).

Thus, the total number of seats can be reduced to 134, and the capacity of the economy sector, respectively, to 114.

Passenger scheme of the Airbus cabin A320

Economy class

Seats in the economic salon start from rows 3, 4 or 6. They are located just outside the business sector partition. During eating, passengers in these places use folding tables. The armchairs are arranged according to the "3 × 3" type. They can be 43.2 cm wide and 45.7 cm wide. If the seats are narrow, then the aisle between the seats is quite wide and is 63.5 cm. This creates additional comfort for passengers taking seats from the edge. They will not be hurt by people passing by. The economy class salon has two bathrooms, which are located at the end of the salon immediately after the last row.

Business Class

From 1 to 2 (in a different configuration of 3 or 5 rows) there are business places of the "2 × 2" type. Wide armchairs (57 cm), an almost horizontally reclining backrest, and a footrest create comfortable flight conditions for passengers of this class of service. The distance between the rows is more than half a meter, so a passenger who wants to take a nap will not cause inconvenience to people sitting behind, even if he reclines the back of his seat at the maximum possible angle.

The best places

  • seats C and D in the Airbus A320-214 are located in the immediate vicinity of the toilet;
  • most people are not very pleased to see a wall in front of them (at a distance of 1-1.5 m) for several hours.

6 row (in other trim levels 3 or 4 row) - these are the first places of the economy. They have more legroom, and for passengers traveling with children under 2 years old, this is the most convenient row, because:

  • cradles are attached to the wall in front;
  • other passengers will not be disturbed here: there is no reclining backrest in front, and technical rooms (toilet and kitchen) are located at the end of the plane.

Salon photo

The 13th row (10 or 11 in terms of other trim levels) also has additional legroom, since here the seats are located just behind the escape hatch. However, the A320 has two escape hatches, and the second is located directly behind the 13th row, limiting the recline angle of the back.

The greatest comfort in the economy class cabin, of course, is possessed by seats in the 14th row (11 or 12 in other trim levels). The distance for their legs is increased due to the emergency hatch, and the reclining angle of the chair is not limited. However, according to the existing safety rules for air transportation, the seats in front of emergency hatches cannot be occupied by children, pregnant women, disabled people and passengers transporting animals.

Main characteristics

Technologies, advanced for the end of the last century, radically changed the equipment of the a320 airliner:

  1. In the cockpit, the dashboard with arrows was replaced by an electronic one, which was equipped with ray displays (then they were replaced by LCD monitors).
  2. The flight of the A320 aircraft is controlled by convenient side grips instead of the steering wheel. The trajectory set by them is first analyzed by the on-board computer, and only then fed to the steering surfaces.
  3. Electro-remote control allowed the aircraft to be guided by a crew of only two pilots, as control of the airliner became much easier.

The A320 has other less striking, but still significant characteristics: an increase in the number of doors: 4 passenger exits and the same number of emergency ones.

Design features

The Airbus 320 is a low-swept monoplane with engines placed underneath.

Capacity, dimensions, weight

A 320 is able to accommodate 180 passengers, while the maximum payload of the aircraft is 16 600 kg.

The length of this aircraft is 37.57 m, while the length of the passenger compartment is only 27.5 m, and the width is 3.7 m.The wingspan of the liner is 34.1 m. They are quite thin and have improved aerodynamics, which contributes to economical fuel consumption. and a decrease in inductive resistance. Aeroflot was the first Russian carrier to operate the A320 with new aerodynamic Sharklets - wingtips.

How much the plane itself weighs, to a certain extent, also depends on its commercial weight. So the maximum take-off weight of the A320 is 78 tons, the landing weight is 66 tons, with a small dead weight of the aircraft - 42 100 kg.

Flight data

The A320 can reach speeds of up to 890 km / h at a take-off speed of 240 km / h. It is capable of covering distances of up to 6150 km with a maximum flight altitude of 11,900 m, but not every airfield can accommodate this airbus. The landing strip must correspond to the minimum length of its take-off distance, which is 2090 m. The design of the aircraft assumes fuel consumption at a cruising speed (840 km / h) of 2 600 l / h. At the same time, the volume of the fuel tanks is 24 210 - 27 200 liters.

The history of the creation of the Airbus A320

For the first time the board of the airbus industrie a320 took to the skies in 1987. It was tested and certified quickly enough, without any complaints. The well-known European airline Air France became the first customer of the developed airbuses. And in the early spring of 1988, the A320 liner made the very first regular flight.

After that, the car was repeatedly improved. A320neo is a representative of a new generation of narrow-body long-haul liners. On September 25, 2014, the A320neo was tested for the first time. By the end of the year, the car was certified. To do this, it took 600 times to raise the airliner into the sky. The total duration of the flights was 1700 hours.

Where is it produced

Components from the Airbus factories are transported to Toulouse for final assembly of the A320. In order to financially rehabilitate the company, in 2007 the production of the A320 was moved from France to Germany, and the production of these machines was additionally set up in China. Also in 2010, a contract was signed for the production of components for an airliner at an aircraft plant in Irkutsk.

The cost of different models

How much the airbus a320 costs depends on the year of manufacture, modification and wear and tear of the machine and varies from 65 to 105 million dollars. So onboard a320-200 2002 in. with a total flight time of 26435 hours can be purchased for $ 70,000,000, and a modernized used A320neo: for $ 102.8 million. New airliners are much more expensive. For example, the just released a320-214 will cost the buyer $ 93.9 million and more (configuration features only increase the cost of the car), and the A320neo - $ 107.3 million.

Last year, Airbus received a huge number of orders for 1,619 aircraft worth $ 240.5 billion.

News, modernization, prospects

The A320 has a great future. Such airbuses are in demand in the passenger aircraft market. According to a long-term thirty-year forecast made by Boeing, world airlines need 38,050 new aircraft, including 26,730 with a narrow fuselage.

The modern, modernized A320neo of various configurations is especially popular with airlines. And although in air parks the leading companies in the segment of medium-haul aircraft are still dominated by the a320-200 of all modifications, the future still belongs to the new version of this airliner.

The Airbus a320 is considered to be one of the most used passenger airliners. In the world air fleet today there are more than 3.5 thousand aircraft of this series. The largest Russian air carriers, such as Aeroflot, S7, Russia, have 50-60 Airbuses in their fleets. Due to its characteristics, A320 aircraft fly in the skies of Europe, Asia, as well as both Americas and Australia.

Manufacturer

The Airbus A320 is produced by the Airbus S.A.S. aircraft building group, its headquarters are located in Toulouse, France, and the aircraft itself is assembled at factories in three countries: France, Germany (Hamburg) and Britain.

Since 2011, another assembly line has been launched - in China. The Airbus corporation employs over 50 thousand people. The very name of the liner - "airbus" is translated as "air bus", it was the only acceptable linguistic option for the French leadership of the company.

Start of release and modifications

The most popular aircraft of this series can be considered the Airbus 320, which was designed to compete with the popular Boeing 727 series. The release began with modifications A320-100 (capacity 130 people) and A320-200 (150 people). Today the "A320 line" also includes models 318, 319 and 321 airbus modifications.

For the first time, a narrow-body (in the cabin there is only one aisle between the rows of seats), a novelty from airbus industrie a320 took to the skies in February 1987. For this aircraft, for the first time in the world, a plane control system was mounted not from the steering wheel, but from external devices using a hydraulic drive system. Despite being classified as a narrow-body aircraft, the A320 has one of the most impressive fuselages - about 20 cm wider than similar aircraft models. This feature makes it possible to make the seats for passengers even more comfortable and install up to six seats in each row.

Flight performance

Liner A-320 has the following technicalspecifications:

  • wing length - 34.1 m;
  • aircraft height - 11.8 m;
  • length of the vessel - 37.6 m;
  • takeoff weight - 73.5 tons;
  • empty aircraft weight - 42.2 tons (significant weight reduction was achieved by designers through the use of lightweight composite materials: plastic reinforced with carbon or fiberglass).

From the flight characteristics should be highlighted:

  • maximum flight range - 6150 km;
  • cruising speed - 840 km per hour;
  • maximum developed speed - 890 km per hour
  • maximum flight altitude - 11.3 km;
  • fuel consumption - 2.5 t / h.

For your information. The cost of 1 unit of Airbus A-320 is about $ 94 million.

Meats on the plane:

  • maximum - 180;
  • with two-class accommodation - 150.

In the liners of this model, the cabin height has been increased, which made it possible to make the cabinets for hand luggage more extensive.

The Airbus A320 is the first to use wingtips called sharklets. These parts, about two and a half meters long, are made of lightweight composite materials and serve to improve the aerodynamics of the liner wings, as well as increase engine efficiency (up to 4 percent). The wings of airbuses lengthened in this way do not interfere with their easy maneuvers on the runway and taxiway. It is technically possible to mount sharklets on already produced and flying liners. These details also visually enhance the design of the aircraft, giving it a futuristic, memorable look.

Seating scheme in the aircraft cabin

The layout of the Airbus cabin has two main options. Thus, the a320 Aeroflot airliner in one of the layouts has a 5-row system of seats for business class, and the remaining seats are intended for economy class. Less used scheme: two-row business class and even more economy seats.

From 1 to 5 (or 1-2) rows are reserved for business class passengers, 2 seats on each side of the aisle.

6 row (or 3) - economy class seats located in front of the partition between classes. Rows 8 to 10 (12 to 14) are located along the escape hatches (on either side of the aircraft body). All other rows of seats are ordinary standard business class seats. Toilets are located behind rows 24-25 (29-30).

Description of places by blocks of rows

The location of the most convenient seats for flight in the cabin of Airbus A320s is easier to imagine on the diagram of the airliner used by Aeroflot.

The first row of business can hardly be called convenient - you have to look at the wall during the entire flight. There is no room to stretch your legs, and there will also be no foot rests that are mounted on the seats in front. In addition, cradles for babies are usually attached to the partitions, and it is highly likely that the entire flight will listen to children's cries. You may also be disturbed by smells from the adjacent toilet and kitchen. One plus is still there - no one will recline the back of the chair to the passenger's knees.

The seats in the 6th row of economy class also rest against the wall, which carries the same inconveniences and advantages as for business passengers. The impossibility of reclining the back of the front seat, due to the absence of such, is even more pleasing, since in the economy class there is even less space between the rows than in the business class. The disadvantages of these seats include the location of folding tables not in the back of the chair from the previous row, but in the armrest - this is unusual and not very convenient. In-flight catering service starts from here, so passengers have the opportunity to choose what they like, not what is left. For passengers with children, the first rows of seats are the best and most recommended: for infants, you can attach the cradle to the wall, and with older children, you can not be afraid that the child will kick in the back of the passenger in front.

Rows 8 to 10 (12 to 14) are adjacent to emergency exits, this has both advantages and some inconveniences. The seats in these places are slightly sloped due to the presence of hatches on the sides of the cabin, for the same reason it can be a little colder here (the problem can be solved simply - with the help of a blanket from the flight attendant). Carry-on baggage will have to be unambiguously placed on the luggage racks above the seats, because you cannot put anything in front of your feet, because this will make possible evacuation more difficult. Despite these shortcomings, rows 8-10 are the most convenient (although they are not available to everyone: due to the peculiarities of these places, the elderly, pregnant women, the sick and passengers with small children are not allowed to sit here - they will not be able to help the crew in emergency situations). The best seats on the airbus a320 are shown in green on the diagram. This is row number 10 (14), except for seats A and F. Tickets are even sold for it with a small extra charge for comfort (the so-called space seats) - due to the location of the seats immediately behind the hatches of the emergency exits, an increased space is formed where you can pull out legs, while the backs of the chairs are easily lowered (but in the previous two rows they are blocked).

Reduced the comfort of seats C and D in the 24m (29m) row (highlighted in yellow), past which people are constantly walking and waiting in line to get to the toilet.

The most unfortunate in terms of comfort are seats 25 (30) of the last row (they are marked on the interior plan in red). Since there are toilets through a thin partition from them, all unpleasant smells and sounds will disturb passengers throughout the flight. Persons wishing to visit the bathroom and slam the door will constantly walk. It is also not possible to recline the back of the chair to a comfortable position. And, as a conclusion, by the last row of the offered food and drinks there is practically no choice left. Tickets for these seats can only be borrowed in extreme cases.

Chairs in other rows are ordinary, they do not have special advantages or disadvantages.

Amenities on board

Due to the rather large weight and high cost equipment, A320 aircraft are not equipped with Wi-Fi entertainment systems. There are screens for passengers in the backs of the front seats (they also provide data on the current location of the liner, flight altitude and temperature overboard). There are powerful air conditioners for air purification, and there are also individual directional lighting devices - quite bright, but not disturbing others. There are two sockets for every three adjacent chairs, gadgets can be charged via a USB port. It should be noted that not all sides are equipped with these amenities, it all depends on the particular liner.

Airbus A-320 continues to be a very popular aircraft passenger aviation in Europe. Manufacturers keep improving and upgrading it. So at the beginning of 2016, a new Airbus A320-Neo was put into operation, which is distinguished by increased efficiency and reduced engine noise.

Video

S7 Airlines uses the A320 in a two-class layout - business and economy. Basically, the cabin of this aircraft does not differ from that of the A319.

Business Class

The layout of the seats is 2 x 2. The first two rows are allocated for the business class. We will not dwell on this class, because the location, the width of the seats, the services offered for passengers - everything has a comfortable flight anywhere.

Economy class

For the economy class, the A320 has rows from 3 to 27. The layout of the seats in the cabin is 3 x 3.

Row 3
If you've read our guide to choosing the best seat on an aircraft, you know that the first row of economy class is considered the best for a flight.

Seats in this row have the maximum benefits and, as a rule, airlines charge an additional fee to be able to book these seats.
Passengers of this row are spared the inconvenience in flight due to the presence of the seats in front and the passengers in them. After all, no one will recline the back of the chair, showing you the top of the head.

There is more than enough legroom. You can put your carry-on luggage in the shelves above the seats or give it to the flight attendant, who will find a place for your belongings.

Rows 4 to 7
Standard rows by step and seat size. However, they have advantages in comparison with similar rows from the center and tail of the cabin.
Passengers in the bow rows of the A320 are among the first to receive meals. Accordingly, the question "chicken or fish" carries a practical aspect and the availability of a choice of hot dishes.

In this part of the salon you will not see queues to the toilet room, because statistically, most passengers go to the toilets at the rear of the plane. This is also due to the fact that the bulk of the seats falls precisely at the end of the central and tail sections.

Only, the 7th row has disadvantages in the form of partially covering the view from the window of the wing and increased noise from the engine located on it.

Row 8
Worse than 7, but better than 9, I would say so. The field view at the porthole is half obscured by the leading edge. Plus the increased noise from the engine.

Row 9
There are emergency exits behind the seats in this row. Therefore, the backrests of the 9th row seats do not fold down, which can create discomfort when flying long distances or on a night flight.

Rows 10 and 11
The seats are located at the emergency exits. Can be counted as places superior comfort due to the increased legroom. However, online registration for such places may be closed.
Also, passengers with children, animals and the elderly are not registered for seats at emergency exits.

Life hack: Seats in the 10th row can be selected at registration without additional charges for Extra Space. Similar seats in the 11th row - only for money.

Rows 12 to 15
Nothing notable places with disadvantages for those who like to look through portholes. The wing covers all views, except for the 15th row. There is a partial review. The trailing edge of the wing runs exactly at the level of the window. Additional noise can be generated by the engine on the wing.

Rows 16 to 26
Armchairs with standard spacing. The only recommendation is to register for seats closer to the 16th row. The further to the tail, the more people who want to get to the toilet standing in the aisle. On an overnight flight, rest can be disrupted by slamming toilet doors and noise in the kitchen.

Row 27
Avoid this row if possible. The most awkward places in the A320 are in this row.
The only plus of these chairs, if the distribution of food is from the tail, you will receive food one of the first.
There are many more cons.

The backs of the 27th row of seats do not recline. There are toilets behind your backs. From time to time, you will observe a line of passengers near you, who, while waiting, will lean on the backs of the seats at the aisle.
Noise from the kitchen.
