    Dear friends and colleagues!

We inform you about special rules road traffic to be implemented in the emirate of Ras Al Khaimah during December 31, 2019 and January 1, 2020:

As the emirate prepares to meet New Year with an attempt to break two Guinness records for the longest pyrotechnic show and drone show, access to Al Marjan Island will be restricted from 11:00 a.m. on 31 December.

The only vehicles that are allowed access are taxis, Uber, public transport and private vehicles presenting a unique badge sticker (Rixos Bab Al Bahr management will provide upon request for their guests).

At 23:00, all major roads leading to Al Marjan Island will be completely closed. This means that after this time, not a single vehicle will not be able to reach hotels until roads are reopened around 03:00 on January 1, 2020.

    Dear friends and colleagues!

BIG5 is a mandatory surcharge (increased rate) applied by the hotel during exhibitions in Dubai. However, there are no benefits for guests, no entrance tickets.

The system reflects the mandatory surcharges that are shown in the guest voucher, even if they do not provide any benefits, this is simply an additional charge for the room rate on certain special dates.

By decision of the Government of the Emirate of Fujairah, due to unfavorable weather conditions beaches in this emirate are closed for use indefinitely.

Update 11/20/2019: the beaches are currently open. However, due to the rainy season, the hotel may decide to temporarily close the beach for a day or a few hours. But these are exceptional situations.

A real trash heap! The food is terrible! One kind of dry cheese and one sausage from a camel or a ram! You can only eat an omelet, but it takes 20-25 minutes to stand in line for it, since all of Russia is behind it !!! The rooms are a wild horror, it feels like I ended up in a hostel for 7 families !!! The doors are gnawed, the platbands are painted with floor paint 8 times like in the 90s at my grandmother's, the bathroom is generally cunt !!! Feeling as if you were in a hospital or morgue! When you look at these pipes and mixers, you ask yourself the question, where is the scalpel, saw and hammer 😂😂😂

MET was located quickly there were no problems with the language there was a Russian speaking administrator. The room was cleaned daily, towels and all shower kits were changed. DAILY water at 05 in bottles. The windows do not open but the air conditioner works. I really wanted to wash the windows - dirty. Food for every taste was sufficient especially good cakes with cheese hot and in the evening just flat cakes from the tandoor. We had breakfast and dinner, but when we went on excursions, we calmly went to lunch instead of dinner. I really liked the soups, sauces and meat and rice and vegetables. We were full. THEN the beach. I had to come at 7 in the morning to take sun loungers because at 7-30 a bus came from other hotels and there were not enough sun loungers. However, the staff quickly reacted and put in additional ones. Russians have a lot of children. Water is pure fish swimming near the shore.

We flew in January 2018, the weather was very lucky - it was warm, but the sea is cool at 20 ° C. The children swam only in the pool (there are 3 of them with different water t ° and depth). The hotel itself is located on the outskirts (there is no place to walk outside the territory), but 1 line. The room was on the 7th floor overlooking the sea, there are no balconies. Meals took breakfast + dinner (dinner can be changed for lunch). I really liked the breakfasts (scrambled eggs, omelets, pancakes, waffles, fresh juices), and lunch with dinner was not very ... A lot of spices !!! The soups are very spicy, in a week I was lucky to feed the children with normal vermeel soup with chicken (they didn't finish it :), you certainly won't stay hungry ... Overall a good hotel.

We lived in this hotel for only 4 days, as we were in transit through the UAE. But during these days we managed to enjoy our rest. Booked through the website, the staff is helpful, on arrival they settled quickly. The room was a standard double, spacious, very bright overlooking the beach, with all the amenities.
During these days, we visited several restaurants, in the hotel itself, ordered breakfast in the room, delicious fruits, scrambled eggs and bacon, coffee, pastries. We went for dinner to the Kazan restaurant, which is a 10-minute drive from the Al Seef Hotel. The atmosphere is very pleasant, the staff are friendly. We ordered fish "Dorada" very tender, fresh and fried ribs (juicy, tender meat.) The prices pleasantly surprised us.
Bought on the beach in the pool, there are four of them, two for children. The private beach is clean, the sea was warm and clear. There were enough sun beds and umbrellas, enough for everyone. There is a beautiful winter garden with birds and a fish pond.
We even managed to visit one sightseeing tour of Dubai. Were impressed by the beauty of the Middle East, the singing fountains are amazing. The excursion was purchased from the Shang Tours company at the Summer land hotel 10 minutes drive to the hotel, the company was found via the Internet. Good guide, it was interesting to explain everything, thanks.

Perhaps I'll start with the sea. This is why most people go on vacation, I had a slightly different goal - excursions and shopping in Duba, Abu Dhabi. So, the beach is clean. I never saw a single glass or piece of paper. White sand, without stones and algae, the sea is clean and calm. I bathed almost every day in the early morning. The beach is full of sun loungers, so I never had any problems with them. In addition to the sea, there are three swimming pools, around which there are also sun loungers. The water in them is sea water and is heated. The structure of the building itself is unique and very beautiful. The entire first floor, together with the reception and restaurant, is a huge oasis with trees and waterfalls, with ponds and fish in them. The view is certainly wonderful, no words and photos can convey this. I only took breakfast, since I was not going to spend all the time in the hotel. The food was always great, no bickering. Wonderful coffee. Service level. Although my room was standard, it was large and comfortable, and most importantly with a sea view. Buses ran constantly from the hotel throughout the day until the evening. Everything I wanted from Radisson Blue I got. Will definitely come back here.

Good day to all. We chose the hotel for a long time, but still stopped at Radisson. As this is a well-known hotel chain. They met us right away. It took about two hours from the Al Muktum airport. They settled very quickly. On the third floor. Smoking rooms. They have no balconies. It was a shame. There is no strong smell, the hood works well. But I would very much like to sit on the balcony and look at the beautiful view from the room. On the sea. The rooms are very nice, large soft bed, bed linen very pleasant to the body. We cleaned up every day. The hotel has its own beach. The water is clear, cleaners are constantly walking around and removing every piece of paper from the water too. In January, the water was cool, but we swam anyway. The hotel also has 3 heated swimming pools. Meals - buffet. We took breakfasts and dinners, you can change for lunch. Very handy when you go on an excursion with dinner. Very varied dishes, everything is very tasty. Everything is always fresh, you can squeeze orange juice for breakfast. Delicious bottled mango smoothie. And in general, there are a lot of mango desserts. Tours were taken from the guide. I really liked the Safari in the sands, on Land Cruisers and the park of flowers. In general, I liked everything very much. We highly recommend this hotel. He's the best in Sharjah!

Hello everyone. I rested at the Radisson hotel in September last year. The advantage of this hotel is that it is located on the first coastline and has its own beach. I liked the hotel hall, everything is in Arabic style, two hotel staff are Russian-speaking. On the floors, there is already a more sustained style in the interior, the second floor, as I understand it, is for the elite and local residents... The hotel staff are all foreigners, but very polite and very friendly, they always greet and smile. I chose the room for non-smokers, without a balcony. The bathroom has a bidet, toilet, bath, sink with mirror, hairdryer. The bed is great, wide and well made by the maid. The windows are on the whole wall, but did not open, overlooking the sea, very beautiful. The room is good, there is a TV, linen was changed 2 times a day. White sand beach with clear blue water. Garden area, three swimming pools, one for children. The water in it is warmer than in the sea, which made me happy. There is a SPA, gym, expensive shops. The hotel restaurant on the ground floor, included in the tour only breakfasts, buffet table, there is food, it is delicious, fresh, fruits in abundance. In general, I liked the rest, wait for more!

Pros: A neat, comfortable room.Comfortable baby cot. There is a dressing room for things.Conscientious cleaning. The staff promptly responds to the problems arising from the guests.Deep seawater outdoor pool.Excellent breakfast food, tasty and varied.

Minuses: Locks in the room are often broken, the electronic key is demagnetized. The sea is very dirty, it is dangerous to swim, so the hotel is not recommended for a beach holiday.Everywhere there is a pungent smell coming from the nearest shipyard.

Free shuttle buses run from the hotel to major shopping malls in Sharjah and Dubai.Closeness to the beach.

Minuses: Old furniture in the room.

Before the trip, we read a lot of reviews that were mixed. But we decided to go, and right after our return I would like to express my impressions about this hotel.

AIR CARRIER. Rest 19.08-26.08.2019. Departure from the airport "Boryspil" (Kiev) at 19.20, ak "UIA" (Ukraine International Airlines). The flight was about 5 hours, the flight was 20 minutes late and the Gate location at the airport was transferred to the scoreboard at check-in, which gave rise to running around and getting nervous. A very uncomfortable board was served. The distance between the seats is minimal, the interior is dirty. They flew with difficulty, the back and legs just fell off.
Back - departure at 3.20 from Dubai airport, the flight was 30 minutes late, a more comfortable and clean plane was served, you could stretch your legs and get some sleep.
On board UIA, food according to the menu (for euros) or lunch according to its booking with an air ticket. Only water is served free of charge.
24 hours before departure, you need to register on the airline's website and show boarding pass in electronic or paper form when registering in ap. When you try to change the seats in the cabin, issued at electronic registration, the site showed free options, but the cost of this option was in euros - from 6 to 14 per seat, if tickets were taken through a travel agency. In the Emirates, it was not possible to register on the a / c website, the network gave an error. But there were no problems - at the airport they issued a boarding pass without registration and with good seats.

THE HOST. Desert Adventures company. We met at the airport, immediately served a transfer for 8 people. Our hotel was the first, we were there in 20 minutes. Back, everything is also prompt - the transfer arrived on time, minute by minute, the driver drove to the airport, helped to unload things. The guide Natalia was on the next day of our arrival at the hotel, we did not take excursions, so I cannot say about their cost, which is also not indicated in the company brochure. We did not see the guide again.

HOTEL. Radisson Blu Resort Sharjah 5 * was opened back in 1982. This is one of the oldest hotels in the emirate, located at Corniche st., A zone of old Sharjah, an area where Pakistanis and Hindus are the main residents. Al-Noor Grand Mosque is located next to the hotel building. The building of the hotel in the form of a trapezoid has 15 floors and about two dozen bungalows near the pool area. The lobby (the letter L on the elevator button) is beautifully designed and it can be seen that this area is constantly being updated. On the G floor there is a winter garden with a beautiful waterfall and fish. This is a feature of the hotel, because it looks amazing.
Registration took 10 minutes. The deposit was not taken. We were settled on the 10th floor, in a non-smoking room.

Room - Standart Sea view, with an area of about 35 m2. It has two separate beds (very comfortable with amazing linens), plasma TV with 62 channels (3 Russian), a table, two armchairs, a bedside table, several lamps, an air conditioner, a kettle, tea / coffee sets, a safe and a minibar ( photo of the number is attached). Upon registration, two electronic keys from the room are issued. A little embarrassed that the closet is adjacent to the toilet and shower. It can be seen that the plumbing is new (but there were problems with the drain in the shower room), and the furniture in the room needs updating (you can see scratches and chips on it). The window is dirty and cannot be opened. Things take a long time to dry.

The floor of the room was stained. In the bathroom, upon arrival, there were several bottles of shower gel, shampoo, conditioner, body lotion, one towel each for feet, hands and shower. There were no bathrobes, soap, slippers, adapter, toothbrushes, sponge / toothpick sets, blades, shower caps, which should be a must for a five-star hotel. In order for all this to be in the room or to clean it, you need to press the One Touch Service button on your phone. They brought everything very quickly, and all the days of our vacation were cleaned superficially, dust was present on the furniture, lamps, TV.

Near the reception, on the right, you can borrow a map and a Sharjah guide for free.

THE INTERNET. Wi-Fi works throughout the hotel, no password, even on the beach. There are no complaints about his work.

NUTRITION. We had breakfasts, and we had lunch and dinner in the city or in the room. Breakfasts are served at Cafe at the Falls, winter garden hotel (photo attached), on floor G, from 6.30 to 11.00. If you plan to sit near a waterfall, be careful, as from the damp the laminate around the tables slightly warped. For all days of rest, one must pay tribute to the chef, stability is his credo - all days breakfast was the same, and these are: four types of juices (tomato, tropic, apple and orange), sliced cucumbers, tomatoes and lettuce, three types of muesli , milk, two types of meat and cheese cuts, boiled eggs, corn porridge, sausages, rice with vegetables, beans in red sauce, three types of sweet pastries, coffee, tea, watermelon, melon and fruit mix. Pancakes, waffles and scrambled eggs are also made with you.

The variety was sometimes brought in by dishes with pickles with carrots, canned peaches and a tube of lemonade. The choice seems to be as it is and you will not stay hungry, but everything is monotonous. If you have lunch and dinner at the hotel without being tied to the tour, then its price will be 132 and 145 dirhams per person, respectively. Also the hotel has a 24-hour Chill Out Caf? with drinks, pastries and snacks as well as Caf? Calypso in the pool area at the beach club. We also noticed that the hotel was very uncrowded during our stay.

BEACH. The hotel on the L floor has an entrance to the gym, Spa center, Beach Club, which are open from 6.00 to 20.30. In many reviews, it was written ambiguously about the sea and the plant near the beach. We were generally satisfied with the beach. During our stay, the water in it was clear, pleasant, the entrance to it was large White sand... There were practically no people, silence. Fish swim, herons and large seagulls and ducks walk along the beach. The beach is constantly cleaned, the sunbeds are new. The sand was sifted, also without debris.

There were a couple of jellyfish with long tentacles in the water. You can rent a boat for boat trip, beach accessories. Only on the last day did oil stains appear in the sea, some turbidity of the water and debris, which were immediately collected by the beach workers. The pools were pleasantly chilled and clean. It was very comfortable to refresh myself in them. Several hotel cats were also seen around them, impudent and always hungry.

ATTRACTION. The Museum of Islamic Civilization is located next to the hotel. Entrance 10 dirham, open until 20.00. You can also take an audio guide at the entrance with an excellent explanation of the museum's expositions (a passport is taken as a deposit). On two floors of the museum, there are four galleries of excellent collections on the history of the development of Arab civilization and a hall of ancient Arab science and technology. Photography is permitted. Also on the second floor there is a room with a dome in the form of a sky with the signs of the zodiac. There is a small cafe on the ground floor.

Behind the museum, a ten-minute walk away, is another attraction - the Sharjah Museum of Art. The entrance is free. It works until 20.00. The museum has 18 halls of modern Arab art - paintings, sculptures, installations. Photography is permitted without flash.

Also next to the hotel is the famous Rain Room art object, or the hall of eternal rain. Thanks to motion sensors, you can move around in the continuous stream of rain, stretch your arms and take selfies without getting wet. As soon as the visitor crosses the border of the installation, the water stops flowing over him, but continues to flow everywhere around him. The Rain Room is located in Al-Mahhara Park and is a dark underground chamber, where the falling jets of water are illuminated only by a searchlight. Visitors are allowed in 6 people every 15 minutes. The ticket costs 25 dirhams. It can be ordered in advance through the website (but there were reviews that the money was withdrawn from the card, but the scans of the tickets did not arrive at the post office) or as we did: on the way to the Museum of Islamic Civilization we went to the Rain Room and bought two tickets for the next day. 19.00. You must arrive 10 minutes before the start. I advise you to visit this site, enjoy the shower and take wonderful photos as a keepsake. The facility is open until 21.00.

Also beautiful is the Sharjah Oceanarium (weekend Sunday) and located nearby Maritime museum.

Taxis can always be called upon leaving the hotel.

CAFE, SHOPPING CENTERS. Near the hotel Radisson Blu Resort Sharjah 5 * there is a cafe Kebab Bazar, several points of sale of hamburgers and shawarma. There are many small cafes of Indo-Pakistani cuisine in the streets. I will not say anything about the range and prices, we did not dare to eat there. Opposite the Rain Room is the large LuLu hypermarket (Address: Branch 7, Al Naba "s). It has three floors - a grocery market, stationery, cosmetics, appliances and a clothing floor. Opposite LuLu there is a large currency exchange. Also next to the hotel, at 20 minutes away from the Carrefour City Center Al Nasseria, all of which are open until 00.00.

There are daily transfers from the hotel to Sahara Center, Mega Mall, Sharjah City Center and Dubai Outlet Mall.

OUTPUT. The Radisson Blu Resort Sharjah 5 hotel *, in principle, pleased with the beach, the interior design of the lobby and a convenient location to the historical sights of the city and shopping centers... Its price matches the quality. Of the minuses, it can be noted: the hotel is located in the old district of Sharjah, near the industrial zone, the port, with a peculiar Pakistani and Indian flavor, surrounded by several mosques. The hotel requires restoration of the number of rooms, soundproofing of rooms and constant monitoring of the cleanliness of the beach line.
