I had to take a taxi to go to Varna and change the euro for leva. , this is about 14 euros). And now, having changed the euro for leva, we are happy to give the money ... After a 30-hour trip, I can imagine how I wash in the shower ..., but they tell us: - You have to wait a little. We arrived at the hotel at 9 am, everyone who came with us has already settled in the rooms !!! We are waiting ... 30 minutes ... 40 minutes ... We come to the reception, in response: Just a little bit more. We are waiting again ... 30 minutes ... 40 minutes ... When will these end a little bit ???? My husband can't stand it and goes to the reception. at once ?? !!! Somehow there is a difference between "a little" and 5 hours !!! We would go for a walk or check into another hotel, everything is better than sitting on the couch in the lobby for 5 hours. To make it clear, we arrived out of season and almost the entire hotel was vacant. If there were a season and there were no vacant rooms, I would have understood everything ... What can I say about the room. I liked the room, clean, nice furniture, two single beds (can be connected), a large and roomy wardrobe, plasma TV (3 channels in Russian), mini bar, bathrobes and towels. Cons: the hair dryer did not work and the iron was in the ironing room on the 3rd floor. I had my own hairdryer. The hotel was almost empty, so there was no queue to iron. I liked the kitchen very much ( Buffet). Prepared very tasty and great variety. But how it turned out early to rejoice ... In Bulgaria at that time there was big holiday, I do not know how many days they walked him, but we found two days. After the last Bulgarians left the hotel, they began to feed us with those that had not been eaten during the holidays ... It got to the point that the chicken wings just smelled rotten, and the porridge was sour, the peels of the sliced ​​oranges dried out. It also turned out that dinner does not include tea, coffee, yupi (they called it juice), or even boiling water !!! They brought us a decanter of water, which stank of bleach, was obviously poured from the tap !!! When they began to ask the waiters why even boiling water was not allowed, they answered without hesitation: - We have a shortage. Oh my God!!! They can't even pour boiling water for 57 euros !!! After complaints reached the hotel management. Azalea's staff tried to resuscitate. The last two days we (these are 10 people from Ukraine and Russia) were well fed and even served tea for dinner. But as they say: Spoons were found, but the sediment remained. Good thing: the hotel is very close to the beach, no, not close, it stands on the beach. You leave the hotel and immediately the sea ... The view from the room is gorgeous ... There is WiFi in the lobby, not very fast, but there is. Housekeeping is good - clean but no shampoo, gel, etc. They put a cap and bath salts in the room. There is a warm indoor pool with mineral water, sauna, gym- it's free. 5 minutes walk, there is a shop and bus stop drive to Varna (travel 1 lev about 0.5 euros). Conclusion: - I cannot recommend this hotel!

My family and I went to this country for the first time, on the recommendation of the tour manager .. My family is my husband and child at the age of 1 year. We chose this country for 2 reasons - a short flight duration, a relatively mild climate, which is suitable for a child's first trip to the sea. I must say right away that I know about the general WHO recommendations, which say that before a child reaches 3 years old, it is not recommended to change the climatic zone of residence. but, on the recommendation and permission of the pediatrician supervising my child, we decided to go to sea earlier. But, shortly before leaving, I was warned about the danger of contracting a rotavirus infection in this country. In addition, repeated negative reviews on the Internet about holidays in Bulgaria for the same reason. But, it was too late to refuse the voucher, due to the complete loss of the voucher cost. Rested in the resort St. Constantine and Elena at the Azalea hotel.
The first thing that didn’t like and didn’t coincide at all with the advertising of the tour manager was a children's table. According to her, the hotel has a large selection of cereals and soups. They are, but cereals are not designed for children of the age of one year, because they have added sugar, a strong allergen for children of this age. It's good that the cooks in the kitchen agreed to specially cook sugar-free porridge for my child. True, "cook" is a very loose concept. Oatmeal, drenched in boiling water or hot milk, that's all the porridge.
The second thing I didn't like was the packs of stray dogs running around the hotel and on the beach.
Third, the lack of kettles in the hotel rooms. This is the first hotel I have visited where there was no such elementary household appliance in the room. To prepare the infant formula, we had to use the shared vending machines in the lobby bar or hotel restaurant. We asked to provide us with an electric kettle both at the reception and in the restaurant, but were refused. And this, in my opinion, is not very hygienic, especially in relation to small children. Tk machines are common items that do not guarantee sterility. The hotel management could take this into account as most of their guests are children.
Fourth, this is that 4 days before departure, my child still fell ill with rotovirus, despite all measures taken by me and my husband to prevent this infection. Namely, immunization with preparations containing interferon, washing and antibacterial treatment of hands before and after eating, before and after visiting the sea and the beach, not eating food on the beach and in places not intended for this, not using hotel dishes, monitoring that the child did not pull in the mouth and so on. As a result of 2 days, a temperature of 39.7, constant vomiting and diarrhea, the danger of dehydration, which was avoided thanks to medicines taken with him from home and constant consultation with our pediatrician. The child was led by the doctors from the hotel's medical center, who were primarily interested in our insurance, which I am not surprised, rather than helping the patient. 3 days before departure, I called Nellie, the representative of the Solvex tour, asking about the possibility to change tickets for an earlier departure, received a refusal, quite logical, without any complaints about this, and a counter offer that the child should be examined by a pediatrician. Naturally, I agreed, maybe, the doctors from the hotel's first-aid post are general practitioners who do not have much experience working with small children. Nelly promised that the pediatrician would come within 20 minutes, but ... the pediatrician did not come either in an hour or in 2. I did not call her back and remind her of myself, it was evening time, the child fell asleep after a high temperature, and if the pediatrician would still have visited us at night, it is not known how this would affect his condition. We dealt with his critical condition on our own. Another picture I saw surprised and made me wary - the day before departure, I went to the local pharmacy for additional medications and found a line of the same patients, from different hotels... We talked, the symptoms are similar, the medications they buy are the same. And the doctors who observed all the sick, including my child, said that this is a local problem and it has long been present in this region.
Later, meeting with Nelly in the hotel lobby, and saying that the pediatrician was not there, which she was allegedly so surprised, I warned her that we refuse the airport transfer services and use the taxi services, because we didn’t want to burden the weakened child once again. loading and unloading into and out of the bus and a long detour of all hotels and collection of tourists, our goal was to quickly and safely get to the airport. I admit that somewhere there is a flaw in my husband and I, we, as parents, tried to foresee everything. Yes, this is not an epidemic of plague or cholera, yellow fever or malaria, but the virus is serious, it develops rapidly in the body, especially in children, and if help is not provided on time, it can lead to death from rapid dehydration, in addition, it can have serious consequences Subsequently, the high temperature negatively affects the still imperfect nervous system of young children.
I must say right away that we will no longer go to Bulgaria. In my letter, the word "rest" flashed several times. but you can't call it a vacation. Once again I concluded that it is much easier, safer and more interesting to travel on your own, making a choice in a country, resort, hotel, based on your preferences and family interests, rather than pushing the tour manager's interest as quickly as possible " last places at the hotel "(according to her).
