Not all tourists going to Egypt are lovers of the truly "Egyptian". Some of them prefer to devote a separate time to decrepit national attractions, but live in some place that is more reminiscent of familiar Europe. This is quite real, because one of the most ancient states on the planet boasts a rich variety of cities. One of these convenient for living is the resort on the Red Sea - Naama Bay.

To be more precise, this is one of nine districts of Sharm el-Sheikh, which is very popular among Russians, and, moreover, its unofficial center and a recognized hangout place for guests of the country. For rest with the whole "family" - with kids and pets - it is probably preferable to stay in some other part, say, Gardens Bay. The fact is that Naama Bay, which is not particularly impressive in the daytime, comes to life with the onset of dusk and leads a rather stormy nightlife. Though, on the other hand, it is here that most of the beaches have a sandy bottom(which is important for children's feet), moreover, the resort architects did a good job on them. Do you still want to look at the vibrant and vibrant world of underwater inhabitants, which is active next to corals, but not in the sand? Then you can go to the beaches of other parts of the city - for comparison, so to speak, and the accumulation of impressions. Another plus from the point of view of moms and dads - the Naama Bay protects its inhabitants from the winds better than others, and you can relax here even in the khamsin (from the Arabic "wind season") - during ... read in full

HOLIDAY PRICES:

The cost of rest in Naama Bay. January 2019.

tour cost

Tour cost $ 550 for two. The flight was from Kiev (Boryspil airport), there are two ways to get to the airport. Bus - 80 hryvnia or electric train - 88 hryvnia per person. Upon Arrival in Sharm El Sheikh, a tour operator bus was waiting for us, which took us to the hotel. Croissants and cheese sandwiches were a nice bonus on the bus. Since the flight was overnight, the snack came in handy.

Tours could be taken at the hotel, but we decided to look for ourselves. We wanted to get to the Ras Mukhamed nature reserve. Prices vary from local guides and at the hotel. For example, for the locals, this excursion cost $ 25 per person (+ diving) and (without diving) $ 15. In the hotel $ 45 (without diving) + $ 10 (one dive). Lunch on the yacht is included for everyone. Photos are paid separately from $ 15, you can underwater with fish or on a yacht.

Food and groceries

Prices vary widely throughout Naama Bay. You have to walk and compare. All our food purchases were made in the Old Market or walking along the promenade in the evening. There locals sell fruits and excursions. The price of 1 kg of ready-made shrimp is from $ 10 to $ 14. We didn't buy water, we took it at the hotel. Freshly squeezed juice from $ 1 to $ 3. Hookah from $ 1 in a cafe and up to $ 5 in a hotel bar. Strawberries $ 1 per tray. Mango from $ 3 to $ 6, depending on the variety and point of sale, the further, the cheaper. Mostly fruits from $ 2 to $ 8 (pomegranate, carom, guava, avocado, oranges and tangerines). Haggle! This is important! Cookies were taken nearby in the pharmacy from $ 1.5 to $ 8, very tasty. Dinner at a restaurant for 5 people = $ 27.

Souvenirs and other goods

Souvenirs from $ 1 to $ 30 and their quality is poor. Pleased with the prices of leather jackets) So a men's jacket with bargaining will cost you from $ 80 to $ 120. Women's from $ 60 to $ 100. A big plus is that you choose the design yourself. You can show a photo and they will sew it for you in a maximum of two days. They can even be brought to the hotel if you have a flight in the morning and you do not have time to pick up your item. You can buy jackets in bulk up to 10 pieces per person. Clothes are overpriced. For example, one cap is sold for $ 5, after bargaining I bought 3 caps for $ 5) You should not be shy and do it better for girls))) Oh, how the locals love to flirt.

Cost of services and entertainment

Sharm El Sheikh is very convenient in terms of transport. You want to rent it, but you want food on a minibus for 5 liras per person or taxi. Taxis and minibuses are a separate attraction) You also need to bargain with taxi drivers and at that seriously. For example, from our hotel to the old market 7.5 km. The minibus is 5 liras, and the taxi driver might want $ 5. But don't believe it. $ 2 will be more than enough for him.

February holiday experience

The sea is not the warmest. When you enter the water, you need to get used to it for a long time. But then she seems comfortable. And you can sit in it, that is, swim and dive, for a very long time.

At noon on the beach (if it is sheltered from the wind) it gets hot.

A cool breeze blows in the mornings and evenings. Sometimes he "walks" in the daytime. You have to throw windbreakers on your shoulders, put on closed shoes. In such weather, it is impossible to swim even in the heated pool. And at night it's very chilly without a blanket.

Why is it better to have a rest in October?

The heat subsides at this time, and the sea remains warm as before. It cools down very slowly.

What to take with you on vacation?

Bathing accessories, slippers, so as not to cut your feet on corals or run into a sea urchin.

You need to bring light jackets, closed shoes, trousers, because there are very chilly windy days.

Where is the best place to stay?

At the hotel on the very shore of the Red Sea. The wind is usually quieter there than in the desert. Especially if the hotel is located on the descent to the sea.

How to entertain yourself at the resort?

The main thing is to sunbathe and swim more. For this, they travel from the cold Russian winter to Egypt.

The most worthwhile excursions: to the Bedouins in the desert. With quad biking, camel riding and dinner under open air... Imagine: in Russia, snow, frost, and you are sitting in the open air on a carpet thrown on the sand, and the first stars light up above you ...

Second must-see: scuba diving.

It is believed that you will not see corals in Naama Bay hotels. But we were lucky: the sand at the hotel was poured only on the beach. He only went a few meters into the sea. Then the corals began. We didn't have to go anywhere to admire them. But don't forget: corals are very sharp. They can also literally "sting".

In order not to run into trouble, it is better to dive from the pier.

There is nothing to buy, except for souvenirs. This is not a "shopping" place.

We arrived at the so-called " Old city"in Naama Bay. I saw street cafes: shabby carpets, pillows ... No better than the poor Bedouin in the desert. And I decided that we'd rather eat in a hotel ...

Entertainment

You can go to Naama Bay. There is a beautiful promenade and the Singing Fountain. In order to look at it, crowds of tourists and locals gather at night. But it seemed to me no better and no more spectacular than the fountain in the park in my native Rostov-on-Don.

In addition to this backlit fountain, there is nothing to see there.

In addition, Naama Bay is very cold in February with windy weather. Even a jacket does not help.

Pros of staying in Naama Bay

The biggest plus is the sea! Even in February you can swim and dive. The most exciting of all excursions is swimming underwater with a regular mask and snorkel. You can spend hours looking at multi-colored mysterious corals and colorful fish. It seems that you have not plunged into the sea, but into an aquarium!

Cons of staying in Naama Bay

Lovers of walking simply have nowhere to go - there is a desert around the hotel. There is nothing to watch. It is also dangerous. Tourists are advised not to leave the hotel at all.

Should you visit Naama Bay?

This is the most affordable resort, where in February, while frosts are raging in our country, you can sunbathe.

It is worth going here for those who do not plan to leave the hotel and just want to soak up the warm sun in winter, swim and admire the underwater beauty of the Red Sea.

With its beautiful beach and first-class services and facilities, Naama Bay is developing so rapidly that even locals find it difficult to keep up with the changes. Over the years, the bay has grown from a group of beach huts and a lonely hotel to a mini-city; This is especially noticeable at night, when electric lights sparkle brightly in the desert sky. Diving and snorkeling are still the main attractions of the hotels and malls along the coastal strip; dive centers are associated with them.

Naama Bay Beach is divided into hotel-owned plots, which supposedly should be accessible to anyone, provided that they do not use the beach tents and sun loungers. Bare-breasted bathing is strictly prohibited. There are two public beaches (£ 5) which are difficult to find as they are sandwiched between Novotel and Hilton.

Luxurious out-of-town hotel complexes featuring lavish marble staircases and lush landscaped gardens are standard here, so independent travelers on a budget will have to settle in the central area and use the minibus that runs daily, or stay overnight at Pigeon House or the nearby Oazis. - it inexpensive places in Naama.

Luxury hotels can negotiate a price if you were contracted to travel in your home country, but make sure you are not in one of the "attached" hotels that offer a lower standard of accommodation and have to cross the highway to get to the sea ...

By the way, some diving colleges rent rooms to divers enrolled in their courses. Central Red Sea Diving College is located on the beach; there are interconnecting rooms, as well as dormitories with air conditioning; serves breakfast, cost $ 20 per person. Oonas Divers in the northern part of the bay also has air-conditioned rooms with balconies and great views; guests are allowed to use the beach and pool neighboring hotel Sonesta.

One of the best diving centers in Naama is attached to the Camel Dive Club. This is a small, friendly four star hotel located right in the center of Naama Bay, on the main street one block from the beach. Air-conditioned rooms with satellite TV and a rooftop Camel Bar, very popular with divers. If you have your own car, you can camp in Ras Muhammad.

Location: on the northern outskirts of Naama Bay on the coast.

Diving courses and excursions in Naama Bay

The appeal of Naama lies in the abundance of dive centers that offer a wide variety of courses, trips and equipment rentals. While they are generally all good, their prices and styles of work vary, so it's worth taking a closer look. Absolute beginners can take a test pre-dive; in most places it costs 50 euros including equipment.

The five-day diving courses begin with theoretical lessons in classrooms, followed by the first dives in the hotel's swimming pool or from the shore at Naama Bay or Shark Bay, and end with several boat dives. Anemone Dive Center offers one of the cheapest open-water PADI courses in Naama (300 euros + 30 euros per certificate), while at Emperor it all costs 330 euros (plus 35 euros per certificate).

You can also study to be an instructor or take special courses like night diving or underwater navigation (200-400 euros). Almost all diving, with the exception of courses, is done from yachts, dive centers offer a wide variety of daily boat trips to the dive sites. A one-day diving in places like Ras Nasrani costs 40-50 euros, includes two dives, and trips further out to sea to the Gordon and Jackson reefs in the Tiran or Ras Mohammed Strait will cost you 50-60 euros.

Please be aware that entry to Ras Mohammed costs an additional € 5 and a full Egyptian visa is required, so visitors with only a Sinai visa are not allowed to dive there. A one-day excursion to the sunken English transport "Thistelgorm" with two dives costs 110 euros with Anthias or 125 euros for a two-day excursion (including equipment). Seats are vacant, snorkelling enthusiasts can join any yacht for around € 25.

If you want to do a variety of boat dives, contracting a diving package is the way to go. Five days (10 dives) costs about 240 euros, if booked in advance, a discount is given. The price does not include lunch on board (£ 30). Some companies include in the contract the cost of equipment rental, others do not. If not, include an additional € 25 per day in your expenses.

For many divers, multi-day yacht cruises are the best way to get as much of the Red Sea as possible. You can get to the least visited sites and do up to five dives a day, not two as the daily excursions suggest. It may even be cheaper than staying at a hotel and buying a diving package separately, the average cost is about 100 euros per person per day, including a full course on a boat with 4-8 air-conditioned cabins: airport transfers, diving equipment and alcoholic drinks are usually paid extra.

  • Snorkeling and water sports

While diving is the main activity in Naama Bay, snorkeling is less in demand but just as enjoyable. If you've never done this before and find snorkeling uncomfortable, try swimming among the small reefs near the shore, where the waters are waist-deep. By the time you swim around the reef and see the abundance of fish colored in all the rainbow hues, snorkeling will seem like a lot of fun and you will want to move on to the larger reefs.

Unfortunately, unless you join a diving yacht to get to distant places (which is a very relaxing way to travel), visiting the local reefs will require a walk, which is essential. drinking water, a hat and suitable footwear. It is wiser to set out early in the morning when the sea is usually the calmest, this is important as you will be sailing over the sharp reefs. The best reefs - known as coral gardens - stretch several miles north of Naama Bay. They don't attract a large number divers (they consider them secondary in comparison with the Tower (Tower) or Shark Bay), but are ideal for snorkeling.

Just look for a safe slope away from cliffs and the smallest and flatest reef bank, with dark water beyond. Keep in mind that people often like to sail in glass bottom boats in these areas, so be careful when in the water. Nearby Gardens can be reached on foot following the coastline behind the Oonas Dive Center. Falling plumbly down into invisible depths, the reef forms columns and bizarre "inlays" teeming with angelfish, parrotfish and blue snapper. From here you can reach the equally marvelous Middle and Far Gardens by heading further up the coast.

You can visit other sites for a fee, with several agencies organizing overland snorkeling routes in the Nabq mangroves or boat excursions to the less popular reefs in Ras Muhammad, Ras Nasrani or Shark Bay. Sun and Fun Company, with branches in many hotels in Naama Bay and beach kiosks near the Hilton, offers a full day boat excursion to Ras Muhammad or Tiran for € 20 (plus € 5 entry), and Fanous Moto Safari organizes excursions for snorkeling in the Near and Far Gardens and the White Knights. A full day overland trip to Nabq, including Shark Bay and, costs $ 80.

In addition to snorkeling, most coastal hotels offer a large selection. aquatic species sports including sailing, windsurfing (instructors at your disposal), water skiing, motorcycle, parasailing and pedalo. There are also glass-bottomed boats that allow you to observe the depths of the sea without diving into the water: Sun and Fun organizes boat excursions every two hours during the day (1 hour 30 minutes; £ 60, for children - £ 35) ...

  • Overland travel and safari

To see the wonders hidden in the desert, safari companies and travel agencies organize trips by jeeps, camels, motorcycles and ATVs. Some of the most popular jeep day trips are the mangrove and snorkeling in Nabq (Sun and Fun offers a half-day trip for $ 30); 4WD trip to the Colored Canyon, followed by snorkeling in either Dahab or in; and (overnight trip, which includes an ascent to Mount Sinai, cost $ 50).

Closer to Naama is Wadi Mandar, which can be visited at sunset on a jeep ($ 25) or camel ride ($ 25 including tea, $ 35 including dinner). If you see that the trips are under-advertised, then perhaps they involve traveling by bus rather than jeep. A little further inland along the road is Wadi Ain Kid, a long canyon that ends in an oasis with palm trees, a well and a Bedouin farm; evening tours cost around $ 60 including dinner with Bedouins. Several companies also offer excursions to Serabit el Hadim and Hammam Faraun.

For longer desert trips, it is best to turn to the experienced Madian Adventure Company, one of the most experienced guides in the area, offering jeep safaris and mountain trekking from $ 60 per person per day. All of these companies also offer the day trips described above, although many of these locations, other than Nabq, Wadi Mandar and Wadi Ain Kid, are cheaper to travel from Nuweiba or Dahab. Horseback riding in the desert can be arranged at the equestrian center in Sofitel, where desert rides cost $ 25 an hour and overnight rides from $ 100 and up. The most authentic is the Bedouin-guided camel ride, which can be booked through Pigeon House for about $ 40 for a couple of hours.

ATVs, also known as all-terrain vehicles, are one of the most popular ways to get around in the desert. Canyon Safari at Pigeon House rents out ATVs ($ 30 per person per hour; $ 20 per person) and also organizes the popular sunset ride ($ 40 per person; $ 28 per person) that takes two hours together with a stop for tea with Bedouins. Other ATV excursions include a six-hour trip to Nabq with lunch ($ 130 for two; $ 110 for one) and a Bedouin dinner ride ($ 65 for two and $ 45 for one).

If you fancy taking a chance and driving on your own, you can rent a Jeep for $ 90 a day at Avis, Morgana Mall. Prices for smaller cars such as the Ford Fiesta start at $ 35 per day; go to Bita Car Rental at Falcon Hotel; Hertz opposite the Cairo Bank in Hadaba; if you are in or around Shark Bay, check out Budget at Coral Bay behind the airport. If you only need a moped to get around Naama Bay, they are available for $ 15 an hour or $ 50 a day at the Red Sea Sports Center, located behind the Hilton. Keep in mind that unaccompanied foreigners are prohibited from leaving the roads as there are still many unexploded landmines in Sinai.

Other things to do in Naama Bay

Thrill seekers can try kart racing on the Ghibili Raceway on Airport Road in front of the Hyatt Regency. For $ 25 during the day or $ 35 in the evening (before 1:00), you can complete 10 rounds in a circle of one of four racing circuits, including one for children over 7 years old; all beginners will have to go through training sessions. If you still have enough energy, head to the nearby Sinai Extreme Park or MAS bowling alley (7 pm-1: 00 pm daily; £ 25 per game) for banjes and trampolines, a few hundred meters south of the Hard Rock Cafe. Children will also be delighted with the dolphin show at Dolphinella in Sharm El Sheikh.

  • Shopping in Naama Bay

A large number of alleys with shops and lively bazaars attract tourists. Here you can find almost the same as in stores or, but more low prices... There are some interesting shops: Aladdin at Camel Dive Club Hotel(which has another branch at Falcon El-Diar, further down the street on the opposite side) and Bashayer at Sharm Mall behind Red Sea Diving College, both deserve to be dropped by for art and handicrafts, mainly from Upper Egypt. The neighboring Karkade, opposite the Cataract Hotel, has a large selection of oils, spices and herbs, plus an interesting collection of antiques. These stores also have branches in Sharm El Maya.

  • Restaurants and cafes in Naama Bay

There are no really cheap places to eat and drink in Naama Bay, and those that are usually called inexpensive can only be considered relatively cheap. On the other hand, the food quality is quite high if you like hotel-style cuisine, which ranges from Egyptian and Italian seafood to Japanese and Thai.

Prices tend to be higher at establishments in the coastal areas, where each hotel offers at least one restaurant on the beach, and along the inland street outside the Sanafir and Camel Dive Club hotels, both of which are packed with holidaymakers and Egyptian barkers.

For a beachfront meal, head to the Hilton Italian restaurant or the seafood restaurant at Bedovin Camp in Shark Bay. For snacks and desserts, head to Jolie Ville bakery at the north end of the street next to McDonald's for sweet and gooey treats and an espresso (£ 9).

Alcoholic drinks are widely available at European prices, perhaps more than anywhere else in Egypt; The duty free shop in front of Kahramana (11: 00-14: 00 and 18: 00-23: 00 daily) sells cheap liquor, although you can only shop for duty free within 24 hours of arriving at. A favorite starting point for the evening is the Camel Dive Bar at the Camel Dive Club, a pleasant bar full of flags and T-shirts and peanut husks on the floor.

The main gathering place for British expatriates is the Tavern Pub, which turns into a bar at night and then into a disco; and The Mexican Bar (13:00 - midnight), next to the Na'ama Inn, under the cliff at the end of the main street, with a local DJ. Locals prefer to gather at the Pirates Bar with a nautical theme in the Hilton (happy hour 17: 30-19: 30), where they can also eat, and the cafe at Iberotel Lido - perfect place to watch the sunset over Naama Bay. Along the beach road are cocktail bars attached to the resorts - the Havana Cafe and Flame Bar, both behind the Hilton, are well worth a look at.

The main nightclub in Naama Bay is Sanafir, which features a variety of nightlife entertainment. An oriental show kicks off at 9:30 pm, featuring mostly Russian belly dancers, costing £ 50 if you don't dine at one of their restaurants, while the rooftop Star Talks bar is popular with romantically minded vacationers. Sanafir also houses the hippest club in Naama, Bus Stop (£ 50 including one drink), where the fun starts around midnight and continues until 3:00. On Fridays it organizes short trip at The Echo Temple in the desert at the foot of the Sinai Mountains (145 lbs).

The equally popular Pacha club (£ 190) shares the same territory with Bus Stop, but they have different entrances. Sanafir's main competitor is the Hard Rock Cafe, which is especially popular among Italians (disco every day 20:00 - until 2-3:00). Other discos such as Black House Disco at Rosetta and Cactus at Movenpick are popular with the hotel staff; Salsa with a Latin American theme next to the Hard Rock Cafe. All of them are rarely lively before midnight. Many hotel bars, including Kahramana and Sanafir, have pool tables. If you want to devote an evening to Egyptian customs, there are countless coffee shops lined up on the main street outside Sanafir, serving shisha (shisha), oriental drinks, and watching the locals.

The best shisha in town can be smoked at Panorama's outdoor café, where steps that climb the hillside lead to secluded corners with tables, sofas and great views; Shisha comes in a variety of flavors and costs £ 10. There are also several casinos in Naama Bay that open late at night, including the Casino Royale in Movenpick, and one in Sonesta, where you will need to show your passport upon entry. There is also a cinema at the Safir Hotel, by the airport road, where you can watch new Hollywood films for £ 20.

Naama Bay has long been a favorite vacation spot Russian tourists... To fully experience the whole gamut of resort pleasures, of course, is possible only on the seashore. Hospitable Egypt offers a choice of two seas for an unforgettable vacation: the Mediterranean and the Red. But it is the Red Sea that deservedly enjoys the greatest popularity among holidaymakers from all over the world: it is the warmest and cleanest sea on the whole planet, and its indescribable beauty underwater world if it does, it is a very small number of rivals. Like a precious necklace, various resorts adorn the shores of the Red Sea. However, there is one resort that is strikingly different from the others for the better. In addition to all kinds of water activities, it also offers a complete set of endless activities on land. The resort town is located in the south Sinai Peninsula and it is called Sharm El Sheikh... The Naama Bay area is rightfully recognized as its unofficial center. The peculiar Egyptian Las Vegas is the most attractive destination for tourists along the entire coast. Only in this place can you get a real one - in no way inferior European resorts- round-the-clock drive and high-level service.

Entertainment on the main street of Naama Bay

The three-kilometer pedestrian avenue is the main attraction of the area Naama Bay... The main artery of the area is an uninterrupted supply of a whole kaleidoscope of entertainment. He really wakes up, lighting up numerous recruiting signs, in the late afternoon. Noisy discos attract tourists and even Egyptians from other cities. Excellent sound and excellent organization of parties with enchanting show programs make the money question not very relevant: it is expensive, of course, but the inevitable opportunity to really come off is worth it, and after all, no one forbids bargaining!
For those who like to spend calmer evenings, the doors of restaurants, bars and relatively quiet cafes are hospitably thrown open. You can visit an elite restaurant with exquisite expensive cuisine or, choosing an Arabian-style cafe, relax on sofa cushions with a hookah accompanied by local tunes. Well-known fast food chains will give you the opportunity to refresh yourself in the event that plans for the evening are in no way connected with long gatherings in establishments. If you cannot imagine your life without such - dear to the heart of every European - establishments as McDonald's, Starbucks or Hard Rock cafes, then it will not be difficult to find them in the Naama Bay area. There are also establishments of a slightly different nature - the so-called seafoods, where the visitor pays only for seafood, everything else - and salads, and side dishes, and sweets, and tea, coffee, and hookah - he gets completely free. You have to bargain here too! And in Naama Bay there is one of the two in Sharm El Sheikh duty-free - the choice here is much better than in the Old Town, where, by the way, there is the second similar establishment in the resort. Duty free feature in Egypt- the fact that you can shop here only in the first 24 hours after arrival.
This street is also home to the city's largest casino, which will undoubtedly lure fans to try their luck. After reviewing the price list and the proposed entertainment program, you can definitely find a place to your liking and at the planned cost.
On the same avenue are located the famous retail outlets in the resort. There are supermarkets, boutiques of world famous brands with fixed prices, and numerous souvenir shops, and even an oriental bazaar. Here, bargaining is not only appropriate, but vital. The process of buying and selling on the Egyptian market implies a full-fledged "theatrical stage": you just need to adjust in time to the rules of this game. The actor's use of alternating lines or gestures of little interest, surprise at the price, disappointment, and subsequent ostentatious indifference guarantees a win-win deal. The atmosphere of bargaining should not be tense, bringing joy to both parties. The merchants respect the buyer who is able to significantly reduce the price - do not forget about it! The little thing he likes, though it turns out to be with him, but its value with skillful bargaining can be reduced several times.
Although the Arabs are friendly towards vacationers, the prices are initially greatly inflated, since this kind of business sometimes the only source of income. It is worth noting that you never need to take a wallet with the entire amount of money available, credit cards and other valuables: in any busy place, no one is insured against pickpocketing - Naama Bay, unfortunately, is no exception.

Accommodation in Naama Bay hotels

Most chic hotels, with at least 4 stars, is located on the first line to the sea - in the very center of the district. Hotel complexes made in a variety of styles: there are both absolutely European and imitating a traditional Arab village. However, they are invariably united by the highest level of service and a beautiful comfortable territory, without even going beyond which you get almost the entire range of entertainment. Restaurants, SPA centers, tennis courts, volleyball courts, GYM's, billiard rooms, casinos and swimming pools - these are far from all the amenities provided in closed areas. Of course, if the hotel is located by the sea, then it also has a private beach. Naama Bay beaches they offer not only lazy pastime in sun loungers under a beach umbrella that saves the heat, but also all kinds of water activities. And if it suddenly turns out that the hotel is a little crowded or boring, then the bustling life around the clock is literally within walking distance - you just need to go out on the walking avenue, and you get to its epicenter.

Beach rest and sea activities

This cheerful street ends with the main purpose of the trip - beautiful beaches, for which Naama Bay is famous. Unlike most resorts in the Red Sea, the coastal zone here is cleared of corals in places. The peculiarity of the calm sea here makes possible a number of water activities, including jet skis, bananas, catamarans, and boats with glass bottom, and water attractions, and parachutes, and, of course, diving. Indescribable coral reefs, if not removed on purpose, are right off the coast. In order to get into the multi-colored underwater "garden", you do not need to swim anywhere - as in other resorts. Having admired the amazing underwater inhabitants, you can again bask on the golden sand, surrounded by palm trees and sip freshly squeezed juice, and after half an hour again dive into the incredibly warm azure sea.
If you go by boat to boat trip then the Red Sea will open like real paradise for scuba diving enthusiasts. In addition to amazing reefs, there will be an opportunity to view sunken ships. And all this with the tickling neighborhood of the inhabitants of the depths. Experienced instructors guarantee maximum diving safety for divers with different backgrounds and a lot of unforgettable impressions, because the Red Sea is one of the most spectacular places in this regard.

Children's entertainment

Vacationers with children will also easily find places where neither children nor themselves will be bored. The Hollywood entertainment complex lives up to its name. Children's playground, Jurassic Park, figures of cartoon characters, singing fountains and other children's activities will surely interest young travelers. And for their parents, besides shopping center, restaurants and cafes, there is a concert stage on which performances of pop stars - both Egyptian and foreign - take place. A beautiful modern complex, no worse than in many megacities, will give the whole family of vacationers a full opportunity to feel themselves in a familiar environment.
You can also visit "Cleo-Park" with children; it is interesting not so much for the variety of water slides as for its peculiar design. Its territory, including the slides, is stylized as Ancient Egypt... For example, you can raise the spray by rolling with egyptian pyramid, or collapse with a stream of water into the canyon. A decent choice of entertainment for kids won't let them get bored quickly.

Anyway, but Naama Bay- primarily, perfect place recreation for young and active people. After all, how much effort is needed in order not to miss anything from the available "assortment" of pastime. The regime of the day is approximately the following: in the afternoon - the sea beckons, in the evening - rest under the air conditioner on a bed or a walk around the city, closer to night - unrestrained fun until the morning, then - a little sleep and again the sea. And every day of rest - even if this regimen is observed - will be different from others. Consequently, in order to taste all the entertainment of Naama Bay, it will take enough time, and their ranks are constantly replenished with new and unexplored places for recreation. It is safe to say that this Sharm el-Sheikh area it never gets bored, and tourists who love it come back here more than once.

I really liked the hospitality of the staff, the animators of the show program and the wonderful tour agent Fox, who will tell and send on the most worthwhile excursions. Almost all the hotel staff speaks Russian. Luxurious location. Located right in the city center with all the shops, bars and discos. The hotel has its own beach, with all the attractions and amenities. The hotel is very cozy and large. Thank you for a wonderful stay !!! ❤❤❤❤❤

An unprecedented number of screaming Arab babies. I was not ready for this. There is only drinking water in the bar of the room. The absence of the TV channel Russia 24. I spoke about this many times.

Weather, animation, restaurant and bar staff!

The air conditioner in the room emitted tram sounds, so we had to choose: either coolness or silence!

Location (to the sea you need to go through the main entrance and the street, about 300m). Overall good!

Was a family at this hotel from May 9th to May 21st 2019. Booked the hotel through booking (two rooms are the same: for two adults and one child). The hotel answered emails quickly. More specifically, the requests were about a transfer from the airport, as well as a baby cot to one of the rooms, how much money in $ we had to pay upon check-in. Well, everything seemed to be discussed and calmly, without any bad thoughts (since this is not the first time we come to the hotel), we flew on a long-awaited vacation. At the airport we were greeted with no problems. The things were unloaded, and then our night and two-hour "fun" began. They put bracelets on us. And then at the reception, the manager working that night from May 9 to May 10 began to inform us that we had not booked the rooms correctly and had to pay $ 400, since our booking did not correspond to what it actually was. Having dealt with them for a long time, the amount was reduced to $ 200. All attempts to explain that there was no such reservation and we, as we agreed on a certain amount, will continue to pay ... In general, after the calls to booking, we found out everything ... made changes and settled us. In general, I don’t know how to consider it: night ... a baby ... tired from the road ... they will pay nowhere to go !!! The rest went well ... the request to relocate from the central building (since it is always very loud and noisy there) to the bungalow was not ignored, as soon as the room was vacated, we were immediately relocated ... but again the manager tried very hard that during the relocation one did not take into account the moment that we are with a stroller and the bungalow is three-story and settled us on the second floor ... when asked to give the first floor so as not to carry the stroller up the stairs, it was said to come back tomorrow ... okay, my spouse and I spat better we revile the stroller rather than move again and spend half a day ... Well, in conclusion, when it was time to go back .. ordered a transfer to the airport through the hotel, the price of $ 15 was negotiated ... after driving off 5 meters, the driver stopped and began to say $ 20 and "for tea."

Sea. The location of the hotel in the heart of Sharm El Sheikh. The beach is 5 minutes walk. Nearby shops, cafes ... The food is good but monotonous in 11 days bothers: they cook meat and fish and chicken ... vegetables ... side dishes ... and of course awesome pastries (cakes, pastries, puff products).

The hotel is old. I would like to update the repair. Shabby plumbing, sewerage, bath, furniture, electrical. My husband and I go to bed early, so the cafe with karaoke on the 3rd floor interfered with us. The restaurant is of course replete with size, but the Arabs and Egyptians never learned how to cook. Well, this is purely our opinion. Bad wifi.

The hotel is located in the center of Naama. It is convenient to get to the beach (for those who do not care about the 1st line), there are many shops, cafes and other entertainment nearby. A large room, which is a plus, a spacious balcony (though you can see all the balconies of the hotel from it, because the hotel is made in the shape of the letter C), a large plasma TV.

The huge problem is the internet. Provide one-time passwords for 600 MB. Very slow. It's easier to buy a SIM card, but expensive. There were problems with the sewerage system. The cleaning was not very good, the towels from the floor were not always changed. The floor on the balcony has never been washed. The mattress and pillows are hard. Bad alcohol, coffee and powdered juices. Tea is served for breakfast only. It's sad - there are desserts for lunch and dinner, but no tea.

An excellent hotel for its modest price. Location - right in the center of Naama Bay. Check-in is fast, the room is spacious. Friendly and helpful staff, there is a Russian gestrelation service. The food is good and varied. Beautiful clean sea, sandy bottom. There are some fish. The animation is passable.

I am from Israel. For the Israelis, not all is included so you don't get confused. They refused to include alcohol, and I took all-inclusive but did not finish the small letters for the Israelis. I was asked whether there is another passport, despite the fact that I showed the foreign passport (Ukraine), but it turned out to be expired. They asked me to pay extra 15 dollars a day for alcohol. Other guests from other countries have a complete set, I do not know how the Tropitel offended the Israelis, there are not so many of them there. I will not return to this hotel again. The food is monotonous. Need repairs in the rooms does not pull on the top five.

The Internet is just one big catastrophe, wifi is only in the forehead and every time you need to run after a new password, it seems like 5 stars and wifi is only at the reception. The breakfasts are monotonous and there are no salads for breakfast and dinner ... they put a lot of misak with vegetables and create a salad myself ... so I can do it at home :)

The location is just great! Everything is close to hotels, shops, clubs, bars ... and the hotel also has its own beach 5 minutes walk to it, there is a bar and a tent on the beach. The staff are amazing workers who speak Russian

There is no animation, just hanging out in the hall, no evening programs, Vika animator explains that there are 15 people in the hotel, however, the beach is all packed with people and there are a lot of people for dinner, they just justify the lack of evening programs, there is not even music on the beach ... while in The charm store has music throughout the bay and good music, in comparison with the Marina charm hotel, we can say that there is no animation at all, there is only morning exercises ..... the food is normal, but something with ice, it is better not to use it in drinks, we have intestinal upset was observed until we left the hotel, the rooms are normal, the beach is in poor condition, this concerns umbrellas, old sun umbrellas cannot be hidden, such a star level of the hotel could make umbrellas norms
