Which beaches are clean, and where is a real trash heap. And most importantly - what is the best beach in Fukuoka. You are looking for answers to all these questions in our carefully compiled selection. As a bonus, I'll tell you about the most terrible beaches of the island, where even out of curiosity you shouldn't go.

Phu Quoc Island boasts 140 kilometers of beaches of varying degrees of cleanliness and service. We've prepared an overview of the seven best beaches in Fukuoka based on personal experience of residence on the island and reviews of tourists for 2017 - 2018. The beaches of Phu Quoc Island are characterized by smooth descent into the water and low waves, so they are ideal for families.

Long Beach Phu Quoc

This beach is the first to meet the guests of the island, as it starts in the capital, the city of Zuongduong and stretches south to the town of Anthoi. Long Beach (long beach) fully justifies its name: its length is 20 kilometers. A small rocky area divides it into two parts - South Long Beach and North Long Beach. The beach is very beautiful, with golden sand and a smooth entrance to the water. The area near hotels and resorts is being cleaned up, so the state of the coast is just excellent.

Ong Lang Phu Quoc Beach

Ong Lang Beach in Fukuoka is a popular and developed beach about two kilometers long with many resorts and cafes. The Ong Lang area is suitable for a relaxing holiday or long-term stay, bungalows and rooms are rented in the area. The sand on the beach is yellow, fine-grained, the water is clear, blue-green. In several places there are rocky outcrops with rich underwater world which can be seen by snorkelling. Larches and palms, many weeping willows and poplars grow along the coast.

Khem beach Phu Quoc

Khem Beach, also known as Bai Khem, is another Phu Quoc beach with excellent sand and clear water that is not easy to get to. Khem Beach, with its perfect white sand, is known as one of the most beautiful spots on the entire island and is freely accessible only to guests of the fashionable Marriott Hotel. But you can get on northern part beach with free access to water, as well as a small fishing village.

Bai Sao Phu Quoc Beach (Sao Beach, Sao Beach Phu Quoc)

Bai Sao Beach is one of the three most beautiful beaches in Vietnam, and the top beaches South-East Asia... It is located on the east coast of Fukuoka in the southern part of the island. This respectable place seems to have come out of a picture of a tropical bliss. Excellent location for family vacation, lying relaxed in the shade of an umbrella and in the evening with a glass of wine in the rays of the setting sun. On the beach, fine as flour White sand, and the water is so transparent that even at a depth you can see everything that happens at the bottom.

Starfish beach Phu Quoc

Starfish beach (Beach with starfish in Fukuoka) is located in the north of the island about 20 kilometers from the island's capital Zuongduong. It is not easy to get to, but the experience of staying fully compensates for the difficult road. The beach has white fine sand, and large shoals, with a huge number of starfish at the bottom.

Be sure to take a snorkel with you for diving, without them it will be difficult to enjoy the animal world. The beach has several restaurants perched on stilts, the boardwalks protrude far out into the sea, and dining overlooking the water can be a pleasant highlight of the day.

Vung Bau beach

Vung Bau Beach (Vung Bau) is located on west coast Phu Quoc Island, north of Ong Lang Beach, 20 kilometers from the island's capital, Zuongdong. This is a deserted wild beach, where you can sunbathe in what your mother gave birth, and not be constrained by observers around. This freedom has a downside, in the form of a muddy beach, but the beach is long enough and it is not a problem to find a clean piece.

Zai beach (Vinperl beach, Bai Dai beach)

Bai Dai Beach, or “Zai Beach, to use the Russian transcription, is located between Vung Bau Beach and the village of Gandau on the west coast of Phucco. This beach delights visitors to the Vinperl resort. It is almost impossible to enter the territory from the side of the resort, even in spite of the Vietnamese law. You can pretend to be a guest, but they have special hotel cards, and you can only hope for luck. Despite the routine, some part of the beach is open to all comers and you can have a great time here.

Anti-rating of beaches.

The dirtiest and smelly beach on the island is of course Cua Kanh, it is located near the village of the same name and there is nothing to do there. Dirty shore, heaps of garbage and broken boats. We do not advise you to go, it is better to spend time on the beaches from our selection, so you will only leave good impression about rest in Fukuoka.

Phu Quoc located in the calm waters of the Gulf of Thailand, is the largest island Vietnam and the site of the best beaches in the country. But this does not mean that they are all equally good. The range here is extremely wide - from a piece of paradise to a garbage dump.

On the mainland of Vietnam, many try to visit one of the best beaches in Vietnam - Doklet. On Fukuoka the choice of a place for recreation will be more: sandy and rocky, equipped and wild, with a developed infrastructure and completely unsuitable for beach holiday.

Tourism industry on Fukuoka is now developing at an accelerated pace - a new international airport has opened, additional ferry terminals are being built, leading hotel chains the world began building hotels.

For the foreseeable future, beaches Fukuoka will belong to one or another hotel, and some of them are likely to be cleaner and better equipped. In the meantime, 150 km of coastline make it possible to find a corner for every taste.

Fukuoka beaches

On Fukuoka the most famous are 10 beaches, which differ markedly from each other in the level of comfort, development of tourist infrastructure and cleanliness.

Bai Dai Beach

Dai Beach located in the northwest of the island Phu Quoc... A few years ago it was one of the most untouched by civilization beaches in the world, and now it is home to one of the best chain hotels in Vietnam - Vinpearl Phu Quoc Resort 5 *.

True, this will not prevent you, if you wish, from finding secluded sections of the beach with untouched nature.

Beach Bai Dai still clean, covered with yellow loose sand. The most uninhabited idyllic stretches of the beach are closer to the beach and opposite the Turtle Island (Hon Doi Moi Island).

Turtle Island (Hon Doi Moi Island) is where diving and snorkelling enthusiasts go and is home to a famous dive site.

The sea here is warm, with a gentle sunset, without currents, with water of various shades from blue to green. The beach strip is not wide, in some areas the casaurin (eolian tree) comes close to the beach.

Beach Dai Beach ideal for children and those who cannot swim.

There are small restaurants along the coast in the hamlet Ganh dau(with still low prices).

Vung Bau Beach

Wung Bau one of the least crowded beaches - except for a couple of small restaurants, you will not find anything here. It is located south of the beach.

The beach is about 4.5 km long and is surrounded by tall grass, palms and casaurines.
The sea is calm in the dry season and quite aggressive in the rainy season. The entrance to the water is shallow with a gradually increasing depth.

On this beach, not only starfish, shells are not uncommon, but also sea urchins, so be careful, watch your step.

Close to the beach Wung Bau there are several small hotels (you can also have a snack there):

  • Bamboo cottages(with its own private beach, luxurious rooms)
  • Vung Bau Resort(gorgeous beach + reasonable price)
  • Mai Phuong Phu Quoc Resort(comfortable beach + reasonable price)

Ong Lang Beach

Beach Ong Lang is located on the west coast of the island between the village of Ganh Dau and the main city of the island - Duong Dong.

Ong Lang noticeably different from other beaches: the beach strip here is periodically interrupted by sections of rocks and stones. Here you can observe not only beautiful sunsets the west coast of the island, but also numerous fishing boats crossing the beach with cows.

The beach is covered with light yellow loose sand, quite clean (hotel staff regularly clean their areas), limited by palm trees and casaurines.

The sea here is clear, green-blue, calm, with a gentle entry into the water, at the beginning of the high season (November - December), occasionally there may be jellyfish.

Along the beach Ong Lang there are a lot of small hotels, guest houses, restaurants, fast food outlets. If you need more variety in restaurants and shops, then go to Duong Dong - 15 minutes and you are there.

Ganh Dau Beach

Beach Gan Bau Beach is located at the northern tip of Phu Quoc Island, near the village of Ganh Dau. Gan Bau Beach It has the shape of a horseshoe, is surrounded by forests, and is covered by low mountains on both sides.

The sand on the beach is yellow, with a significant admixture of ground coral. The sea here is calm, inhabited by various living creatures (thanks to the presence of corals and stones) - if you wish, you can watch crabs, shellfish, and various fish. Opposite the beach you can see the coast of Cambodia (Mount Ta Lon). Nearby are National park Fukuoka and Nguyen Trung Truc Temple worth visiting.

Right on the beach Gan Bau Beach there are two restaurants where you can taste seafood or national Vietnamese cuisine (the cost of meals starts from 100,000VND). In the village itself you can taste traditional Vietnamese food for 35,000 VND. As of March 2016, there was not a single working ATM here.

There are no hotels on the beach, but you can stay at Ganh Dau.

Sao & Khem Beaches (Bai Sao and Bai Khem)

Beach Sao Beach is located in the southeast of the island, 7 km from the town of An Thoi. This is one of the best beaches not only in Vietnam, but throughout Southeast Asia.

Sao Beach is famous for its white sand - very much like the beaches of the Caribbean.

The best section of the beach is next to the restaurant Paradiso(formerly it was called “No Problem”). In the southern part of the beach, the sand is yellow, coarser, and clean beach difficult to name. Several years ago it was perfect, but now you can see the consequences of its popularity - some areas are covered with debris.

The sea here has a characteristic turquoise hue, shallow (to a depth of more than 100 m).

In the sea you can see many fry of fish, crustaceans, sometimes squid, in September - October there are many starfish near the coast.

Today on the beach Sao Beach you will find many restaurants, bars, small hotels, excursion bureaus, boat and kayak rentals, windsurfing and kitesurfing centers.

Beach Bai Khem located next door, known for its white sand. Until 2014, this part of the island was closed to tourists (there were military facilities here). Now access is free, but contrary to what is written about the beach on the Internet, it cannot be considered comfortable: the coastal waters are rich in fish, shrimps, anchovies, and this has led to the fact that the largest fish market is located here. Anyone who has been to similar markets in Vietnam at least once knows that there is no need to talk about cleanliness here.

In the near future, the authorities plan to close the fish market here and convert the beach exclusively for tourism.

Long Beach

Long Beach It is the epicenter of a beach holiday in Fukuoka - 20 km of golden sand, turquoise sea and gorgeous sunsets.

The beach is located on the west coast of the island just 10 minutes drive from international airport... It is comfortable to sunbathe, swim, practice here. aquatic species sports, relax and just bask in the sun.

Numerous hotels, restaurants, shops stretch along the entire beach. Vendors right on the beach will offer you drinks, fruits, seafood.

The beach is conventionally divided into 2 parts: north and south.

North of Long Beach has a length of 5 km, starts at the Eden Resort (in Duong Dong, near the new airport) and ends at the rocks near the Trang An Phu Quoc Hotel.

South of Long Beach stretches for 15 km, includes a series of small local beaches (Xep Beach, Dai Do Beach, Duong Co Beach, Duong Xanh Beach, and Vuon Dua Beach). It is not so crowded here, the infrastructure is somewhat less developed than in the northern part. It is worth going here for those who are looking for peace and quiet.

Low population of the southern part of the beach Long Beach a temporary phenomenon - large-scale construction of large tourist complexes begins here (by 2020, construction is already planned to be completed).

Rach Tram & Rach Vem Beaches

Both beaches are located in the north of the island, surrounded by tropical jungle. The beaches are little visited by tourists - the roads to them are unpaved, the tourist infrastructure is not developed, luxurious nature and heaps of garbage on the shore in the form of broken boats, old nets, plastic boxes, etc. In general, these beaches are waiting for the master's hand.

Thom Beach

Thom Beach located in the north of the island - very quiet and calm beach surrounded by thickets of cashews (hazel). You can get here only by a dirt road, the infrastructure is poorly developed, but inexpensive small hotels are still available.

The sea in the beach area Thom Beach small, ebb tides are noticeable.

In the future, construction is planned here tourist center.

Cua Can Beach

Beach Kua Kan Beach is located on the west coast of the island between the beaches in the south and in the north. At this point, the Kua Kan River flows into the Gulf of Thailand, forming many shoals with thickets of casuarinas. This place is not very suitable for swimming, with the exception of small sections of the beach.

Vong Beach

Beach Wong Beach the first one seen by guests arriving on the island by water: there is a ferry terminal, where they arrive from the mainland. From the island's capital Doung Dong - 8 km, nearby is the village of Ham Ninh.

The surrounding nature looks much nicer than the beach itself, especially considering that two additional berths are currently under construction.

The sea is shallow here, jellyfish are often found. It is unlikely that you will have a desire to rent a house in this part of the island, but it is quite possible to taste seafood.

Fukuoka hotel map

(by moving the mouse on the map, you can see hotels along the entire coast)

Phu Quoc is awesome beautiful island in the very south of Vietnam, the largest in the country. In the northern part of the island there are mainly mountains and forests, but the southern part of Fukuoka is better known for its beaches.

Soft sand, clear sea and seclusion can be found on almost all beaches in Fukuoka. So which one to choose for a vacation? The best way- visit everyone! I made a short overview of the best beaches in Phu Quoc Island. Which one will be the first on your list is up to you.

Long Beach

Long Beach in Fukuoka

On the west side of Fukuoka, you will find big beach called Long Beach. It is impossible to pass by it, because it is here that most of the hotels and resorts of the island are located. The beach on this side stretches for about 5 km, south of the capital Fukuoka, Dong Dong. You can relax on any beach. They do not belong to hotels, and no one will kick you out.

Ganh Dau Beach

Gan Dau beach in Fukuoka

This beach is located at the top of the island on the northwest coast, if you look at the map of Fukuoka. It is about 28 km from Dong Dong. To get to the beach, you need to drive past a Vietnamese village, and soon you will find yourself in a paradise. Silence, tranquility and beauty. There is only one local restaurant on the entire beach, so no one will bother you to enjoy the sea and peace. In the restaurant, by the way, you can eat good seafood.

Bai Sao (Sao Beach)

Bai Sao beach in Fukuoka

On the east side of Phu Quoc Island is one of the most beautiful beaches on the island. Getting there is a little more difficult than getting to Long Beach. It is best to navigate by using the map or take a taxi. There are practically no signs on the roads of Fukuoka. Bai Sao is a rather secluded place. There are only a few restaurants and guesthouses, but they are located at a sufficient distance from each other. If you want a party, you better head to Long Beach.

Cua Can

Kua Kan beach in Fukuoka

This Fukuoka beach is not very well known to tourists, although it is located only 8 km north of Duong Dong city on the west coast of the island for fishing village... You can get there by boat or ride over rickety wooden bridges on a bike. The car will not go there.

Bai Thom

Bai Thom beach in Fukuoka

This Fukuoka beach may not be as beautiful as Bai Sao, but it has its own unique charm. In addition, there you can arrange a nude photo shoot or make love right under a palm tree. It is not often possible to meet someone there. Absolutely uninhabited place. This beach is located at the extreme point of the northeast of the island, about 35 km from Dong Dong. The best way to get there is by bike.

Bai Vong Beach

Bai Wong beach in Fukuoka

Bai Wong is located on the east coast of Fukuoka about 8 km from the island's capital, about halfway to Bai Sao Beach. There is also white sand and in general it is very beautiful. Several restaurants serving local Vietnamese cuisine are hidden under the palm trees. They serve delicious fresh seafood and fresh juices. It will not be difficult to get to Bai Wong by bike.

Take a look. With its help, you can decide from which beach of the island to start your voyage.

Fukuoka beaches are the main attraction of the island. There are really many of them in a relatively small area, and each deserves attention: the huge Long Beach, and the cozy Gan Dau, and the advertised Sao Beach, and the northern Thom Beach. Each of them is good in its own way, but we suggest choosing the best beach in Fukuoka. Go!

Long Beach

As the name suggests, the beach is the longest on Phu Quoc Island. It is better equipped than others for tourist vacation: developed infrastructure, not difficult to get from the center of the island. The sand here is fine, yellow, and the water is clear.

Let's start from the northern part of the beach, which is closer to the center of Duong Dong. The water here is not always clean, as there is a port nearby. Also, the approach to the sea is not particularly convenient: a concrete frame has been built here, which not only spoils photographs, but is simply dangerous. In some places, you can see huge rain drains, which are associated with sewers. Needless to say, you don't need to swim here.

However, if you go towards the eastern part of the island, the sea will become clearer and clearer, since some parts of the beach belong to hotels located on the first coastline (HanoiHotel, SalindaResortPhuQuocIsland, FamianaResort & Spa). The private beaches of Fukuoka (Vietnam) can be used by hotel guests, but the administration will not mind if you go through their territory and choose a convenient place on the shore.

The central part of the beach is the most comfortable and quiet. The entry into the sea is smooth, which will delight families with children.

The infrastructure is well developed here, there is rubbish, but not much. Getting to the center of Long Beach is not at all difficult: you can take a taxi from the city center (about 45.000 VND or $ 2) or come on foot. As for the rental of a sun lounger, this service will cost about 100,000 dong ($ 4.5). A towel and a drink are often given as a gift.

In the central part of the beach, you can dine in one of the cafes. The prices here are reasonable: a dinner by the ocean will cost 230,000 - 450,000 VND ($ 10-20).

As for the southern section of the beach, the infrastructure is less developed here, but there are also much fewer people. However, amateurs secluded relaxation it is worth hurrying up, because now this beach area is being rapidly built up with hotels and tourist centers, so an influx of foreign guests is expected here in the coming years. The highlight of the southern part of Long Beach is the large rocks that make a great backdrop for photographs.

The disadvantages of Long Beach include a large number of jellyfish and plankton (during their breeding season) that live in the sea. They are not dangerous, but not everyone is pleased to meet with them.

As you can see, Long Beach is really huge, and everyone will find their own piece of paradise here.

Coordinates on the map: 10.1886053, 103.9652003.

Bai Sao Beach

Many tourists call Bai Sao beach not only the best beach in Fukuoka, but in the whole of Vietnam. It is not difficult to find an explanation for this: the fine sand here is pearly, the water is clear, and tall palm trees grow around the beach, which complement the picture of a heavenly place. Bai Sao beach itself is not particularly long: you can get around it in 20-30 minutes.

Since Bai Sao is located in the southeast of Fukuoka, bad weather and, as a result, high waves are rare here. The most favorable months to visit are March, April, May.

As for the swimming itself, the entry into the sea is shallow, and in order for an adult to swim, it is necessary to walk several tens of meters deep into the sea. But for families with children this is a big plus: you can safely let your child go for a short walk along the coast.

However, there are also downsides. Bai Sao Beach in Fukuoka - popular place rest, so there is always rubbish, although in different quantities. Unfortunately, and locals and tourists are not particularly careful and do not care about the cleanliness of the beach. Oddly enough, it is especially dirty here in the off-season (November-January), as garbage comes from the coast of Cambodia. But in the high season, hotel staff keep an eye on the cleanliness.

The right half of Bai Sao Beach is wilder and more likely to come across rubbish. But the left one is intended for tourists, so today there are several cafes and restaurants. Also, only on the left side of Bai Sao Beach on Phu Quoc Island, you can rent a sun lounger. There is a toilet and shower.

Coordinates on the map: 10.046741, 104.035139.

How to get there: Sao Beach is located somewhat outside the main infrastructure of the island. You can get here by bike or car. Since the end of 2018, Bai Sao also visits tourist bus"Hop on - Hop off".

Ong Lang

It is a small, but very cozy and beautiful beach. It is located on the west coast of Fukuoka. Unlike other beaches of the island, the sea and coastal area are really clean, and entry into the sea is smooth. The sandy strip is quite narrow, but this disadvantage is compensated by the lack of people and big amount coconut trees on the shore. The sand is yellow, with admixtures of small coral fragments.

Ong Lang beach has a developed infrastructure: there are hotels (La Casa, May Fair Valley), cafes and restaurants, massages and ATMs. Distinctive feature of this place is the opportunity to go snorkeling, because there is a clear sea and a rich water world.

It is worth going here in March, April or May. It is safe to say that this is the best beach according to tourists' reviews.

How to find it on the map: 10.286359, 103.9153568.17.

Vung Bau Beach

A small beach in the northwest of the island is a strip of fine soft sand stretching for several kilometers to the north. Here, unlike most beaches in Fukuoka, there is no debris and the water is crystal clear. Entry into the water is smooth, and the sand is bright yellow.

The southern part of Wung Bao may well be considered wild, since it is completely empty and there is no infrastructure. In the north, things are a little better - there are a couple of cafes and hotels. There is an opportunity to lie in the shade of trees or in the sun - there is enough space.

Now the beach is not particularly popular, but the construction of the first tourist sites has already begun here.

Mui Ganh Dau

The beach is small and far from the cleanest. You can find it in the north of Fukuoka Island, 28 km from the capital (marked on the map). The most convenient way to get here is on bikes - during the trip you will see picturesque fishing villages, local residents and how they lead their life.

This beach is almost wild - there is only one restaurant and hotel, and there are always few people. The sand is fine, yellow, and the water is cloudy. Entry into the water is smooth, but the sandy strip is narrow, during high tides there is nowhere to sit.

Mui Gan Zau is surrounded by forests and mountains, so storms rarely happen here, and bad weather bypasses this place. The main advantage of the beach is the picturesque views.

Thom Beach

Located in the extreme northwest of Fukuoka. It is a very quiet and calm beach surrounded by thickets of hazel trees. You can get here on a dirt road by bike or car. There is practically no infrastructure, but there are still a couple of family hotels.

The sand on the beach is light yellow, and the sea is shallow, the tide is noticeable. Unlike the promoted Bai Sao, there are very few people here, which means there is less garbage, but plastic bottles and bags are still found.

So far, there are no large hotels on the territory of Thom Beach, but the construction of a large tourist center is planned in the near future. Therefore, for lovers wildlife it's worth hurrying up.

As you can see, the beaches of Fukuoka are really beautiful and good in their own way. If you want to relax your mind and body, consider this island as your next destination!

In this post I will tell you about the best beaches in Fukuoka and make my personal rating of beaches. Also here you will find tips on choosing a place to come on vacation and a map of Fukuoka beaches in Russian.

In general, Phu Quoc is a beautiful tropical island, but it has its own characteristics. Firstly, tourism here began to develop quite recently and at a very fast pace, because of this, construction, dust and dirt in many places. This is no longer a tropical paradise, where you are alone with nature, although in general the ecology is good - there are no industries. Secondly, there is a real problem with garbage and sewerage, the Vietnamese seem to have not yet figured out what to do with it with the influx a large number people. Yes, if the staff of the nearby hotel is watching the beach, they will be simply gorgeous. And if it's nobody's territory, then all the garbage will be raked there.

I think it will take several years and Phu Quoc will turn into main resort Vietnam (like Phuket in Thailand, where tourism has been developing for a long time). Until that happens, you have the opportunity to enjoy the almost empty beaches of this island. And I'll tell you which beach in Fukuoka to choose.

The best beaches Fukuoka is mostly located on its west, north and northwest side, but there are two chic places to visit on the east coast. These are the small beaches of Sao and Kem. They are small, but very picturesque!

Sao beach

A cozy bay about one and a half kilometers long with incredibly white sand, fine as flour. There are truly paradise landscapes here, curved palm trees on the coast, mountains around, overgrown with tropical forests ...

Bai Sao is considered the most beautiful beach Fukuoka is the visiting card of the island. All the more surprising is the heaps of garbage that can be found in some places along the beach. Apparently there is such a feature of winds and currents that garbage is washed ashore in certain seasons.

Plus, add to this the crowds of people who come on their own or on a guided tour, jet skis, bananas and all the attributes of a popular beach. So don't expect a bounty bounty from Sao Beach. The best part is on the left side at the very edge of the bay.

The entrance to the water is shallow, but there are small waves, but the water is very warm - the kids will love it. On the shore there are several overpriced beach cafes (it is better to buy food in advance in a store located at the turn from the main road to the beach), a toilet, a shower, you can rent sun loungers and an umbrella (100 thousand dongs). It is better to come in the morning: firstly, it is not hot, and secondly, the tourists have not arrived yet :)

There are no hotels on the first line on Bai Sao, everything is a little deeper, but I do not recommend spending a vacation here either.

Bai Kem

Bai Kem Beach is located just south of Bai Sao and is a little less than a kilometer long bay. There is an active construction of luxury hotels with all the ensuing consequences, it is not so easy to get to the beach (according to latest reviews now only guests of hotels on the beach can get to the beach).

In general, Bai Kem has the same white sand, the same picturesque palm trees on the shore, but there are no people. But all this beauty is available only to hotel guests. In the meantime, there is an active construction, I do not advise you to settle there. even if there is such a possibility.

Long Beach

Long Beach is the most developed beach in Fukuoka. Its length is about 20 kilometers, so everyone will find a place for themselves. The part to the north of the airport and to the city of Duong Dong is more developed, along the road there you will find all the tourist infrastructure in the form of cafes, restaurants, travel agencies, ATMs, hotels. Part south of the airport is just under construction, and although there have already appeared luxury hotels with a large territory, but otherwise you will be on the outskirts with an accompanying building landscape.

Long Beach has medium-sized golden sand, a gentle entrance to the water (in some places a little sharper), the purity of the water in the sea depends on the waves and the weather. During the calm period there was clear water here.

Unfortunately, garbage can be found in some places, and the sewage system flows directly into the sea.

The advantage of Long Beach is the proximity to Duong Dong, where there is a night market, a fish market and several temples. And in general it is interesting to look at the life of a small Vietnamese town. But you should still choose a hotel a little further from the city, nice beach starts from Saigon Phu Quoc Resort & Spa and further south.

Long Beach

In my opinion, Long Beach is the best beach in Fukuoka for a vacation. Yes, it may be a little less picturesque here than on Bai Sao or Ong Lang, but it's still pretty cozy. Plus, the developed infrastructure compensates for some of the disadvantages. It is easy to find a front line bungalow and enjoy your holiday.

Ong Lang Beach

Cool long beach to the north of the city of Duong Dong, it can be conditionally divided into several sections, and between them there are rocky headlands. Here, perhaps, the cleanest water that we have met on all the beaches of Fukuoka.

Ong Lang has fine, light sand, which is pleasant to walk on. The most picturesque stretch of the beach is located near the Coco Palm Beach Resort & Spa.

A big plus of this beach is the almost complete absence of tourists, as there are many classy hotels on the first line, all of a bungalow type. Chic place for newlyweds and lovers of tranquility!

The infrastructure is rather poorly developed, a little deeper towards the main road you will find cafes and restaurants, the rest of the place is rustic and quiet.

Cua Kan beach

The beach is located next to the river of the same name, which flows into the sea. Rafting on the Cua Kan River is a popular pastime among tourists.

The beach is almost wild, there are no tourists, only some locals. There are some backwaters and estuaries nearby, and a small community lives. It can be messy. There are only a couple of hotels in the vicinity, and a few cafes are on the way from the main road. Suitable for lovers of complete privacy :)

Vung Bau Beach

You can get to the southern part of the bay only through the territory of some hotel, we were in the northern part, the one that is closer to the cape.

Clean and remote beach, quite picturesque. Coastline narrow, there are almost no people, only those who came here specifically by bike or taxi, and the few guests of local bungalows. The entrance to the water is shallow, the water is very clean and transparent, there are sunbeds and a tire on a rope instead of a swing :)

There are several bungalow hotels on Vung Bau, all on the first line. You can eat only in the hotel cafes.

The luxurious beach of the five-star Vinpearl Resort & Spa Phu Quoc. This hotel - whole city with a lot of buildings, villas, bungalows, swimming pools, golf courses, spa centers, gyms, a huge green well-groomed area, where tuk-tuk runs. Nearby is the Vinpearl Land amusement park, the hotel also provides free transfer from airport.

Bai Dai Beach

Bai Dai Beach with shallow yellow sand, the entrance to the water is shallow, and the sea is very clean, which is why the rest here is ideal for families with children.

Gan Dau

The village of Gan Dau is located in the extreme northwest of Fukuoka, literally a few kilometers from the Cambodian islands, they can be clearly seen from the coast.

On the west side, there is a beautiful but dirty beach with cafes on the shore and many boats in the water. Most of the locals eat here.

Drive through the village (passing a rather smelly fish market along the way) and drive to the north coast near the Peppercorn Hotel Beach resort then there will be a pretty beach. During our visit, the water was not very clear, but almost no one.

Appeasement

Phu Quoc Starfish Beach

The beach near the village of Rat Wem is also called the beach with starfish. One of the best beaches in Fukuoka and well worth the trip. Best known for its marine life, with which you can take a memorable photo.

And you can sunbathe here, white sand, clean water and a gentle entrance to the sea are good attributes and help in this matter. I recommend going only in the high season (from November to April), according to reviews at other times there is a lot of algae and debris that no one cleans up, plus the dirt road is washed away after the rain. And also move as far to the right as possible, there are fewer people, and there are more chances to see sea stars.

There is an overpriced restaurant on a wooden platform over the water, no more infrastructure.
