Although I personally had the experience of swimming in central beach and I will say that there is nothing worse than, for example, in Gelendzhik. On the beaches of Jomtien and Naklua, the water is of course cleaner. Well, if you serve crystal clean water, and go to distant islands do not want to, then go to the island of Ko Lan.

Is it a pity to pay extra 50 baht for this? On Ko Lana, prices are much higher, it is better to shop in advance in Pattaya, before going to the island.

Ta Waen and ThongLang beaches

These are the most popular beaches in Ko Lana. There is a pier where ships and boats sail. Ta Waen was mainly chosen by Russians, ThongLang by Chinese. Very crowded, the place is clearly not for a relaxing holiday. The beaches and the entrance to the sea are sandy, good for children. Infrastructure - shops, restaurants, police, first-aid post, toilet.

And this is how passengers sometimes leave the ship on the pier on the Ta Waen beach. Don't be alarmed - it's even fun.

Ta Waen and ThongLang beaches are to the left of the pier, and if you go right, you will find yourself on a small cozy beach. The sun beds here are close to the water, but there are not so many people.

Thian Beach (Tien)

If you go to this beach, be sure to take a treat - bananas or other fruits. Monkeys are very fond of mangosteen. Fruit is also sold on the beach, but at exorbitant prices. On the left side of the beach, where the monkeys are, the entrance to the sea is rocky. You can snorkel and watch fish. If you will be in the summer, swimming is problematic during low tide.

Tham Beach, Samae

Personally, I didn't really like the beach, as there are a lot of people and the sun loungers are close to each other right down to the water. Kruad Noi and Kruad Yai beaches

On the southern promontory there are 2 more beaches. But, firstly, it is problematic to get to them, and secondly, the bottom is rocky. Only extreme sportsmen and lovers of solitude will like it, since there is practically no one on them. You can meet nudists.

Kood

The second largest island in the country after Phuket. Completely "ready-to-eat" in terms of infrastructure - there are hotels, shops, markets, banks, even bars with "girls". Esotericists claim that seven layers of restless souls have gathered over Chang, which is why the sun does not burn so much, and the pace of life of the islanders is slowed down.

How to get there:

• From Pattaya, the most generally accepted way is the services of the same 35 group: 720 baht (both ends) cost a minibus + ferry, 1050 baht - delivery directly to the hotel on Chang. They will pick you up from your hotel in Pattaya at about 6 am.
• The mainland town of Trat, closest to the island, has an airport with local airlines. From there, a minibus will take you to your hotel for 500 baht.
• V Suvarnabhumi airport Hop on a 600 baht minibus that runs three times a day at 8:00, 11:00 and 14:00. The price includes a ferry ticket.
• From the center of Trat to the pier is about 20 km, which can be traveled on a public songteo for 60 baht.
• The ferry runs from 6:00 to 19:00 hourly. One way adult ticket costs 80 baht. You can transport a motorbike for 50 baht, a car for 100 baht.

If we talk about bungalows, then on the second line from the popular White Sand beach, the price of air-conditioned housing will be 600-800 baht / day. A completely Spartan version can be found from 300 baht. The rest of the beaches also have both pretty houses for 800-1000 baht, and huts without amenities for 200 (Tiger Hut on Klong Prao, Siam Hut on Lonely Beach).
