The Vietnamese are much closer and more understandable to us, which, however, does not make them more attractive. They are more severe and strict, do not smile "for nothing", like the Thais, it is clear what to expect from them. The bus driver may well yell at the passengers, and the mother may yell at her child. If you like it, they will smile at you and courteous from the bottom of their hearts, if you do not evoke sympathy, then the Vietnamese will not hold a mask of friendliness and make "knees" in front of you, but will simply send them three-story. The concept of “loss of face” does not exist here, therefore in the country they say everything as it is, everything is sincere and from the heart. No ostentatious hospitality.
In this respect, Thailand is different from Vietnam. If you have even a little money, they will fawn and build hospitality. Behind their world famous smiles, it is often unclear what is hiding. A Vietnamese is much easier to understand than a Thai. Thailand has never been under the colonial tutelage of the West, and European culture and mentality did not affect the Thais in any way. Therefore, this is a completely different world, alien and incomprehensible to us, although not devoid of attractiveness. Looking good, "not losing face" is the cornerstone of Thai culture. Emotions are often hidden, no screams in public, everything is ranked. True, some are sometimes overwhelmed and the long accumulated anger under the mask of a smile turns them into some kind of inadequate psychos.
As for the girls, Thais are more attractive in terms of their spiritual qualities, more caring, friendly and affectionate. Flip-flops are more severe and cold, and girls of simple behavior are very mercantile and do not even try to hide it as a secret. In terms of appearance, Thais are more petite, thin and flat-chested, and flip-flops look more voluminous where needed.
But naturally, like in any country, there are good people and bad people in Thailand and Vietnam.

Vietnam and Thailand are two states that share small territories of Laos and Cambodia. They are located on the same peninsula, their traditions and climate are similar.
